The salespeople could have been better at guiding a customer who knew very little about mattresses in the right direction. Enter Steve, the owner of 805 Mattresses Pros. He explained the various products that he sells and the benefits of each of them. He took time to go through everything and by the time I was done I knew exactly what I wanted to get for the rooms. The store itself is kind of off of the main streets in Simi Valley but easy enough to find. He has a good selection of mattresses that are priced much lower that the other stores that I visited. It's really hard to justify spending over $5000 on a mattress for a guest bedroom which seemed to be the starting price of a decent mattresses at the other stores.

If his store doesn't stock an item, he will make calls and emails to find it for you. Andy asked if we ever thought about an adjustable mattress.... no, we never thought of having one.
