Okay first of all I live round the corner from like leaf! This place is the absolute best Thai food in the city I am convinced. Truly, the service is amazing and the ambiance is amazing. A very nice setting and never crowded. Took my love with me and he and I couldn't get enough. Truly 10000/10 and go often. The drunken noodles the best I've ever had their curry flavor is amazing I could go spicier but was not shy on flavor at all! Their Thai tea they've perfected it. Definitely a fan of this small location. Service again, the gentleman who always helps he is courteous, makes great suggestions, and is so happy all of the time! Love it here!

Roti with a curry sauce- delicious

We dropped in for a dinner on a Thursday night. The place was buzzing with activity and we were greeted quickly. Order a bottle of wine (choices aren't great but acceptable) and you can bring your own wine for a $15 corking fee which is fair. All 3 of us LOVED our dinner - my husband said it was the best pad Thai he has had... my friend and i both had massaman curry (one chicken and one tofu) which was perfectly seasoned and piping hot... I would like to note that i ordered tofu massaman... i intended to just substitute the chicken for the tofu but when it came out there were lots of vegetables... in my tofu curry. Our waitress, Naomi, recognized right away that i was disappointed and immediately talked to her boss Patrick and the insisted that a new one be made right away... and it was... it was SOOOO good... we will be back - great food and wonderful management!!! It does matter!! Thank you!

We dined here on a Friday night. We were greeted by smiling faces and seated right away. We did not have a reservation, but the later it got, this place got really packed. Plus, the parking is a little cray cray out there too, so I would suggest getting here early or if they do make reservations do that if planning on coming here on a Friday or Saturday night. I have been working my way through the city eating at Thai restaurants and this one is one of top gems in our city. It used to be Mama Thai and unfortunately, I never got to taste her food. But I am here now and am loving Lime Leaf Thai! For apps, I tried my first Tom Yum, I heard they make a good one. Well considering it my first Tom Yum and have nothing to compare it to, I think it was fantastic! I am still thinking about that soupe, especially every time a cold front blow through. My hubby had the won ton soup, that was tasty, but not yum like Tom Yum. Next, I saw the specials and it all looks really good. Especially all the scallops. I ended up not doing any of the specials as difficult of a decision as that was and ordered the pad kee moa. I thoroughly loved the flavors and I made it a little spicier. The manager, Patrick, stopped by to check on us and I told him how torn I was with the specials and he said if I wanted scallops, I could have had them added to my pad kee mao. Very accommodating and very kind. I told him about my Thai Journey and how much fun it has been trying all these restaurants and that I found Thai Leaf to be of the best out here and he was proud to hear that. Keep doing what yall are doing! We will be back!

Great place to grab Thai food on a Saturday night with friends. Started with an order of spring rolls and roti. Love the red curry sauce that accompanies the roti. Perfect for dipping. Our table ordered a variety of soups and curries. Favorites included the Tom Ka Gai soup. Chicken and coconut milk broth with Thai herbs. So warm and comforting. The red curry can be ordered with tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp or a combo of chicken and shrimp. The red curry sauce, combined with coconut milk, bamboo shoots, carrots, bell peppers, and basil is so delicious. The Khao Soi was so rich. Is it a soup or is it a curry? The coconut curry broth soup is filled with so much flavor. The rich soup comes with sliced chicken, a chicken drumstick, crispy and soft egg noodles, fried onions, mustard greens, and Thai herbs. Love the crunch of the dried noodles mixed with the broth. So unique and so yummy. Add a Thai iced tea. So refreshing. The owner came to check on us multiple times. My friends know him, but they say he also checks on patrons that he doesn't know frequently. A really nice place to have dinner with family or friends.

I really enjoyed this Bucktown Thai experience! There's ample seating and a sort of dim, natural light feel. The wait staff and (who I assume to be) the manager or owner were super attentive to our table of 5. We went during lunchtime, and I love that they give a complimentary lunch salad with ginger dressing. Also, the lunch portion entrees were HUGE! I was impressed. I got the pad woon sen, and it was yummy...it was glass noodles in a light, sweet-savory sauce with veggies and protein of your choice. Def a nice switch up from my usual pad Thai or drunken noodles at Thai spots. I highly recommend them for a lunch or dinner visit!

