He has great difficulty finding pants bc he's relatively thin but he's 6 foot 5, so every pair of pants he buys ends up being capris (lol). For some reason the size XL in these corduroy pants fits him perfectly. I don't know if they stretch bc you wouldn't think he was a size XL if you saw him, so either the waist is thinner but the size reflects the length, or they have a great capacity to stretch but are on the longer side. I found it interesting that there was nobody on the store floor to greet us, etc. My friend said he prefers that. He kind of just walked in, bee-lined to the corduroy pants he found last time, noticed that the only Colours available were: light grey, a charcoal black, & a forest green. He wanted to get the forest green pants but he just bought a similar shade of green sweater that he keeps wearing so I suggested the black variation so that nobody mistakes him for a Christmas tree. He wants the pants in tan, so hopefully they'll come out with them, but this review is more for the buying experience. Same $ as you'd pay in H&M, Target, etc. There's self-checkout (?!?). This place is definitely for the self-sufficient, avoidant-of-human-contact, shopper. There was an employee overseeing the self check-out but not a word was muttered. I was honestly so confused but my friend was just living his best life. I think there's cashiers too which would be helpful if you were returning something or desperate for human interaction. This grand opening does include similar treats like a free UNIQLO tote, free goodies like chips and mochi, and a Taiko Drum performance. I did buy some more stuff because this store location did provide a nice deal on the cotton boxer briefs. You can tell that the black was popular and so there was only a few navy left, so I was able to grab a few. I think the store still needs to work out its kinks with the self register because it was still adding items to my cart that I clearly did not have. This has happened in the other UNIQLO stores too, so I think it's a bit too sensitive. Overall, I really like UNIQLO and welcome the addition to the mall!

This particular Uniqlo is sadly low in customer service. You cannot find anyone on the sales floor to assist. One lady in the fitting room. And the rest are all in the front checkout just chillin' and chatting. They only have self checkout, one employee will asked what form of payment are you going to use. Then send you to one of their registers, you dump your clothing on this almost looking like a wood bucket. And it reads adds and total everything for you. Insert your payment, behind you is where the paper bags at. Just an odd check out. Would I come back to this particular Uniqlo? Not really.

What I really liked was that they had a section for the UT Collab T-shirts in the middle and I guess Beverly Hills denizens aren't huge anime fans because there was a sale on all of the Demon Slayer and Mamoru Hosoda shirts and there was SO many of them in ALL of the sizes surprisingly (could not find that at Westfield Santa Anita I am sure of it). The cost of the Mamoru Hosoda shirts ended up being $7.90 without tax so this was pretty cool! Other than that everything else in the store was standard I guess. Sucks that they don't have any of the collab shirt for women? We circled the entire store and they only had that one section with only what looked like shirts for men. Also it seems that the other collab shirts were Poke'mon and traditional Japanese art, but I could not see collabs for other well known series? No Disney surprisingly (which I always see at every other UNIQLO). There were only 2 cashiers working, so there was a short wait, not bad though.
