Whenever the family and I are south we have to visit Zaxby's. It's delicious, no frills or fancy anything, just chicken tenders done right, and the Zaxby's sauce is really good and reminiscent of Raising Cane's, although, I believe Zaxby's was here first. I ordered a To-Go meal and two of the employees were extremely rude just talking and not offering to take my order when there was no one at the register. It was a girl with glasses and brown hair and a short black guy who looked like he was from Key And Peel. The cherry on top was that I didn't see until I got home that i was given a MOLDY piece of bread and when I called no one returned my call. If I could give this experience a negative 5 stars I would. read more

Food was just okay, nothing special, your typical fast food joint. We had to wait about 20 minutes for our food (2 meals and 10piece tenders) they weren't busy, only 2 tables inside were occupied. Even when we got our order one item was missing, so we had to wait another 7 minutes for the missing fries. Restaurant looked a little trashed, the floor was soooo slippery I almost slipped in their bathroom, my daughter DID slip in the dining room by our table. Don't think we'll stop by again. read more

I don't think I would give any fast food place other than Zaxbys five stars. But it is well deserved. Living in Pittsburgh I only get to experience Zaxbys when I take a trip south. After eating here once, stopping at a Zaxbys is a must for my wife and I anytime we are near one. Being from a place where the fast food options are all pretty standard, i.e. McDonalds, Wendy's, Arby's, etc., Zaxbys is a great change of pace. The inside is nicer than a fast food place, but not too fancy looking. The service is always fast and friendly. I haven't ever had something I didn't like. The Zingers, boneless wings, sandwiches, and fries are all delicious. Most importantly, the chocolate cookie milkshake is one of the best milkshakes I have ever had. This is a must have if you stop here. read more

First time to try a Zaxby's since moving to South Carolina from Oklahoma. I see them everywhere, so I decided to try. Got the 5 piece strips and for the first time since I can remember, the fries were hot, chicken was fresh and hot, perfect portion and the lady at counter was nice. Totally impressed with this place. Great people who work here... 5 stars for fast casual.. Not sure if the ones when I get back home will be as good as this one, but you can't go wrong sing here. read more

Zaxby's is like the most upscale fast food restaurant. They really do chicken right! As much as I appreciate Chick-Fil-A, Zaxby's has a much more varied, innovative and TASTY menu. Everything I have tried is good. My most frequent orders are the "Wings and Things" and the "Blue Buffaloed zalad". Salads are called zalads here. Also, the salads are served in huge reusable salad bowls. I am a fan of Chili's casual dining, and I also frequent the Applebee's across the street, but still, Zaxby's outperforms all of them with many of their chicken dishes. The place is nicely decorated, also looking more like a casual dining restaurant than fast food. I really REALLY like this place. read more

On Thursday at approx 1630, myself and my two girls visited Zaxby's. Our order was timely, the greeter was fine, everything was fine until--yes---until the dreaded find. My oldest daughter stated "Eeew, Dad, look" and proceeded to show me a hair cooked into her fry. It was a pubic style hair or possibly an African American type kinky/curly hair approx. 1 inch long. Well we all just sort of lost our appetite. I did notice two African Americans working, one older gentleman directly with the food, that neither had on hair nets or gloves. Regardless, it could have easily been a long wavy blonde hair. Anyway I saved the fry, showed the manager and stated "yall are gonna have to tighten up". To my surprise she smiled, took the fry, chunked it straight into the trash can and stated "yeah, we just bad aren't we". I just shrugged it off and left. It has not left a very good impression with us. I think anyone handling food should be properly out fitted and held to a higher standard. read more
