I spent about 45 minutes here shopping and perusing through their selection of men's clothing. Not once did any employee offer to help me, get a fitting room started or anything. While I was trying on clothes in the fitting room I heard two employees speaking rudely, right outside of my room, about another costumer that was out on the floor. Once I decided what all I was going to purchase and was exiting the fitting room, finally an employee came over but only to tell me that the register in the Male section of the store wasn't being used and that I would have to walk across to the women's section to make my purchase. Once I arrived at the women's check out station, the cashier who checked me out did a great job. She was kind and personable and enjoyable to be around. The employees working in the men's section were impersonal, rude and basically ignored me while I was shopping. Not going to be able to continue going to Zara Bellevue location, because the staff is really interested in not giving great customer service...they literally aren't even trying. I went in to grab an outfit for a concert, got there choose a nice black mid length dress...went to pay for it waited in line and then I realized I got the wrong size. The dress was literally next to the register and I told the cashier I wanted a bigger size and to give me a minute...he said "ummm..k" ...next then proceeded to help another woman who was returning three bags full of clothes. The line was so long already and they were under-staffed and he passed me then told the woman to wait and proceed to help the people who were behind the woman then rudely told me to go to the men's department to get checked out. I'm not mad that they were under staffed, or that they obviously didn't know order of operations... I was more pissed at the shear fact that this guy had ZERO customer service skills. Like I felt like I was being rung up by Fucking Daria or Napoleon Dynamite. F that. I wasted time...but I didn't waste money left that cute dress and went to Nordstrom read more

Zara is a great place to get unique, trendy items. Sara Liddell is my style QUEEN! I specifically scout her out when I'm on the hunt for something new! She knows the store like the back of her hand so I waste no time when browsing. She throws me ideas and helps me put everything together beautifully. After waiting in Zara's line for about 30 minutes to pick up an online order and make a return, I finally made it to the counter. The clerk then unapologetically told me I needed to pick up my package from the kids department of the store (there were no signs posted explaining this). When I reached the kids department, the clerk there unapologetically told me his register was closing and I'd have to go back into the crazy long line his colleague just sent me away from. He had zero regard for the length of time I'd waited and the fact that his colleague sent me to a closed register. Fortunately, another worker came over to assist me with my pickup and return, but then that's when we ran into another problem. The worker scanning my email pulled up two other customers' orders, for some reason, and it took some time to clear up the mixup in their system. When we finally found my package and made the return at the register, I received no visual confirmation or receipt of what was specifically returned nor the amount I was being refunded. Even the clerk had no way of seeing the amount of my return from her end. There was 7 people in line today at the store, 2 registers open and at least 6 employees on the floor. Manager was rude when I asked for another register to open. Ugh this mall is full of the most unmotivated employees and Zara Man is no different. I came in to do a return and started at the women's checkout. The ladies there were overwhelmed with the line and told everyone there was no line at the men's section, so a few of us walked down to that checkout area. The girl who got there before me was returning two items and purchasing one. The guy stared at the clothes for a long time as if he was trying to determine if they had been worn - they were very wrinkly and had it been me I wouldn't have needed that long to determine if I was going to allow the return or not, but that's just me. He looked like his mind was elsewhere as he put a security tag on the first item and then 5 minutes later the second item. Not sure what was going on with him but he finally finished her transaction and got to my online return. This was easy and straightforward so a couple of scans with the scanner and a few minutes later I was finally out of there. Next time I'll just stay in the women's line. read more

