A lot of cute stuff but can't understand with all that space why you have just one register open? I had to ask twice where to pay for something ... a lot of staff seemed to be standing just talking but it did appear to be about business issues but never asked if I needed help or anything. They seem to be oblivious about customers being there. I have seen with the other reviews that management doesn't seem to read or care about customer services as a lot of the complaints seem to be staff related. read more

Disgraceful disgusting company. Ordered a dress online. Couldn't fit it over my head and return it ASAP! They sent it back to me and said it was not in good return condition? What!? I didn't even wear it. I called customer service to complain. They were suppose to call me back for a 2nd review. By this time they sent it back to me. I called 2 weeks after and they decided without even seeing the product new with tags, they declined a refund? WTF!!!! Called again to speak to a supervisor and again no call 2 weeks later nothing! They obviously do not care about their customers. Disgusted and disappointed!! I will never ever buy anything from this company again and post this experience everywhere I can. read more

I love Zara. I love their clothes. This location, the only one in Washington just lacks the size selection that I'm used to seeing in NYC and Italy. I don't know why but it is very difficult to find clothes in XS for some reason. I end up a lot of times having to showroom and go home and order it online. I will say the service here is hit or miss. Sometimes I'm greeted and helped when I need and sometimes I'm ignored and no one is available. Overall, Zara runs a super agile supply chain where they send only a few units of each item to every store and they are able to create new trends and designed and have it in their stores super quick. I will say, if you see something at Zara you are on the fence about...buy it as it will likely not be there when you come back. Just saying...be warned... I will say their return policy is fine but their process in doing so is not becoming of a multinational chain. They have their manager come to check the barcode and serial number to the receipt and make sure the clothing is in good condition before approving. As a customer, you feel the sense you are holding up the line in doing so. Zara if you're listening, you are part of Inditex, a super successful company, dont make the customer feel awkward for returning. Also a tip, their clothes run super slim so if you buy any clothes for your boyfriend or husband, make sure you don't get the slim version of pants unless they have SUPER CHICKEN LEGS, seriously. read more

This is THE best Zara I have been to in the USA. They don't have too many locations here in the states and this one is huge. It's 2 stories tall and has tons of clothing in it. They have women's, men's and even children's clothes at this location. They were also having a huge sale when I was there! Even better :) If you don't know what zara is....they have very classy and fashion forward clothes. It's like a more sophisticated but very very similar version of H&M. read more

Honestly love Zara items for spring and summer. I was planning on buying my spring clothes today and as I tried on clothes I asked the staff what they thought about the style and size. Was soo let down that they didn't even bother noticing me and was just chatting until I started to talk to them. They weren't even helpful to me at all! One thing my family thought me is that no matter how much you like an item don't buy it if the service isn't great, it's not worth it read more

Check your receipt before leaving the store! I was charged for a $77 blazer that I did not buy, do not have & and never seen before in my life. Do not buy perfume at this place! They don't let you return if the box is opened. I didn't know this when I bought it. My first time buying the perfume here. I want the bottle with the leather on the outside of the bottle and it says Gardenia. When I bought it home and opened the box the perfume bottle doesn't have the covering on the outside. Brought it back for an exchange and they won't let me. Before I bought it I did bring the sample bottle and ask the cashier if it was the right one and she said it was. Very disappointed with their customer service read more

Zara has a very decent selection of clothes. Some of their styles are a little too outspoken or ill-fitting for me but that is mostly a taste/body thing. There are however a lot of great pieces that I have gotten from Zara over the past several years that I have been a die-hard fan of. To a large degree you get what you pay for. Their prices are great and the way that I wear my clothes, no matter the quality, it will break down sooner rather than later. I expect this in most of my clothes that I get from Zara and that's why I appreciate the price point. The other day however I bought a pair of Skinny Jeans and I was really happy the way they look on me and how they feel being worn. I was super bummed out when the button on the fly broke off after having the pair for 5 days. I went into Zara with the tag but no receipt (It got lost somewhere in my house) and they were more than willing to exchange the piece for me. Unfortunately they no longer had my size in the correct color so I had to go for a deeper blue. Either way it was quick and painless and they helped me out. I've always been pleased with the service at the downtown Zara. The only reason this score isn't a 5 is mainly because of the longevity and fit of most of the clothes, their lack in larger sizes, and the escalator is almost always out of service. Considering moving it up to a five however mainly because these issues are out of anyone's control in the store. read more

