Upon walking in the place was packed with locals (a great sign). Ordered 2 steak tacos and 1 lengua. The steak was great. The lengua was also great and drizzled in a red sauce. I will say the lengua is sliced in larger chunks rather than small bits that I am used to. I was fine with it as the lengua was still good. Salsas were on point. I had placed a phone order, thinking that'd be a smart thing to do. Within waiting for my order for 56 minutes, when I was told 30 minutes, I stepped away to move my car (yo girl was illegally parked). I found parking on the next blocked and came right back. I guess from the time I was gone, they called my order and handed it to someone else. Of course without asking for a copy of the receipt to make sure they were giving the correct order (because it was a big-ol-order). I showed them my receipt after 10 minutes had passed since I returned from relocating my car, and they tell me they gave out the order. I showed them the receipt and they attempted to re-make the order. HOWEVER, that's not why I'm writing this review. In having experience in food service, you come to understand that these things happen. But the woman, who told me she gave the order away, carried herself as if it was my fault. N-O! I don't come here often and when I do it's always a big order, and you would think they would have asked the woman who took my food for a copy of the receipt. When you sit down it takes forever to get your food but when I get my food to go it comes out quickly, that's the reason I get my food to go most of the time. Service was fine and the tacos were good, but expensive. They're large so maybe they're worth $2.75 and I could have done with two instead of three.