This review is for Sara! Went into Zara last week looking for a nice, simple outfit for an event. I'm not the best at styling myself so I asked An employee for some help. She was super sweet and extremely helpful! I left with a whole new wardrobe and had a fun with the girl helping me. She was really sweet and encouraging. The tall white girl in the dressing room that worked July 24 around 2:30 pm wearing a black button down and black pants with her brown hair in a bun not only gave my aunt attitude and tried to make her feel dumb when she tried to help out and put the clothes on the unwanted rack in the dressing room. She also almost hit me when she was putting clothes back on the rack like she couldn't have said "excuse me" or anything? She should be fired immediately. I don't know what she's doing here trying to work in the service industry. The asian girls here were super friendly though. Examine your receipt carefully at checkout. A garment I bought was marked 15.95. When I was putting away my purchases at home, I glanced at the receipt and found that I had been charged 22.90 for the item. I had to drive all the way back from Sammamish to Bellevue Square and was told that the 15.95 price was in EUROS! Who in the US marks their stock in euros? Very few people would notice. Even if this was an 'honest' mistake, the conversion factor for euros-to-dollars would not result in a 22.90 price. This is a double scam. When I pointed it out and complained, they refunded the difference but were not apologetic. I wonder how often they get away with this, hoping American shoppers are simply not alert. read more

I've gone into this store location several times and every time I experience an employee who Is so unfriendly and not helpful when asked a product question. It's as if they feel they are doing you a favor by being there. A couple examples: Me at cashier: "hi, good morning" Cashier: "how are you paying, cash credit or debit?" (Not sure why this was asked before ringing up items)? I was looking for a toddler item and no one was in that section so I walked over to woman's to find someone to ask. They told me to go back to the kids section and find someone. I asked an employee if they had any other sizes in the back and they flatly responded "no, this is all we have" front desk then scanned the item and said there were two more on the floor but there was no luck finding them (I was in at store opening so it's not like things were as misplaced as they would be in the afternoon). This place is the most unorganized store. During this pandemic, you would expect all the registers opened to make the lines flow fast. There are always huge lines and you are expected to wait for at least 30 min to pay or return purchases. People don't keep the 6 feet distance because there are so many people standing in line. Always find new great items here! This zara is stocked really well! I suggest going during the week because on weekends the lines are horrible. The staff isn't extremely nice.. (you have to ask for help if you need it, they don't smile at the checkout, don't greet you as you come in) but it doesn't bother me much. Love zara! read more

I was in the fitting room area, and the representative told me to stand outside because there were too many women there. The fitting room area is not for women only! I've been trying to return an item I've NEVER worn. Told me I cant because it was from Canada. Took it back to Canada just to return in I live in washington. They wouldnt return it for me only exchange. Had someone get me a different item and now I'm 112$ in and I was told I can return in the states... but I guess not.. I will probably never shop here. One staff literally screamed at us to put the cloth back on the exact place where we picked it up. Lady, that is your fxing job!! People just stand around like they are so busy when in reality all they are doing is nothing or just chatting it up with other co workers. 3 people are just standing around and there is a line yet you can't go help at the register where there is only 1 person and a floor full of people restocking items. Horrible management. I've been waiting in line in the men's section for 40 minutes and the line is out the door. Plus the fitting room isn't even open so I don't know that I won't have to come back to return this clothing. This is Saturday afternoon, prime time for them and they have virtually no staff here. Time and time again have the worst experiences here. Just as others have said in their review, they do not ever answer their phone and the lines are obscenely long. There will be staff members chatting with each other elsewhere in the store and one person who seems to be working in slow motion at the register. I love Zara for their sales. Clothes selection are good quality and stylish. It could get pretty messy especially during sales and that's understandable. Knocked down 2 stars for my experience last night. The queue was long and they only had 2 cashiers in women's section. Let me tell you, they were moving like sloths. As I got closer, I saw that as the guy was ringing up a lady, the lady apparently didn't want a few shirts and so he proceeded to hang up the shirts in the slowest speed. Finally I don't have to trek to downtown Seattle to shop at Zara! The store is actually split up into 3 different storefronts. The main storefront is women's, then I saw children's and men's on the side. I came in the early morning, when the mall just opened, so it wasn't too busy yet. I have been a Zara lover for a long time - I used to pass a Manhattan store daily on my way home and spent s lot of time and money there. It's one of the things I missed most when I moved to this area. Not anymore! This store is new, big, and clean. It has a fantastic selection for the current season, as well as a really good assortment on sale apparel. Everything is beautifully displayed and organized, and the staff keeps it tidy.
