SHOPPERS BEWARE!!! I normally buy colognes for every day use here. To avoid using my expensive ones that I would normally use for special occasions. Let me start w/ rude staff, and price labeled wrong. When you confront them, after scanning an item showing a different price than what it was labeled. Instead of correcting it, staff will immediately give you an attitude. LOOK OUT HOW THEY CHARGE YOU PER ITEM. MAKE SURE IT MATCHES WHAT THEY LABEL IT.

OMG, this is so funny! I came to write about what an awful experience I had at this particular Zara store, only to see that everyone had a similar experience. I had to return a pair of shorts that were too small, so I lined up at the returns and exchanges line. After a few minutes, one of the employees at the register told me to line up with the other 30 people at the checkout line. So I did, and when it was my turn, the other employee asked me why I hadn't lined up at the returns and exchanges line. I explained that the person next to her had told me to line up with everyone else. The person helping me said, "Next time, you should just line up here." The girl who had told me to line up with everyone else overheard us and said, "No, we don't do that." I asked her why there was a returns and exchanges sign if that wasn't the procedure, suggesting they should remove it. The person helping me responded, "Yeah, you could have let me help her." Then the girl said, "No!" I asked for her name because I didn't understand why she was so rude and unhelpful. She laughed and said, "I am not giving you my name!" (Oh well, I snapped a photo.) So, in the end, not all of the employees there were bad, but this one was the bad apple that spoiled the bunch. I'm never going there again!

Me smiling knowing I will never have to suffer Zara's indifferent service. FOAD.

ZARA just charged me 10 cents to hold the merchandise I bought. Why TF did I go against my previous review of this POS clothing retailer that I would never patronize them ever again?!?!. I HATE this company. You're over-rated, ZARA. You're rude & imperious & customer-UN-friendly. And your floor staff look miserable all the time...nary a smile or a "Can I help you?". ESAD.

Came to the store to pick up an online order real quick - or so I thought. I waited behind 3 people, 2 of which were already being helped. 1 person being helped took 20+ minutes at the register scrolling on her phone for something - Idk the circumstances. The other register opened and the person in front of me began to ask to see different sizes of the items she already had and proceeded to pick out perfume mid purchase. I am literally standing there with nothing in my hands, obviously not buying anything, annoyed but patient. After waiting ~20 minutes, the remaining person who was being helped when I arrived had finished. I went up to the cashier only to be told that the online order pick ups are in the mens section. I had never had this occur at another store, but she did seem to feel bad about it. I went over to the men's section and gave the guy my name to get my order. I proceeded to suggest that they add a sign over at the women's registers stating that the pick up is here instead, as I waited 20 minutes for no reason. He said, "yeah.. it happens." Not sure if he realized, but this response only makes matters worse! I responded, "Well it shouldn't." He went on to say that there is actually a table with a sign out there (referring to the women's section is how I took it). I went over there to look for the table with the sign but still had difficulty finding it. The employee who had given me my order had coincidentally walked into the women's section at this time, so I asked him to show me where it was. He directed me to the edge of the men's section to a low table with small letters stating "online pick up" only. I have included a picture. Note: This is completely out of the way when walking directly from the front of the women's section to the register in the back. *side eye* @Zara TO

Please get new managers. The staff is beyond rude and unprofessional...Zara is a wonderful company but the staff here are horrible.