Oh Zara, you have the potential to be great but over the years, this store has seriously downgraded in terms of customer service, quality of clothing, general organization and cleanliness of the store and availability of stocked items. I now view Zara has the expensive version of Forever 21. I recently went to look at some spring clothing and left empty-handed because their clothes is not what it used to be and it was incredibly messy...have you every shopped in a messy store? Doesn't it give you anxiety especially when you can't find your desired items? I still believe Zara has the potential to be great again, even just having the store cleaner and more organized would greatly be helpful to customers. read more

My experience at Zara was nothing short of a disaster! I went there with my great aunt, who's 87, and we had to wait so long in line she almost peed in her adult diaper! Open more registers. I also had to come back to return a shirt that I ordered online because it didn't fit, and one of the workers told me to "hop on a treadmill" and threw her salad right in my face. Not only that, but there were roaches, ROACHES! This is Seattle, not Atlanta. I will be fueling my consumerism addiction on Depop from now on. You will never see another penny from me OR Auntie Geraldine. read more

First time consumer of the Zara brand and completely let down. I bought a wool coat at the end of Nov 2017. A few days in the liner started to rip. I've had the coat for about 1.5 months now and the liner has worsened. I brought it to a tailor and he stated it's from poor construction. The store manager at Zara wouldn't help me at all bc I've worn the coat for even a day. Now I have to pay out of pocket and be without my coat during the winter season. I am very disheartened with Zara. Their store is always a mess, the staff looks bored, or are playing around. I will not recommend this store to anyone I care for. read more

First and foremost, I. LOVE. ZARA. CLOTHES. I buy new stuffs every week, especially when a new collection rolls out. The store is always clean and neat unlike the clothes. I have seen lipstick stain on white shirts, makeup stain on dresses. Now this is not the employees' fault. I'm just writing so people can be more careful when trying out some clothes. Some items look like they have been trembled on even. The reason for the two stars is the dirty, torn items are put on the racks the next day. I pointed out the giant tear in a dress the other day and the very next day, the dress WITH THE TEAR is back on rack. I noticed the same items with stain and dirt being back, too. Employees's attitude is snotty, cold, and unwelcome a lot of times. Maybe because they are understaffed but they would look at customers with their cold face. It looks like they really really hate their jobs. I understand retail is not a pleasant industry but it's their job to create a more welcome atmosphere. I am shook when I point out the tear of the dress and an employee just gave a cold look and said:"so you don't want that dress?". Of course I don't, it's torn ! I love ZARA style, ZARA fashion but I haven't been to single store in my area that I don't feel like I'm not welcomed. ZARA is not Nordstrom, they don't sell Mason Valentino, that customer service is not fitting at all. read more

The dressing rooms are closed more than open. Zara sizing is a all over the board. Sometimes a small fits and and xl is too small. Trying things on is ESSENTIAL. The only point in physically going into a store is to try things on. It's part of the in-person shopping experience. I use to love Zara but this is enough to make me not want to go anymore. Disappointing. read more

I give it two stars for the clothing and style. But the staff are unhelpful and ignore you every time. But the worst is the line- it's always ridiculously long and takes at least thirty minutes to go through. Bellevue too. They have a register up in Mens but it's usually closed. I wish they'd take a page from Nordstrom and put customers and their experience first. I've moved to only shopping online. I have to return half what I buy but avoid the crazy lines and can't miss the service I don't get. read more

Nice, two story Zara offering women's, men's and children's apparel and accessories. I was tempted to buy a number of items, including a couple dresses for my daughter, but since my trip concluded in a flight, I settled on just a raincoat for myself. Folks seem very friendly in Seattle, and my Zara experience was no different. In other parts of the country, I feel like I'm an imposition on all Zara employees, but here the sales associate who rang up my transaction was very friendly. read more

