Always check your orders before you walk away from the counter, many times the cook don't prep the food to your liking or asking and the food baggers tend to forget to pack your food. Management should really spend sometimes training it's cook and baggers.. read more

Their steak is cooked "al carbon" so you get that delicious grill flavor! These tacos are huge and will definitely satisfy your taco needs. I also recommend the taco de Lengua for you adventurous folks and the al pastor for you less adventurous folks. Parking sux but whatevs. read more

Located so conveniently to my house, Zacatacos is a great option when I am in the mood for quick Mexican food. Although it is quite a small restaurant, the kitchen is always working and food is quickly prepared. If you can veer away from the amazing tacos, the tostadas and burritos are really good too. Try the al pastor and you are sure to not be disapppinted. The carne asada and chorizo are really good too. You can sit in the small dining room or get take out which is my preferred option. This used to be Kathy's Hascienda. The food is out of this world. The enchiladas verdes, green encheladas with steak, they were great. The portitions were pretty good, but I needed more. The service was stupid. I called the order in and when I got there I waited another 20 minutes for my food. If you can't handle the lunch rush, then get out of the kitchen. Such a hit or miss at this Berwyn staple. It's always a hit if you're drunk, though! Food is decent, depending on what you order. I'd recommend you stick to chicken or asada for your tacos, tortas, ect. Service is pretty much consistently bad. When you call in an order they never pay attention and always speak Spanglish even though I'm speaking Spanish. Basically, it's good if you're in a rush or want a cheap taco fix. I've seena few of these around the area so I decided to stop by and try some tacos. I ordered 2 al pastor and 2 carne asada with avocado. The tortilla is kind of harsh and not fluffy. The taste of the tortilla isn't as maizey as I'd hope. The avocado had spots of brown and the meat in each taco was only okay. There are much better examples of good tacos and I will try and avoid this place. read more

A small place but don't let that stop you. .. If there are no seats you can have that to go and it will taste just as delicious. Their "gorditas" are gorditas (ha!) And their steak tacos are a definite must try. It is vegetarian friendly with quesadillas and rice and beans. read more

It's great to see a place that through the years continues to serve quality food, but the prices are getting too high. As a person who works in the field I know a few good spots to go for lunch (tortas, tacos, etc) and these people are over charging. I generally agree that you get what you pay for, but this is not a nice spacious place where service is always great, or where they have a reasonable parking lot. my favorite tacos. hands down. i used to go to the one on 59th and pulaski when it was the only location. i've been to all of the locations, and they are consistent. the steak is excellent. my go-to is steak tacos, but i will get a torta from time to time. the steak tacos with cilantro, onions, and cheese is what dreams are made of. their papas taco is also amazing. i also love the red salsa sooo much -- sometimes TOO much. read more

If you haven't eaten here than your clearly confused. Zaca Tacos is amazing. They have a few different locations but i prefer this one. There isn't much parking but don't let that be your deciding factor. Everything is freshly made here giving you that real authentic flavor. The steak tacos come individually wrapped in foil and are always delicious. Their fresh guacamole is a must. If i'm not on my lunch break ill kick back a few cervesas too. read more
