My husband happened upon Ookkuu's website while looking for lighting - and we were shocked to find that they carried a number of items by famous Japanese architects and industrial designers that we'd never imagined we'd find in the states. We're lucky to have this shop in South Pasadena - I don't think there's a shop like it elsewhere in the states. ***Update*** 12/21/18 This guy Vincent was a big let down. As I said in my past review, if you want to save yourself the headache then purchase at a reputable, established store like Pottery Barn because the price you're going to spend on these couches isn't worth it. You guys enjoy your holidays. This guy Vincent actually asked for the invoice which I told him I didn't have because I purchased them 2 years ago. If you're so caught up on the invoice then let your customers know how important it is in the first place or how about this one, have a system that keeps track of it! ****End of review**** ***12/182018*** I spoke with Vincent who is the store manager. He advised me he would take care of this issue for me. I'll let you guys know how it goes. ***12/14/2018*** Save your money. Save yourself the headache. I bought 2 sofas from this location. Staff is amazing to you when your buying from them. As soon as you're not happy or want something fixed that is not what you ordered they'll give the run around. Should've bought my furniture from Pottery Barn, they're customer service is much better. Take my word for it. read more

Caryn at Sofa U Love Thousand Oaks is a great person to work with! Don't hesitate to go see her! She is so knowledgeable about sofas, fabrics, and the company she works for. Plus she's really nice and friendly!! She was very patient with us while we asked our 1000's of questions - and she knew her stuff. She took the time to get to know what our needs are too - explaining the different types of fabrics and why we should consider what we ended up buying. She truly made this experience simple, straightforward and, dare I say, FUN? I also love they have been in business a long time and stand behind their products. This is my second time buying from Sofas u Love. First time was 23 years ago And it lasted for 15 years. I replaced it locally as I lived out of state at the time Or I would have bought it again. While purchasing the new 7' and 5' sofas I was concerned with the cushion firmness level as they had different options. I was assured they will make adjustments as needed for 1 year. Turns out we chose the "Baby Bear" firness and it was too soft. You can guess where this is going right? On the 3 try they got it right! I want to thank there staff and company for their professionalism pertaining to "Making the Customer Happy" and standing behind their promise to make it right. In the end it was the "Mamma Bear" cushion that was "Just Right" read more
