The staff at Labels are friendly and kind. They care about their community AND their business. They know their niche for what sells and, because of space limits, have turned away some pieces of mine knowing their clients wouldn't be looking for them. This cute establishment is bright, clean, organized, and well curated. I absolutely loved the labels they carry, especially Free People! The price point is a bit more than accustomed to, but the quality and condition of the items is outstanding! The customer service was excellent! It's advised to return often as they frequently rotate their inventory as they receive it. This place is very strange. They are very performative making sure to greet you when you walk in and start a dressing room for you if you are holding something, but it's like their customer service has those 2 tricks up their sleeve and that's it. I have been a patron of this establishment since 2021. I have long enjoyed coming here for excellent quality used clothing. I recommended this place to some friends at a party, and was totally embarrassed when one of my friends pulled up the reviews and made me aware that there is now a "no stroller" policy. As a new mom, and as someone whose partner is an anti-discrimination lawyer, I have to say this is a non-sense policy and it is discriminatory. As a store where most of your clientele are female identifying individuals this is a bad look and a poor marketing choice. I will not be having my birthday shopping trip at Labels. Instead I will go to the nice consignment shop down the street that has always welcomed me AND my baby. The customer service here is severely lacking. I have never felt so unwelcome in an establishment merely for having my toddler with me who was not behaving poorly. For a neighborhood as family friendly as phinney ridge, I'm appalled by the treatment I got from the moment I stepped into the store. I've been a loyal customer for a long time but cannot in good conscience support a business that shows contempt for coming in with my child. My favorite consignment store in Seattle! I pretty much always find something (usually too many things) that I want to buy from many good brands and are in great shape. A much better price point than other good quality consignment stores in town and much cheaper (and better for the earth) than shopping for new clothes. The staff are kind, helpful, and not pushy at all. I have successfully sold there many times and enjoy the cycle of selling/buying. Labels is a happy place for me that I have been going since I was an actual child with my mom. Now I meet my best friend there so we can shop together. As a shopper - fun to browse - not too crowded, prices are reasonable. condition varies from new, like new to fair. Shoes are great. Great to have in the neighborhood. Actually ZERO stars, but that's not an option. I will not be stepping foot in this store ever again. I've been in 5-6 times in the past couple of years and bought a couple of items and the person working is always really snotty and rude, but I just chalked it up to them having a bad day and I got a cute item so whatever! Today I took items to consign, I probably had 50 items, mostly Athleta, Lululemon, Blondo booties, Adidas teenies (never worn) etc, all brands they carry regularly and she didn't take a single item and made me feel like trailer trash! I always leave there feeling like a loser so I won't subject myself to it again, guaranteed! I tried to consign 4 bags of NEW clothing and they didn't accept ONE item. I had some DKNY tops with tags on them still. They were definitely professional clothes that fit their "identity". I also had some jeans and jackets of high end brands that they wouldn't take and looked like new. I was embarrassed to ask why so I just a said "oh bummer" and the clerk said "yeah." No explanation or anything. She let me know my "bags were at the door". I was super disappointed. Compared to everything else they had at the store I felt a few of my items would have fit perfectly. read more

I've only ever shopped here, but I enjoyed their selections. They have a good variety of name brand clothing. I liked that they have outwear/winter jackets. They have a small but good variety of dresses, boots, and purses. They also have a kids section as well. I'll definitely be back to check out the selection as the seasons change. read more

Never returning to the store. I went in there this evening and the two ladies at the counter were the most obnoxious and rude salespeople I have ever seen. They did not greet me when I entered, but I don't care for that anyway. However, every time I touched a bag or a sweater, I could feel their eyes on me. I felt really uncomfortable because they were tracking my every move and when I looked at them, they quickly looked away. No help offered to find anything. I realise that it is important to protect the products in the store, but not at the cost of alienating your customers. If I am going to buy something, I will touch the product and see how it feels. At the end of the day, it is just a store with clothes, shoes and bags in it, so please get off of your high horse. The city is full of consignment stores, you are nothing special. Also, the overall collection feels tacky and dated, and everything has a musty smell. read more

