I Shopped around for reasonably priced Storage facility in my general area, what I found were expensive and out of my range financially. A close friend then told me about Zavala us Mini Storage on Tully Road across from the East ridge Mall and next to Reid Hillview Airport. What a great find ! The business grounds are always clean and well kept. This storage rooms are good size and better priced than any I'd looked at. Zavala is family owned and run. The front office desk clerks are informative polite and helpful. I've rented there for near a year now and will continue to. read more

Zavalas is a great place with low break ins and it utilizes the TSA from the airport security that does patrols along their fence line often and all night. The neighboring public storage has a ridiculous number in comparison (check reviews). They do not do auctions. The price starts a little lower but climbs very very fast. It seems like they want the quality customer that's been with the. For years to pay top dollar but still invite new renters with considerably lower prices. Regardless, after being there about 7+ years im paying 300 for a 10x20 that is not accessible after 5pm or open on Mondays. The staff- the staff has always been very helpful and understanding with any questions , concerns or problems. They also have some boat and RV parking For a reasonable price. Credit card is usable but a hefty fee is included. Port a potty on site, no food or beverage's available for purchase. I think they have locks and other storage related items read more

They're always there to help you with any questions or assistance. Their prices are so much lower than their competitors. I feel that my goods are safe at Zavala's mini storage because Staff is always around and they have lots of security cameras. I highly recommend them!!!!! read more

We rented a unit at Zavala's for several months and had no complaints other than the fact that they're not open as late as some other PoS storage places nearby. They painted the unit before we moved in, showed me where all the security cameras are to set my mind at ease, and they called me each month to run my credit card which I let them keep on file. They don't have an online payment service, but getting the call and verbally authorizing the payment each month worked just fine. This week we needed a storage unit again, but I thought I'd save a few bucks since I only planned on needing the storage for a few weeks. The PoS on Aborn had decent reviews and had their typical $1 first month thing, so I went for it on a 10x10 unit. Guess what?! Two days after moving our stuff in, we went back and found that we had been robbed! I SHOULD HAVE JUST GONE BACK TO ZAVALA'S!!!! read more

Good spot for safe and easy access for your stuff. Grace and David are the best with customer service and help you with whatever you need. Happy with my storage spot. read more

i give them my new card number to charge me automatically and they somehow manage to not save it on file even though they have me fill out a paper and make a copy of the card or my ID. when the payment is late then u get a fee ... dont understand why. this actually happened twice so its just plain frustrating now and not just 1 bad experience. this morning i go in to discuss something and just end up getting yelled at by the guy. didnt look anything up, started answering me with my own question and was just rude and unprofessional. i ask him what time i can speak to someone without attitude and he tells me to "come back later" no exact time. i dont like being negative and i give many chances but c'mone : / id say try them urself but switch if unhappy. theres no point in going in circles and getting yelled at. shame because i find the whole idea and office charming. read more

moving is a complete pain in the ass. from getting stuff packed and figuring out what to throw out to figuring out where you're gonna put stuff until you move into your new place. luckily zavala's takes some of that stress away. they are located right between the public storage building and reid hillview airport on tully road. if you blink, you'll miss them. we rented a huge storage space (10' x 24') for $230 a month. the storage space is clean and the staff at zavala's is extremely helpful. you only have to put the initial month's rent and a $20 processing fee down to rent there. our grand total came out to $250. read more

PROS Most of the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. (unlike the staff at the storage place next door!) Clean & spacious. Cons: -Sometimes they close earlier than their closing time, which is already pretty early 5:45pm! read more

Rented here for a year, dealt with incompetent staff every time. You can definitely tell this is a family run business, and it's the family that runs it because these people would be deemed unemployable anywhere else. Also, their hours vary according to the employee opening or closing depending on if they want to come in late or leave early. If you don't mind stuff like that, this place is for you because it's definitely the cheapest around! read more

The price is reasonable but wasn't happy when they stopped taking credit card payments over the phone...BIG INCONVIENANCE for me.

Signed a contract for a year and provided my credit card for auto pay. They ran the card several times in a row and my CC company did not authorize the card flagged as fraudulent charge. They have old CC equipment and they must have put wrong info in to the CC machine. Instead of calling me- they waited pass my "late date" then called and want to charge me late fees. When talking on the phone with David and Norma- they complain that they do not have the man power to call people if their charges do not go through. They spent 10 minutes over talking me and not allowing me to talk. They said Management requires the late fee. My CC company provided a statement showing how they ran the card numerous times over and over. And the CC company flagged it as fraudulent. "quote-" we do not care what your credit card company has to say and you must pay cash or check from now on. Customer service is ridiculous and MANAGEMENT needs to upgrade their equipment and they need more staff and it would be great if they were open during their posted hours. Sometimes they leave early. read more
