It really just you basic Target. It follows the typical store layout and was reasonably stocked and clean. They did not have the item we were specifically looking for but the nice lady who tried to help us find it, located the item in a close by store. There is ample parking with a caveat. Terrible location! I visited on a Friday afternoon, and many reckless teenagers were allowed to loiter, run, and cause trouble within the store and faced little consequence from managers. Even worse, teenagers and young children, some of them probably no older than 10 years old, are riding their electric bikes full speed back and forth across the entrance of the store! Weaving between traffic and people walking to and from the store. It is EXTREMELY dangerous! Target managers say it's not their parking lot so they can't do anything about it. How can this be?! Upon research, it does look like they DO bear responsibility for the safety of guests in their parking lot. They cannot take this matter lightly. Something has to be done, or mark my words, someone will get seriously injured or possibly killed if these kids are allowed to keep doing this. Visit at your own caution. read more

One of the nicest Targets in the very nice city of Westlake Village. I love the stone exterior used in every building inside this shopping plaza. They even have beautiful floral arches along the center walkway in the middle of the parking lot that leads to the entrance. read more

I purchased a pool basketball hoop online for $150.00. I had no idea my wife also purchased one. Target has a policy of 90 days return. its been about 40 days since our order and i go to return it and get told this is a "plus partner" item and it has a 30 day window?! extremely frustrating because how in the world would I know that. why would I think this item has a different policy then usual?! $150 is not chump change so it's upsetting to have to just sit on that. Not even an exchange? or a gift card or something to offset a weird policy that has two different return dates?! And they just kept saying they can't return it. But if I had shown up 10 days ago they would've taken it. read more

This Target offers plenty of parking. Lines can get long especially on the weekends and after 5 pm. There are several check out stations, and I have never experienced any issues using them. Customer service is mediocre. This location offers groceries. Furthermore, it also has a Starbucks, CVS Pharmacy, and Kaiser Clinic. All in all, this is a decent Target, but it doesn't stand out in my opinion. read more

Good store, good employees, great grocery prices. However, they Never pick up the phone and they Never have the Pizza Hut mini restaurant open not stocked. The latter is a joke. They also removed the little tables and chairs from their Starbucks section during Covid and never replaced them. So a lot lacking on those latter items. read more

Came here with the wife to check it out and as always I paid a bill and spent more then I should have (that's why I try to go by myself) they layout was great and they value of everything was on the higher side (thanks inflation) but other then that it's target your not not going to go. The items are run of the mill same things in all targets. I the only thing is there is more self checkout then I would if That's your thing that's cool I just prefer a human lol. I was using the self check out and requesting an assist to remove one of the items I already scanned, SERIOUSLY NO BODY was coming!!! There are multiple crew members walking by i tried to make an eye contact but they refused. I stood there for 10minutes to for to get help, EVERY single crew members ignored me. Super impressed with Target during this pandemic. While not all items i.e, perishables, can be purchased on line for curbside pick up, their process is incredible. The Target App is very easy to work with. The employees in customer service have been consistently helpful and kind while answering questions. Shout out to Julia in customer service for her polite, helpful guidance. Additionally, their ordering process is highly organized and user friendly. I can honestly say this as have used their services in this manner three times. Each time has been the same--easy, quick and flawless. Don't bother ordering with the drive up option. Without fail, they forget an item or A BAG of items every single time. It's really frustrating and then they don't answer their store phone ever to try to resolve the issue. Shopping inside the store itself is fine, but they really need to work on the drive up reliability. read more

The quality of Target Stores seems to vary greatly based on their location. Here in Westlake Village it's more upscale. Love the app, though a couple times it will indicate an item is available in store when it's not. Such was the case today. So I went to the Returns counter and asked Tess if she could help. She's a rock star. I knew my request wasn't in her department, but she was the first available employee I found. She reached out to someone on my behalf and within a minute I had what I was looking for. Apparently there were some in back that had yet to be added to the shelves. Wish I caught the ladies' name who tracked them down. On the flip side, they have most anything you need, and for a reasonable price. Many times I've been planning to trek out to a store 20 min away and then wondered if Target might have the same item. So I make that stop first and am often pleasantly surprised. read more