Nash Boutique is the absolute cutest and such a great little boutique in Thousand Oaks. Shoutout to…read moremy friend Jara S. for initially introducing me to this spot. She created some gift boxes and in these boxes one of the items was a candle from this store. The candle was so cute it had been on my mind to come to this store in person. Wandered in on a Friday lunch break and I was instantly in awe of all the cute clothing, gifts and customizable jewelry in the back. Lorrie one of the owners was in the shop and she couldn't have been lovelier. She was so welcoming and allowed me to shop around at my leisure. She also entertained my many questions that I had about their charm bar and she was so sweet answering them and helping me understand the concept so that I could design my own necklace. After some searching I picked out a chain that fit my style and then grabbed a handful of different charms that represented me. Lorrie put the necklace together for me and helped me so much! She laid out the charms in an order that would hang well and looked cute, then she got to work on crafting me my necklace. This is one of my new and favorite custom jewelry pieces to date. If you are looking for something fun and customizable, you definitely need to make your own necklace or bracelet with Nash. I was happy to score this pretty jewelry piece and also walked out with a cute aperol spitz pillow that they had on sale. A total steal. Very cute gifts and small home goods items here. Also I really like their clothes and they have a fitting room in the back. What's awesome about their clothes here as they have a variety of sizes which makes this store and their clothing feel very inclusive for all shapes and sizes. Much needed in the Thousand Oaks area may I add. Nash is truly a gem and the people that work here are so kind and genuine. If you love supporting local you must check out this shop! I'll be back soon and with some friends - makes for the perfect girls day little shopping trip.

My four-year-old son and I visited the store to celebrate his birthday, a tradition we have enjoyed every year since his first birthday. What should have been a joyful surprise became one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I have ever had. When we entered the store, the first sales associate asked when my son's birthday was. I explained that his birthday was June 29 and that we were still within a month of his birthday. She responded, "As long as it's in the month of July." I explained that it was within the past month, and she immediately told me that was not allowed and that I would have to pay full price for the birthday bear. I politely asked, "You can't just honor it?" She walked away to speak with someone I presume was the manager. When she returned, she told me they would honor the $4 birthday bear, gestured toward the eligible bears, turned around, and walked away. She never came back. My four-year-old son stood there waiting, excited for what was supposed to be a birthday surprise. We were left standing without any assistance until another sales associate finished helping another customer. I finally had to ask, "So, is someone going to help us?" The second associate looked confused, looked around for the first employee, and then stepped in to help us. I want to recognize that this second associate was exceptional. She immediately made my son feel special by giving him a birthday badge and enthusiastically celebrating his birthday. The associate who stuffed his bear was also warm, patient, and kind. Their professionalism helped salvage part of the experience, and I am grateful for the care they showed my son. By that point, the excitement surrounding the birthday bear had disappeared. I no longer wanted to continue discussing the promotion after the way we had been treated. Instead, I let my son choose a full-price Chase bear because I wanted to preserve what remained of his birthday celebration. As we were finishing our visit, the original sales associate returned and asked the other employee whether she had collected our name and email "for the birthday bear," despite clearly seeing that my son had selected a full-price Chase bear instead. She continued questioning the other employee while glaring at us. Her demeanor throughout our visit was hostile, dismissive, and unwelcoming. I left the store feeling embarrassed, humiliated, and deeply saddened. What troubles me most is that I watched other families receive warm, attentive, and courteous service while my family was treated differently from the moment we entered the store. Based on the totality of this interaction, I believe we were subjected to discriminatory treatment. While I cannot know the employee's personal motivations, I know how my family was treated, and it stood in stark contrast to the treatment other customers received. As a Black mother, I should not have to wonder whether my race influenced the level of respect and service my son and I received during what should have been a joyful milestone. This annual Build-A-Bear visit is more than a shopping trip. It is one of our family's birthday traditions. Since my son's first birthday, we have celebrated by making his birthday bear together. Those memories are incredibly special to us. This year, one employee's conduct overshadowed what should have been another cherished memory. I am requesting the following: A thorough investigation into this incident, including interviews with the employees who worked that day and a review of any available surveillance footage. Appropriate accountability for the employee whose conduct resulted in this experience. A written apology from Build-A-Bear acknowledging the way my family was treated. Confirmation of the steps Build-A-Bear will take to reinforce its commitment to equitable, respectful customer service for every guest. I chose Build-A-Bear because your company represents joy, inclusion, and creating lasting memories for children. My son deserved to feel celebrated on his birthday. Instead, he witnessed his mother being dismissed and ignored during what should have been a happy occasion. I hope Build-A-Bear will take this complaint seriously and respond in a manner that reflects the values your company publicly embraces. I look forward to hearing from you regarding the outcome of your investigation.
