    Shrimp Pho.

Pho Orchid in Metairie is my usual go-to for Shrimp Pho. Because this place is new and near home I gave it a try. Ordered the Shrimp Pho and it was delicious but the vegetable bag was a bit skimp. When I ordered by phone I was told 15mins. Waited for almost 40 minutes inside restaurant and was met with an attitude by staff when I asked what's the hold up. I'll circle back I guess but work on that customer service please. Overall clean restaurant and decent pho for the price.

This is a new restaurant and honestly, they are offloading a great start. The ambiance was pleasant enough and the service was friendly. I went with the pho.phone. I found it very good. I would definitely recommend here.

For their first day open, they're off to a solid start. That said, my to-go order took about 40 minutes. One caveat to my rating: most of what I ordered was fried, and steam is the enemy of crispiness. With that in mind: * Golden Wings (7/10): Six per order at $7.00. Great value with a beautiful golden color, though they could use a bit more seasoning. * Korean Wings (7/10): Flavorful sauce, but the texture turned soggy in the container. * Crab Rangoon (8/10): Perfectly crispy outside and creamy inside--but does anyone add actual crab anymore? * Shrimp Fried Rice (8/10): Moist, flavorful rice with sautéed onions that added a nice touch. My wife's favorite dish of the order. * Bang Bang Shrimp (8/10): Tasty, but again, soggy from steam. * Limeade (9/10): Fresh-squeezed, with just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, some strong flavors and good portions. My wife only really enjoyed the shrimp, but with time (and maybe a few tweaks for takeout), this place could become a go-to spot.

Food was amazing! Service was amazing! Basic ambiance, but clean and worthy to sit and relax. I loved my pho brisket with the pork belly boa buns. If you're one of those people that want to find the "good pho spot" go here.

The pho broth was flavorful and the meat tender. Noodles were cooked perfectly and just the right amount of accompaniments. Extra points for packing all the sauces. I ordered my food to go but got an opportunity to experience the in house wait staff. I ended of having a slight coughing spell and the rushed o er with a glass of water and allowed me to sit down at an empty table. I can t wait to go back and eat in person. Ohh and I also ordered the shrimp and pork belly spring rolls and the peanut sauce that came with it was so delicious. The inside was clean and intimate. A TV and a nice bar area for ordering Togo. I love this for Gentilly and will be back!

Ive been wanting to try this place out after a coworker raved about it. Its not too far from my house which made it the perfect spot to check out Mardi Gras day when I was sick and wanting hot soup! I ordered online and my husband picked up but food was ready on arrival and everything was as ordered. I had the chicken pho which was so good. The broth was perfectly seasoned only thing I added wash the herbs and sriracha because I love heat. I also tried the lemon grass tofu which I probably wouldn't get again. The tofu was cut in a huge chunks and while the lemon grass seasoning had a great flavor the middle parts of the tofu was tasteless. This would be better if the tofu were sliced and fried thinner. I would try the lemongrass wings next time. I also tried the golden wings which is typical fried wing (think party wings in NOLA), great size and flavor. My favorite pho spot recently closed so I'm happy to have found a new spot so close to home. If you're in Gentilly definitely check this place out and even if you're not I'd say it's worth the drive.

We drove in from Lafayette just to try this place, and my oh my, it did not disappoint! The pho was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and comfort in every bite. The Korean fried chicken was just as amazing--crispy, juicy, and so good! We will definitely be back.

The restaurant was packed, and the staff was moving nonstop--but what really stood out was how smoothly everything was handled despite how busy it was. The food? Easily a 10/10. The chicken had that perfect balance--crispy and slightly spicy on the outside, yet unbelievably juicy and tender on the inside. You can tell real care goes into it. The greens were cooked just right with a subtle hint of spice that gave them great flavor, and the slaw had a light sweetness that complemented everything perfectly. Service was just as impressive. My server, Tashena, was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing without missing a beat, even in the rush. You could tell she genuinely cared about the experience. I also have to shout out the manager, Whitney. She was incredibly uplifting, constantly cheering on her team and keeping the energy positive and motivated. That kind of leadership really shows in the overall experience. Between the food, the service, and the atmosphere, I can confidently say this is a 1000/10 recommend. I'll definitely be back

Recently, I was craving a roast beef poboy and walked over to try theirs. It was outstanding. It came dressed with pickled purple onions and horseradish cream sauce. That, with some seasoned fries, was a great meal. I love that they partner with Dong Phuong for their bread and they use Blue Plate mayo. I've seen the Dong Phuong truck dropping off bread and king cakes so I know they're 100% keeping it local. Service can be a little slow but everything is made to order.

There is both covered and exposed seating, however all of the seating is beneath the canopy of an elder oak tree. The landscaping is carefully homegrown with beautiful greenery and pretty flowering shrubs to greet you upon arrival. There's also a stage where you can enjoy live music. Once inside, you're greeted by welcoming staff who are proud of what they serve. The interior is modest, with nice rustic carpentry. Bourrée is to Boucherie as Cochon Butcher is to Cochon. It's a wing and daiquiri spot, but the wings are natural (read: smaller than the hormonal wings we're used to) and the daiquiris are dry, just the way I like them. Mr. Tea is my favorite of their daiquiris because sugar isn't the first thing I taste, instead I'm actually getting that antioxidental brewed tea flavor. Never thought I'd want that from a daiquiri, but as it turns out, I do. Their fries are some of my favorite in the city: shoestringy with crispy ends, the skin still on, salty, and plentiful. We also love their version of fried Brussels sprouts which taste of maple-citrus with bites of Tasso mixed in for good measure. My only gripe was with the jerk wings which didn't taste of jerk, just spicy. And if I'm being honest, the wings aren't the best of what they offer. They make everything in house with quality standards as high as Boucherie.
