If you're looking for pants, the selection at Pants Town is very vast. We were specifically looking for a certain style of Dickie's pants. This store carries sizes that the mall stores don't have. I was worried we'd need to alter the pants length based on the sizes I was seeing online at Dickies.com or on Zumiez.com. However we were able to find the perfect length at Pants Town. Yelp needs to put more respect on the name of this woman and the legacy of pants town. I've been shopping there for two decades, back when the store was ran by the current owners late husband on Janss and Moorpark. It's definitely not as cheap as use to be and the days of 3 for 10 shirts are long gone, but that's not their fault. Everything is expensive these days. And their prices aren't that bad. Amazon is always gonna be cheaper but I'd rather support a locally owned business who has been a staple in the community and my wardrobe since middle school. I go here because this woman is the most organized, hardest working bad-@$$ of a woman I've ever met. She has all the clothes my middle school/high school boys want to wear (Dickies, ProClub). We're always in and out wthin about 3 minutes cuz she knows where to find what you need and she knows their size and then you're outta there. Please, do not let these reviews scare you away. I've visited Pants Town many times and I can assure you that this place is amazing. The lady who works there is very sweet. Plus she runs the store BY HERSELF without any help. Frankly, I think these negative reviews are stupid. Especially the ones that complain about the pricing. It's a local business therefore it's going to cost a little bit more than what Amazon.com offers. I've never had issues returning my products because I try them on before I buy them. read more

I just bought 2 hoodies and when ask how much the total was, all I was told was $56.99. I wasn't told $56.99 each. I understand the no refund policy, but when I called to explain to her that she didn't clarify that they were $56.99 each, she got extremely defensive and rude. She wouldn't let me speak, yelled over me, and then hung up on me. I work in retail and customer service and that is not how you should treat people. I was there when Todd M was trying to return his pants. Theres a sign on the register tha clearly states "No refunds (etc)" Todd was threatening the store owner with "destroying her on yelp" (among other things) Yelp is NOT a forum to hurt peoples business if you didn't like the price and didn't read store policy that was clearly on your reciept AND ON THE CUSTOMER FACING REGISTER. I had to step in due to this man saying how "he could get them cheaper at bla bla bla". She is a hard working lady that has served the community for tens of years. And I wont stand back and watch A MAN talk to a woman like that. Especially when he was clearly in the wrong. Buyer Beware. We purchased a gift for our son Dickis work pants. When we tried to return them we learned they don't offer refunds. The owner gave my wife a hard time, my wife had to ask if she could exchange them for something else, this was not offered as a solution until she pressed her. Then when my wife commented that the policy should be verbally explained at time of purchase, not just a little sign at the register, so we know ahead of time. The owner said, oh well, that's on you. That was a rude response. A simple from the beginning of oh I'm sorry we don't give refunds but you can exchange it for something else, would have been better response. Terrible pricing!!! I blame myself for not doing research before visiting the store. The owner is pushy and added lots of items up without telling me what things cost and nothing was marked. After I spent over $300 at this establishment, I stupidly checked other places - they were out of some sizes we needed - and realized I overpaid by $100+ on my Pantstown purchases! I would get more joy out of burning the $100+ I overpaid in total on the items I purchased - or simply flushing it down the toilet. I understand brick and mortar stores have rent to pay, but there are other brick and mortar stores I found after the fact that charge the same amount as online stores do for the same items so I really feel taken. Price gouging during the pandemic is wrong!!! And that what these people are doing. I tried doing business with this local business and couldn't be more disappointed. I stupidity paid $45.00 for Dickies uniform pants that I found out later I could have gotten elsewhere for $29.99.. I went back to return these unused items and was refused a return. Apparently in tiny print on the bottom of the receipt it says all sales are final. But as I looked around the store it is not posted anywhere. I would not recommend this store to anyone!! read more

So I came here couple months ago and I live on the other side of town got five short sleeves, three long sleeves and out of all those she gave me the wrong size they come in to Pats town since it was on the other side of Thousand Oaks since I don't live on this side of town, it took me a couple months to come and exchange out the sizes. They've obviously never been worn since they were the wrong size still in the same bag she gave me so I came today to exchange them not for a refund, but for an exchange I had to purchase more she said nope not doing it not after two months, so I told her that's fine. So happy that i was able to find Pants Town new location! I went in last week to purchase work dickies and a new hoodie for my boyfriend, having two kids, one who is 2 and one who isn't even half way to 1, it's hard to shop. immediately the lovely lady saw me carrying a baby seat carrier as well as holding my toddlers hand and asked me what i needed, i gave her the style and sizes. before i knew it she was back at the front desk then to top it off, she helped me and my kids back out to the car! something i was able to do, but the extra act of kindness so that i didn't have to do it alone made the experience that much better read more

IRRITATED to say the least! I went to Pants Town yesterday to get my BF some Dickies shorts and brought them home. When he put them on they were too tight - He's been the same size FOREVER!!! I spent $144 on them I'm so darn mad - These aren't Dickies! The old ones had a seam that you could let out if they were too small and these are not size 36 either - They run small and are way TOO EXPENSIVE! Went in today to buy a couple work shirts and a windbreaker. They don't have prices on anything. The owner rings me up, 152.00! The work shirts are 24.99 on Dickies Website and the windbreaker is 39.99. She wanted 38.99 for the shirts and 60 for the windbreaker. I asked her why she's doesn't have prices on the items and showed her how much they cost online and she told me Dickies called her and told her to raise her prices LOL! She also told me, "Why don't you buy it on the website then", so that's exactly what I did. Very disappointed. Tried to support local small business. But they're more interested in price gouging than making a sale. Needless to say I'll never go back. Read the other reviews you shouldn't either. Horrific customer service. My son went to this store to purchase Dickis work pants. The store did not have his size (32/34); however, Owner pressured him for the sale and represented that the pants run long and sold him a 32/32 . She took advantage of an underage customer just to make a quick sale. When he got home, he tried on the pants. The pants were clearly not long enough. I tried to exchange the pants for a proper size with a receipt and within the 7 day exchange period. She refused to exchange the pants and was extremely rude. I've never seen such poor customer service. Buyer beware! read more

Ive never had a good experience whenever Ive shopped here. Back In middle school the colored shirts from this store used to be the big trend so a lot of people would go here and you they do have an okay deal for buying multiple but the customer service has always been lacking. Back in middle school the lady used to have an attitude with my mom. In high school and now in college the few times that I've gone back to shop the shopkeeper just is plain rude. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and plenty of chances. A lot of the clothing seems to be cheaply made but is good if you need to get a cheap t-shirt to burn through. I came here for some pants and they only had one dressing room so I waited for a while but eventually had to go, so I just purchased the pants and figured I could return if they didn't fit me. Keeping up the with joke, I often inquire about the regional statistics of Cyber City, such as the seasonal rain fall, or the annual rate of crime. They are probably so over my awesome jokes by now -- regardless, I am left to picture CC as the ultimate "city of the future", replete with hoverboards and pizza enlargers. In my imagination, Pants Town is more rural than Cyber City. It's a place where life moves a little slower, where a person can just sip lemonade on their porch (with or without pants).
