We never had Pulav here before but thought of trying because it was listed as new item. My husband was craving for poori so we got the poori aloo and ofcourse, rava dosa is one of the best here so we didn't want to miss that. We got poori pretty quick and were told that other items were coming pretty soon. Rava dosa came after in few mins but it was soggy and cold. You can tell that it's not just came out of tawa. It looked like an old order to me. I asked to call the manager and told about dissatisfaction with rava dosa. He first tried to defend, then I asked him to touch and tell and if it's fresh. He said he will get it replaced and get a fresh one coming. Ofcourse that took 15-20 mins to come. Paneer Pulav was good. Not too spicy and it came with yogurt to balance. Rice was also sticking to each other so it looked like paneer biryani to me but ofcourse very balanced spices version. My friend also ordered the veg keema Pulav but I like the paneer one more. Service can be hit or miss so I'm reducing one star but overall good quality is good. Also when I visited this back in June, they had the buy 2 Pulav at a certain price offer going on. We looked at it later and checked that out cheque had individual priced for each Pulav. Manage gave the reason as we ordered two in 15 mins gap. He later offered us the balance as courtesy but we didn't take it. I think this should have been accounted while creating the cheque in first place. Overall good place for vegetarian south Indian food.

The appetizer was served last, and it wasn't even piping hot, as if they had just made it. You only get one tiny 8-ounce plastic bottle of warm water to drink, unless you go out and grab another one out of the pack in the other room. That said, the dosa is excellent, textures and flavors on point. Onion pakoda are crave-worthy, crispy and well seasoned. The spices are bright and bold, unrestrained, and deeply satisfying. It's fantastic that so many options are vegan as is. Unfortunately, the issues with payment was the final straw. I had a coupon that seemed to completely flummox the poor guy, and while fumbling with my phone, executed the transaction with Google pay, which is not at all how I wanted to pay. He "couldn't" refund it, for some reason. It makes me so sad. Seems like a great, family-run place with excellent food. I won't be revisiting.

There was one customer waiting, and not another person. I waited about ten minutes. My son loves chicken Tikka masala, so we ordered him some. It is spicy. I'm into a moderate spice, and this is burning my lips as I type. There was no option when ordering online to determine level of spice so we weren't ready for that. Beyond the spice the chicken was tough, so even if the spice was toned down the chicken wasn't great. The tandoori chicken is nice and flavorful and tender. $17 for three drumsticks and two thighs might be a bit steep. Overall not an overwhelmingly good experience.

We've had really good food at other Indian restaurants before, but sometimes the service, atmosphere, or cleanliness can be a little hit or miss. Sangam seriously stood out because they delivered on ALL of it. They were BUSY, like a shit ton of people waiting outside busy , but somehow that didn't affect the quality of the food, speed of service, or cleanliness of the restaurant. Our food came out quickly, everything was fresh, and the whole place still felt incredibly well run. Our waitress Mandipa was AMAZING. She was attentive, patient, never made us feel rushed while ordering, and helped guide us through the menu since so many of the dishes were new to us. And the FOOD... the flavors and cook on everything were what really separated this place from others we've tried. The mutton was incredibly well seasoned, tender, and easily one of our favorite dishes. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and our shrimp dish actually had a solid amount of shrimp, all plump and cooked just right. The garlic naan was LOADED with garlic in the best way and stayed soft and fluffy throughout the entire meal, which is surprisingly rare, plus most places never put enough garlic. We ordered everything medium spice and were honestly impressed that the spice level actually matched what we expected. It had the perfect amount of heat to make you feel it, but not so much that it covered up the flavor. We LOVE spice, so it was refreshing to have "medium" actually bring some heat while still letting all those spices and ingredients shine. If you're sensitive to spicy just note, it might be a little hot for you, depending on what you order. The daily special benne dosa was another standout, crispy, buttery, and the sauces served with it were OUTSTANDING. Even dessert surprised us. The Carrot Halwa topped with ice cream was phenomenal and the perfect way to finish. Every dish had such developed, layered flavor like it had been cooking forever soaking up all those spices and fresh ingredients. This has officially been added to our favorite restaurants in Austin, and we can absolutely see why Infatuation Austin rated it one of the Top 25 restaurants. Hands down the best Indian restaurant we've been to to date. We just moved to Leander, so we're VERY excited they're opening a location closer to us. Highly recommend!
