This isn't a pro or con. They also have lots of large circular tables with food turntables on them, so this place is clearly ready for groups ordering a lot of shared dishes. Ordering is via QR-codes, which is quick, and the food comes out hot and fast. We started with the sautéed green beans, which were cooked nicely, still crisp, with a nice flavor from onions and whatever else they added. Good to get your greens, especially when they taste nice. Next to arrive was the cumin lamb. It had cumin flavor, but not much else, and the lamb was a little grainy and stringy. This was okay but could have been better. The herbs were a nice touch. Finally we had crispy shrimp, which were great. Cooked properly and I loved that the shells were included, so you can eat them too. I also liked the size of these, definitely in the two-bit range. The sweet glaze was very subtle, just a little something to make it interesting. I came here on a whim so we didn't preorder Peking duck, and they told us it would be an hour wait to get any. So we declined, but I would like to try it in the future. My friend paid so I'm not sure how expensive this was, but I think it's on the pricey side. Shrimp was worth it, lamb is skippable, duck is TBD. After the food came we didn't really have any waiters coming by to check on us, and we did run out of water. So I wouldn't call the service doting. Parking is not easy, you'll most likely have to walk a few blocks. They take credit cards but don't want to split bills, which is annoying.

UGHHH yes bro fried rice is GOOD i haven't stuffed that in my mouth since like 5 yrs of age. i love the little salty pieces and also the yummy rice and all the oily fish. wonton mein is delicious. super tender beef, bouncy firm noodles, msg laden soup. wontons are too small but cooked well and very flavorful. sugar ball is COLD and sugary and fried. idk it wasn't my thing. it has a custardy dough center that tastes nasty to me also everything is lowkey overpriced but i would say it's generally worth it. Several customers who came in after me had already received their congee and other dishes, while my order still hadn't arrived. The service timing and food quality both need serious improvement. Definitely not the experience I was expecting.

They will ask to see your ID, so make sure you have it with you. We ordered the beef chow fun, which was very tasty, and the egg white and dried scallop fried rice, which was also very yummy. We ordered two different fish dishes because some of us don't eat spicy food. We got the free one prepared non-spicy and ordered another one that was spicy. We also ordered their string beans, which are a must-order for us. The place isn't very spacious, so if you have a large party, you might have to wait longer. The portions are decent and the food tastes good, so there's always a line. I would recommend coming earlier or later, after the lunch-hour rush, if you don't want to wait an hour. This place is inside a mall, so there is plenty of parking.

Terrible customer service!!!…read more Very disappointed with the terrible customer service. After I declined the $0.15 plastic bag charge, the cashier ( glass wearing guy) became visibly annoyed. When I questioned why a piece of BBQ pork appeared to be included with my soy sauce chicken takeout, he became angry, yelled at me, and handed me chopsticks to find it myself. His behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. The food was also disappointing. I will not be returning. I hope management takes this complaint seriously.

So I recommend going for dinner. The must-get is the sweet and sour pork. It's perfectly evenly fried, super chewy and crispy outer layer, and a thin pork layer. The sauce is sweet and tangy. Another delicious dish is the BBQ green beans. The mushrooms are super juicy and the cumin goes surprisingly well with the green beans. Their other dishes that I like are: beef fried rice and the dumplings! They also have a frozen section for frozen buns and frozen dumplings. Overall I would come back!

One of the biggest surprises was the sweet and sour pork, which ended up being one of my favorite dishes of the meal. I usually load up on carbs, but this visit was all about the protein and there was no shortage of options. The portion sizes are absolutely massive, which always wins me over. They have just about every organ meat you could ask for, and I liked that all the sides and meats are displayed clearly if you want to order by the pound instead of from the menu. Service was fast and friendly. Now I just need to recruit a bigger group so we can come back, order family style, and work our way through more of the menu.

But I'm not upset at all about this impromptu decision as we had a great meal here. Our table of 6 ordered a variety of dishes and everything was delicious. the most notable items for me were the spicy wontons and fish in chili oil. The dishes were spicy but not so much so that you couldn't enjoy the actual flavors of the dish. For those that like the Szechuan tingling feeling, the chicken in explosive chilis was also quite good. We had also given the string beans, green onion pancake, and pork and shrimp dumplings a shot and all of them hit the spot. I'm usually a huge fan of braised beef noodle soup so decided to get that here too. It wasn't the same as if I had gotten this dish at a Taiwanese restaurant; compared to the strong flavors of the other dishes, this one was pretty mild. So it's something I would skip next time I come, but every other dish was on point. Our waitress was also great at taking care of us, bring out our food quickly and helping us to clear the other plates. Even after we finished our meal and overstayed our welcome by continuing to chat, the staff didn't make us feel rushed to leave.

Like I know they made it, but it tasted like a bad canned version of hot and sour soup. Basil eggplant with chicken and shrimp was very very very greasy. Couldn't really taste any flavors except for a lot of salt and soy sauce and of course tons of oil. Shrimp were big though. Sweet and sour chicken was hot and fresh and decent and so was the chow mein for the upcharge which I think was worth it. Appetizer combo with eggrolls, fried wonton, crab roll, and tempura shrimp was the worst. The eggroll had some taro and veggies in it but really no flavor. The tempura was straight out of the box from Grocery Outlet, and the fake crab rolls had very few imitation crab and too much cream cheese. It was a huge 1 out of 10 for us. I would skip the appetizers that I mentioned completely. Not worth the $13. Overall this reminds me of when you're running to catch your flight at the airport and want something quick and easy, but not necessarily great or good. I can't see myself returning since there are so many other Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area.