The store is big and has lots of options. It is definitely bigger than Bellevue. pros: trendy work clothes and coats - reasonable price -okay quality Cons- employees are not friendly and somewhat gives you the weird look when you ask for size or help -chaotic and busy. They closed down all 3 other registers and only left 1 open so there is a long time to wait when checking out -some sizes are missing and some clothes are not coordinated. Everything was everywhere. I like downtown Bellevue way better. read more

This is not a bad review about any of the stores but the online ordering process. First of all I ordered a topcoat size based on the company's experience with my weight and height and what others had ordered with the same weight and height. The topcoat arrived and was really cute but it's GIANT. So I asked for a return label and returned it. When I called the company to track the return they said they had no record of the tracking number. Then I called the post office and they said that Zara uses a third party for their returns and it's basically a less expensive way for them to go and the package could take weeks to get processed. Meanwhile, I returned another item to an entirely different company and it was processed and put back into my account in just 10 days. This is just good customer service...don't make your customers wait and they'll come back. I shop online exclusively and doubt very much I will purchase anything online from Zara again. The 2 stars are for the style of the coat. If they had a better, more modern approach to their return process I would probably order the coat in a smaller size. Not now. read more

Constantly understaffed, fitting rooms closed, customer experience is not the priority- retagging and getting merch out matters more.

I have bought some nice clothes at Zara before and found a couple of nice jackets today. The sales staff is very spotty though. I don't know what is with White women staff there, they feel the need to be rude and condescending to people of color. The one checking me out behaved like I didn't exist when I was in line and then didn't greet me, didn't bother to fold my jackets just rolled them up and threw them in a bag and was generally pretty offensive. I did give the manager this feedback, apologized but this garbage should not happen in the first place. Bad form, Zara! read more

Woah! It took FOREVER for Zara to make its way to the US... and then even longer for it to come to Seattle. Living in Mexico City as a teenager-young adult, I spent many years shopping at Zara's all over the country. When I came back to the US I was super sad to find that Zara at the time only had one store. And it was all the way over in Miami! ::sad face:: Then many years ago I spotted Zara's in other cities and other states (NY, CA). But now we have one in WA and I was so glad to check it out ASAP. What most shocked me about Zara (having not been in one for at least 10 years) was the prices. They're so affordable! I expected a lot of items, whether they were blouses or sweaters or jeans, to be above the $100 mark. Jeans were about $70, lots of tops were $50-70, and even some jackets were under $80! The heavy coats were between about $120-200. Still reasonable. Instead of just browsing I ended up trying on a number of items and walking out of the store with a lot of great stuff. It's not the largest store I've been in but it's got a great layout and is big enough for a lot of items. It's still a new store so it's a big crowded. I found myself waiting to look at some racks because a few other people were there looking ahead of me. Oh well! The only trouble I had was finding the dressing rooms. There was an area toward the back that appeared to be a dressing room but when I approached there was no signage labeling it as such. I peeked my head in and there were about 4 employees all with their backs to me. I started thinking maybe it was just a back room because I stood there for about 1 minute before anyone actually helped me. But once someone noticed I had been there I was quickly ushered into a changing room. Everyone was nice, the clothes were awesome, and again ... the prices are incredibly reasonable. Much cheaper than other stores nearby: Anthropologie, Allsaints, etc. I'd say they're between the prices of Gap and Banana Republic, but more stylish! read more

The store has plenty of items with two floors. I like to come here because it is convenient but I don't like to come here because the workers are very snobby and rude. It is not a welcoming environment at all. I was in the process of making a return and the male associate seemed very irritated for no apparent reason and curtly asked if anything was wrong with the item. I did not appreciate his tone and attitude. I will ask for another associate to assist me if i see him again! read more

I've never lived in a city with a Zara store. I've ordered two winter coats for under $300 (combined) from Zara when I lived in Cleveland and I still love them. And for that price? Yep. So, you can imagine my excitement when I moved here and found out there is a Zara within walking distance. YAS. Zara is great for some investment pieces without the investment piece price tag. However, quality and durability has been iffy for me with some pieces. Zara is also REALLY great for trendy pieces you don't want to invest lots of money in. The selection is vast, so expect to spend some time there. Somethings I didn't love: - Not a lot of help around - Missing small sizes in almost everything I wanted. Only M-XL. - The store gets messy, is overwhelming and not easy to shop Otherwise, I love it here. read more