The folks who run Labels do a wonderful job of curating the shop for their audience. Beyond their immediate local shoppers, they have an impressive social media presence and go above and beyond managing business via DM's. They go the extra mile to put together outfits where the pieces are all the same size, so could legit be sold as a full ensemble to someone. What's happening? Been crazy going downhill. This last time I literally saw glasses that you get free with a desert from Costco on sale for $8.00 marked as candle holders. Seeing the reviews below make me think some changes have been made here and I can't say enough about this place! My mom and I were in the area and decided to stop in on a whim and left with great finds! We were greeted upon walking in as well as told about the sale rack and to be sure to check that out. They also post on social media so if you need a preview of the goods, there you have it! The staff here are very friendly and the items on the racks are all in great shape. Sometimes with consignment you get that weird 'old' smell in the store or on the clothes, not here! They have a really decent mix of labels from mid to high end all at really reasonable prices. While they have a lot of inventory there's still room to move and all of it in very decent shape. I ended up finding a few items from Cloth&stone as well as Patagonia (both under $40!) and left pleasantly surprised! My mom ended up with a haul as well and we will sure be adding this to the agenda each time she visits. What a cute consignment store that is conveniently next to the 5 Bus stop. The store is not that big but it is stuffed to the brim with clothing, shoes, and accessories. I definitely saw quite a few Dooney and Bourke and Coach bags in the stash, and they were pretty reasonable (around $30-$50 for wallets and leather bags). I even saw a vintage Bottega Veneta crossbody but I wasn't sure of the authenticity, so I didn't buy it. It was still only at $68, which was pretty awesome. I did see some Jimmy Choos and Manolos for around $60-$70 each, which was pretty neat. I didn't expect to see too many higher end labels here since most of the items here come from Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Gap, Target, Chaps by Ralph Lauren, etc. The clothes seem reasonably priced. Most BR skirts I saw were $25 or so, to give you an idea. They also sort by size, which is nice. That means I don't have to waste too much time on one section trying to find all the 0-4. I'd definitely be back if I am around the Seattle area again. read more

I consigned here for several years and frequently had questions about the math around my payments. The last straw was bringing in a designer shift (at owner's request) which - per a staff member - didn't sell and was "donated". While donations are consistent with their policy, the explanation seemed off given the owner's enthusiasm for the piece. I won't be back. read more

Excellent curation of nice clothing. There were some really unique and well-made pieces. One of the best shoe collections I've seen, and they had an interesting array of jewelry, hats, purses, sunglasses, etc. I really enjoyed my experience shopping here. Hi there... So as a man I came in here and was looking at clothes with my girlfriend, so she could try on things and I could tell her my opinion. As usual. Everything was great until I saw an extra large pair of snow pants that might fit me!! I was happy!! Finally the pants I was looking for for our road trip to Utah to play in the snow!! As I was trying it on the lady who worked there burst into the small dressing room and exclaimed that men weren't allowed to try on clothes!! And asked me to take it off!! She said it was the owners rules because of other women... It was strange and no one else was even in the store... It was kinda offending. Especially in a hip neighbor hood. I used to be head over heels for Labels. They were easy to schedule a consignment appointment with, took lots of my clothes and in exchange I'd put that money back to the store by buying some clothes. Not sure what made them change, but it's gotten too difficult to sell clothes to them. You have to make an appointment up to three months in advance, bring in 100 items and they may take 5...what gives?! I always bring in the best of the best in labels and the clothes in perfect quality. So on that note, I'll miss you Labels. read more

As a seller: they definitely don't take just anything and everything. I've had them give back some pretty nice clothes, not sure why - but either way, it's been good experiences as a seller with this store. It seems to get a ton of business because I've sold every piece they've ever taken. Hence the wait to get an appointment to drop clothes off. Make sure you keep that in mind and just call first to set one up. As a buyer: The staff has always been pretty cool and laid back the handful of times I've been in. The selections are always changing and the store is incredibly organized! They have all "labels" from Forever 21 to Seven jeans. I scored and found a HOBO wallet for such a great price on my first visit. I was hooked! That's another thing, prices are AWESOME! For a place called "Labels", I'd think they'd not only have styles relevant to today's standards, but also popular labels. Ok, so they did have Gap and Banana Republic. But, they were also clothes you'd expect to find at their outlet stores or the half-off clearance rack. I feel like the items are more appealing to an older crowd (Chico's). It feels really crowded in there; more than 3 shoppers and you keep bumping into someone. I went in here because this place doesn't bill itself as a vintage store, which it's not. Even though Yelp's categories list it as vintage, from their website they say to only bring in contemporary clothing. But quite honestly, Crossroads will offer cuter and more stylish threads than this store. read more

I absolutely LOVE this shop. The clothes, shoes and accessories they carry are all of the highest quality - basically brand new - but at really reasonable prices. I have to hold myself back when I walk in as I want to get EVERYTHING in the shop. Their Instagram page is also very on point - they create the best outfit combinations - It's inspired me to up my game when it comes to my own personal style. I've shopped at this store and I've had items on consignment with them. The store is run efficiently and the merchandise is varied. The salespeople basically leave you alone until you're ready to buy. There are two dressing rooms, decently sized, with curtain closures. The items are categorized by type, size, and then color within each size. My 15-year old daughter just purchased two skirts, two shirts, and two pairs of earrings for $55. Everything looked new and was stylish. They also have shoes and a wide variety of accessories. Oh, and children's clothing -- although I didn't look at it since I don't have any little ones anymore. The only reason this store is four stars and not five is because it can get pretty crowded and difficult to move through the racks without bumping into other shoppers and parking can be a challenge. read more