Never Hire Hello Tech East install. I recently purchased a Ring door and had kali K (sweet girl) come to my house to install a hardwired ring door for my front door and she was clueless. Target offers this service which then sub contracts and outside company to complete the job. Bad idea. Horrible experience. Never again. This is the most beautiful target I have ever stepped foot in! The store is so clean and organized and the store has an entire liquor section talk about one stop shopping! I could sit outside and people watch for hours bc the walkway in is stunning! I specifically drove to this Target to get a Pizza Hut mini pizza from the Target Cafe. However, when I rang the service bell 3 times, I was informed by a Starbucks employee working next door thar the person working the Cafe "might be on break." Also, the nearest cashier that told me to ring the bell again. I told her that I rang it three times already and she said that she had no idea what the Cafe employees' schedules were, but they could possibly be on break or lunch. I asked if there was another employee to cover their absence and the cashier again told me that she didn't know the Cafe employees' schedule. Now normally, I would've asked to speak with a supervisor regarding this matter, but I only had an hour lunch break from work, so I left immediately to try to salvage the 35 minutes I had left of my break. Don't get me wrong in this situation; I'm neither a Karen, nor a person who gets irritated at the slightest thing, but the fact that both the Starbucks employee and the cashier did NOTHING to ensure customer satisfaction is completely ridiculous to me. I would've called a supervisor or manger to remedy the situation. Nowhere in the posted hours does it say that the Cafe will be closed due to employee breaks. They should have another employee to cover their absence. I hope this review goes straight to the manager and beyond. This seems like such a petty request to have a single employee cover breaks, but is also an opportunity to train other employees not to shirk responsibility onto the poor one employee who needs to take a break/lunch working the Cafe. Teach them that, "When in doubt, call a supervisor or manger to make the customer happy." Don't just try to act like you are the be-all, end-all solution to a customer's issue. That's what supervisors and managers get paid for. read more

Had a very bad experience with an employee named Kim. Older lady blonde hair. I did self check out so she did not have to do much. She was chatting with an old friend in the middle of the checkout , I politely asked for a bag which I paid for. Employee Kim doesn't even look at me and proceeds holding out 2 bags that were stuck together.. I tried to separate them with out making her mad but they stuck together and as she pulled away she said " oh my god can you grab bag" making a face to her friend. I was embarrassed. Kim proceeded to talk to her friend as another customer was asking for assistance next to me I told him "she's talking". She walks over to me mumbling and then said "what did you say!?" Very aggressively. Very unprofessional. The least she could do was stop talking and do her job respectfully which wasn't even much. read more

This is a great Target location. Nice, clean store, with one of the better organized layouts I have seen for a larger format Target store. Everything from the clothing to the wine selection is impressive. My friend only drinks a certain rosé and I was able to find it for her birthday! Cheaper than any liquor store as well. The cashier at checkout was so nice. I saw them help carry bags for another customer. Even the security guard offered a friendly goodnight. I will definitely come back to this Target soon! read more

My son with autism wanted to purchase a DVD and didn't have the details of his gift card with him. He started getting agitated over the fact he couldn't use the card and buy the item today. She sat over an hour with us trying to resolve the matter . It didn't get resolved but it wasn't because she didn't do her very best. One hears so many stories of inadequate customer service in stores so Claudia's dedication and willing to help my son with autism really stands out. I stopped shopping at Target a little under a month ago because of their changes to their DEI policies. Unfortunately there is a product that they sell that I've been unable to find anywhere else so I ordered it and made it a drive up pickup. I was determined to not ever step into their store again .Went into the email and let them know I was on my way. Nobody ever brought out my purchase So I went inside and talked to somebody at the customer service section. She was a woman with shoulder length curly blonde hair and she was very rude. She cut me off while I was trying to explain that I had already let them know that I was on my way. She looked up the order and then said that's because you didn't tell us you were on the way. Had she been listening to me she would have known that that was not true. When I tried to explain to her again that I had she cut me off again and said "anyways I'll just go get it". Then she brought it back and handed it over in an aggresive manner without even looking at me or speaking to me. I started to ask her was there anything else you need from me? And of course she turned around and left right in the middle of my sentence. If there were any chance of Target winning me back it's a thing of the past now. read more