I've shopped in so many Zaras in Europe, NYC, LA. This one is BY FAR the nicest, cleanest and most professional Zara I've ever been to. I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that they just opened, but I still give them major props for customer service. I used to live in NYC, where there were several Zaras that I would regularly shop in. The clothes are always perfect, but the customer service and product display were always a hot mess. I'm always given enough space to wander and shop, but when I need help I always find someone who actually searches for my size / merchandise: I usually stop a sales associate to help me find my size, and they do it on the spot (I don't think I wait more than 2 minutes). If you have been to any other Zara, you can understand how RARE this is. The sales associates who work in this store are polite, helpful, and so friendly. I'm not sure what everyone is complaining about. Clearly, a lot of people have not shopped in different Zaras, and aren't used to the crappy and mean sales associates who work in most of the locations. To all you Zara NOOBS writing bad reviews about this Zara: Look, if you don't understand fashion and clothes and how AMAZING Zara really is...Then maybe you shouldn't shop here if you think it's too expensive, or don't understand what Zara stands for. There's a reason why the clothes cost more money, because you can see the quality is much better than H&M, Target and Forever 21. read more

I went shopping here and it's my favorite store to shop in Seattle. But, Zara is also expensive but they have good customer service but it's also a crapshoot if they are attentive or not. For example, I was walking around the ground floor with a bunch of stuff I wanted to try on but I couldn't hold much more with my gangly arms. I went to ask a sales rep. if I could put the article of clothing in a dressing room. She said no, they already might be full and we reserve those for people who are already in line. Ummmmm, okay. I kept walking with about 10 items in hand and then she suddenly came after me and said that they could put it on hold at the dressing room until I was ready. Sure! Why not? Zara's sizes fit me funny. I can sometimes fit into a small top but mostly only medium. Dresses are wonky too. Other than the typical act of finding a needle in a haystack... Zara is okay. read more

THIS STORE IS THE WORST!!!! I Recently bough $300 worth of clothes from this store for my little boys and being a single father of two I am on a limited budged. After brining the clothes home and having my kids try them on I realized that most of them did not fit. After brining the clothes back to exchange I got some 18 year old "manager" telling me that: I could not exchange the clothes for the right size because I removed the tags! It is absurd that after you give them $300 they can't be more understanding and try to help you t resolve the issue! After contacting corporate office they were no help at all. This is my first ever yelp review and this momentous occasion is simply to share how frustrated I am with the customer service in this zara! If it weren't for the clothes being cheap yet stylish I wouldn't even bother! Clothes wise - they're pretty good. Id give it 3 to 4 stars. They're reasonably priced with very nice simple elegant designs - pieces I enjoy having in my wardrobe. The make and material is pretty decent as well. It has been worth the lack of customer service to just keep going back. With that in mind, it was this rude brunette girl with a silly baby voice that was the tipping point. She's unhelpful and snotty and I swear as a regular shopper the sight of her makes me cringe. At the cash register the whole time she was helping me she made me feel as though I was so much of an inconvenience to deal with - really?! I'm a paying customer! Try to pretend to at least appreciate our business. There are one or two generally pleasant ones but the majority of them obviously need training in etiquette and manners. They dont offer help, they look past you and generally do not engage customers. Recently, they have made me dread shopping there. They have ruined the shopping experience for me. So if management even cares to read these reviews, please pull these particular staff aside and retrain them!!! Might as well have an empty store with robots - at least those will be efficient and not rude! I've spent plenty of money in your store and I'm not going back in a while. I hope next time I visit your staff will have improved! Please visit downtown sephora! You could learn a thing or two from customer service there! read more

