We went on a Saturday and it took a long time for the food to come out. The mutton chops were slightly too burnt. The beef shawarma patties were decent. Both curries were got were good.

A clean and spacious sport with a wonderful ambiance - perfect for a get-together with family and friends. A side Falooda bar was a fun.

We ordered the special grill which came with a variety of meat options and 2 pieces of garlic naan. It's a good way to try a variety of kebabs. My favorites were the mutton chops and the chicken malai. There was plenty of food and could easily be shared among 2-3 people. Service was quick and attentive!

My friend wanted to try this place out so we went here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. There's plenty of parking and the menu is QR code. I ordered the chicken skeeh kebab. My friend ordered kharai chicken. My food came pit pretty quick but my friend's dish took a while. I think they forgot about his order. He had to go to the counter to ask about the dish.

Amazing, tasty, spicy, super flavorful. Liked the addition of the fresh cilantro and red onion. Will have to try again with Naan or paratha to get the full experience.

Halwa Puri!

Zaviya Grill is awesome and one of the few places where you can get Pakistani cuisine in the greater Austin area. The issue for me was always the service and it has improved a lot from before! Our go to's are goat biryani, goat karahi, chicken qorma, & halwa puri (weekends only). One biryani order is good enough for two people. Finally, the curries include white rice on the side! Have tried one of the mixed grill platters. It was a bit dry but good overall. I've definitely had better though. Last time we tried buffet was 2019 and it was really good...the mixed vegetables and the spicy fried chicken were my favorites after the biryani. I am not sure if they still do buffet during the weekdays. They do catering with super reasonable prices. I am super thankful for Zaviya Grill. Next on my to-try list is the goat brain masala!

Chana Masala

Delicious food!!! I had the Chicken Malai Boti which was the most flavorful chicken I have ever had. The garlic naan and the plain naan were so fresh and unbelievably flavorful. We also had the Chana Masala which was a bit too spicy for me but was still good. When I had a forkful of the charred onions with the Chana Masala and rice it was perfection in my mouth. I have to say I was a bit reluctant to go because I wasn't sure if I would like anything. What a pleasant surprise!! Very clean too!!!

Casual dining place with decent fare and seating. Not a high end restaurant but the food is good value for the money.

I like this place for good food but today the food was far below standards. Tasteless, qorma meat was hard and kebabs were full of salt.

We had the best server, our little group quickly vibed with her! Of everything we sampled, the Samosa Chat and Sag Chicken were my absolute favorite - the spice was on point. Because our group enjoyed spicy foods, our server generously brought us out a unique New Year's drink, and let me tell you, I need to have that on the regular! All in all, a great restaurant!

I tried the Ulavacharu soup--absolutely delicious. It's main ingredient is horse gram, which apparently is in the legume family. It wasn't like any soup I've had before, so description is a bit tough. It was fairly spicy to start with, but less so as I kept eating it. The only things I could identify was ground up horse gram, some sweet onions, and some thinly shaved ginger, but it had a lot of complexity. Highly recommend that and the rose milk (especially if you need some relief from the spiciness when you start out.) I had a little bit of my friend's butter chicken sauce, and that was excellent too. More heavily tomato-based than I'm used to, but a lot of depth of flavor. I'd happily order that in the future. I can't wait to come back and try their buffet when my diet restrictions are over :) Service was great. I asked if a few of the menu items have coconut in them since I'm allergic, and our server double checked with the kitchen for me and was very nice about it. Really pretty dining room as well. The location isn't as central as I'd like, but that does make it easy to find parking in the lot. Definitely recommend!

They had a clean and neat interior with a welcoming atmosphere. Our food came out quickly after ordering. The food was super hot so be careful not to burn yourself. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Channa Masala are tasty! Choose your spice level on a scale of 1-5. We got #3 for medium, which had good heat without being overpowering. Love all the different spices that gave much depth. Both curries were super flavorful, so a small scoop on top of your given rice goes a long way. The Garlic Naan had some subtle garlic flavor and you can see real bits of garlic on top. Would have liked a stronger garlic flavor. Nice flakiness though. It is kind of hidden in the back of the plaza next to the Cinemark theaters. Make the trip over there for delicious curries!

It is the type of day that makes you want to eat comfort food. Bombay to Kathmandu was the ideal place for some lentil soup and naan. My soup was steaming hot and my naan quite tasty. Walking into Bombay to Kathmandu feels like being transported around the world. The beaded curtains, tin doors and other Indian Nepali artifacts made the place appear authentic. I placed my order with the cashier, who was warm and welcoming. The menu is remarkably diverse, offering classic Indian favorites alongside traditional Nepali dishes, which makes it stand out. The restaurant is known for its momos, curry dishes and aromatic sauces. Importantly, there are plenty of options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Their creative fusion items, including curry inspired pizzas are their specialties. My soup was quite generous and filling. Prices are reasonable, and the food consistently delivers big on taste. The chicken was tender though. Same with the saag paneer. they did give me a good portion for both entrees but it was also not as flavorful as some others ive had. dont think I would come back. Would probably try a different spot next time. In the past I have had Northern Indian food that is creamier and the flavor profiles are pretty different. This spot isnt bad though. Samosas were average nothing crazy, the potato filling was bland and outer shell could have been crispier. They also did not give any chutney for the samosas which was a bit disappointing as well.

The samosas are excellent, crispy and served piping hot alongside both tamarind chutney and cilantro chutney for a sweet, savory, and spicy contrast. I'm grateful that they're informed and honest about it, but that was my main motivation for visiting. At least, the veggie thupka was tasty, like a meatless version of chicken noodle soup. Comforting, unchallenging, and probably good for kids, too. For the more adventurous, the aloo gobi is not messing around; even the medium spice has a nice bite to it. There only appeared to be one waitress working so service was very slow. Order ahead, or plan to make it a night.