ZARA Seattle staff is extremely rude. I had purchased an item and I tossed the receipt that night when I got home. I go to put the shirt on and it stars unraveling by the arm and now has a huge rip. I was so disappointed because the quality of this $40 shirt seemed nice. I had a feeling there wasn't a chance i was going to be able to exchange it because I didn't have a receipt. Anyways the current manager accused me of wearing the shirt that is why I couldn't exchange it not because I didn't have a receipt but she kept repeatedly saying I wore the item when I 100% did not. Her demeanor was absolutely disgusting and I'm never shopping here again. Customer service is just awful not worth my money. read more

Zara's clothes would overrunneth my closets were I two sizes smaller, had a better complexion and perkier breasts. As it stands, the best clothing accessory I've found so far is a brown paper bag over my head. It's cheap, it's relatable, and it will never go out of style. This is the sixth Zara I've ever been to, and the second in North America. Its designs are a refreshing change from the usual drab Seattle polka-dotted-pinstriped-sailor-nautical-backpacker-Xbox Microsoft Rules! motif. Zara's summer collection is a collection of happy flowers, color block patterns geared towards business casual, hip, dance club chic - look at me, I'm young and beautiful and paper bags are for donuts or dog crap, not my head, though I'd look fabulous in a paper bag as well. The best part about Zara is its affordability, quality and selection. Stylish cotton tops, though thin cotton, were below $20. Sharp-looking lined blazers suitable for work or play, $70.00 or less. There are two floors of Zara womanly goodness, and a separate area for men and kids. When I was there at a weekday lunch, there were several sales staff who were pretty hands off, so I was free to browse all the clothes my cursed body will never look good in. One note - while several of the clothes I've purchased at Zara's held up well, I've purchased a pair of dark jeans whose color ran so much I looked like I had hypothermia at the end of the day, as my hands and arms were blue. The color running didn't stop even after repeated washing. Another was a sweater that tore apart at the armpit, forever preventing me from raising my arms on a crowded bus in 100% humidity and 90-degree weather. Thankfully, this is where the paper bag comes in handy. read more

Zara reminds me of the good 'ol days when my girlfriends and I trekked to Vancouver Canada once a month, sometimes more often, to go shopping on Robsen street. Zara is like a more mature version of H&M. If H&M was Kmart, Zara would be Target. If H&M was Denny's , Zara would be Shari's. If H&M was... Well you get the picture. The materials are still fairly flimsy. It may perhaps last a season more than H&M. The two star is not for the clothes. It is for "what were you thinking building only 7 fitting rooms for the size and the popularity of the store?????" I waited half an hour to try on camisoles. read more

Everytime I walk into this store, I only hope to receive somewhat friendly (even if it's phony) customer service. I'm not even expecting good customer service or interactions with employees on the sales floor; just don't be outright rude. I've lowered all expectations of this store because I LOVE Zara's clothes and I spend an inordinate amount of money there. Unfortnately, this Zara location has failed me, yet again. I went into the store to exchange something I bought online for a different size. You'd think an even exchange (same item, different size) would be the easiest type of return/exchange, but, judging by the look on the cashier's face and her horribly RUDE attitude (slamming shit around and her obviously annoyed demeanor), it was not. Sure, the level of ease of my request to exchange an online-purchased item is solely the fault of the company itself and their outdated systems/processes. However, the employee does not need to take this fact out on a customer. So, to you Zara employees: 1) Yes, you work at a somewhat high-end clothing store, but you are NOT Theory or Vince or any of the multitude of even higher-end options out there. 2) Yes, we understand that you get paid a smidge above minimum wage, but that does NOT give you the right to have a holier-than-thou attitude. To Zara's management: A person does not need to try very hard to see that bad customer service is a theme across all Zara's globally, and I'm sure this is a result from bad management at the very top of the company. Even still, NOT an excuse to mistreat and belittle your employees (an attitude that is passed on to customers). As I mentioned in my original review, I worked in retail for 10+ years and, as it is for most people in the industry, it was a means to an end for me (put myself through college). I totally sympathize with you, but carry that attitude into your career after Retail, and you will fail. Miserably. read more

Zara is a good fast fashion store to buy season outfits at a low cost. Is quickly becoming my to go store for shirts, shoes and basic wear. The men section is big and they often have great sales.