This restaurant is always amazing. I haven't been able to visit in some time and had an opportunity to partake last night so I did a Togo order. I ordered my usual spicy basil beef stir-fry and the tuna tower. Both were delicious (I ordered the spicy basil med-hot and it was packing a punch last night) be careful what you ask for. lol. The Tuna tower was also delicious only complaint I had with the meal was the chips were over fried and greasy compared to normal for the tuna tower. Lastly and the reason I dropped 1 star is because they put the served cold tuna tower in the same bag, on top of the hot stir fry and under the hot rice container. Had I left it like that for my drive home it would have been a disgusting half heated mess. Thankfully before even walking out of the restaurant I opened the bag and took it out. Just wish they would think about packaging to ensure the best quality on arrival for Togo orders. Sorry I forgot to grab photos but my previous photos are still current as to amazing looks and flavor. I will continue to enjoy meals here and highly recommend.

    Tuna Tower

Loved our lunch today at Lime Leaf. We had the Vegetable Spring Rolls, Fried Calamari, Garlic Broccoli Stir Fry with Beef, Pad Thai, and Drunken Noodle. My lunch was the Tuna Tower that was AMAZING!! Highly recommend and we will be back.

I need to eradicate the post-Jazz Fest funk. Can't imagine a better combo than jasmine tea, roti and won ton soup. Now only if they added garlic to the roti mmmmmm!

Lime Leaf Thai Eatery is a super cute establishment. One of the first things I noticed was that they were playing a WNBA game. I really appreciate it that they were supporting women's sports. After a while, they switched over to the soccer game which also is my second love so that was amazing too. The food was a delight. The owner was very attentive. He came over a couple of times to see how we were doing and even did some minute adjustments to the table to make sure that it was comfortable for everyone. The seafood was incredibly fresh. The tofu was really solid and on top of that, quantity of appetizers we ordered plus the quantity of dishes really highlights how quality the menu is because it didn't feel like we were repeating any proteins or any flavor families. Really high-quality Thai food. Definitely something to check out if you're in the Metairie area.

The drunken noodles were super flavorful on their own, and they definitely weren't kidding about the spice level. We ordered level 4 spicy and they actually added real Thai chilies into the noodles. But the real star of the meal was the dessert. The sticky rice was sweet, soft, and warm, and the coconut milk on the side made it good enough to eat by itself. Pairing it with the ube ice cream just took it to another level -- the mix of warm and cold together was so good. I've never had sticky rice with ube ice cream before, but honestly it might be something I start ordering from now on. Our server was really nice and patient, especially since it took me awhile to decide what I wanted to order. I also didn't go during rush hour, so the service was quick and smooth. The spice level is true to their scale too, so pick wisely lol Service is prompt and food came out piping hot which was nice to have it fresh. Honestly, I had low expectations given that Asian cuisine isn't really maintream in New Orleans, but to my surprise, everything was bursting with flavor! Some dishes better than ones we've had back home in the Bay. Parking can be difficult as it is on a main busy street. There's a lot of people outside because there's a neighboring bar. Didn't get to try their dessert because they didn't have mango. I'd definitely recommend this spot especially if you're looking for something different.

The restaurant sets off cute date or special event night vibes with its trendy, inviting atmosphere. I love how the bar and main dining area are separated- you can either dine at the tables or go next door to hang out for drinks. We stopped by for a late lunch and were greeted warmly by our sweet waitress Mikayla. She was very helpful and patient with any questions we had with items on the menu. Service was stellar A+++ !!! Now onto the incredible FOOD: Bo Ne - filet mignon steak cubes & eggs (10/10): When an entree comes out sizzling & the aroma wakes you up- you know it has to be AMAZINGLY FLAVORFUL & FANTASTIC! Spread the butter & pate on the toasted bread, then use it to soak up all the INCREDIBLE flavor explosion from the sizzling steak & eggs!!! *VOILA chef's kiss* (side note: I grew up in Houston & had Bo Ne fairly regularly & I honestly think Ba Chi elevates this dish to another realm!!!) Curry clams & fries (10/10): I was worried I wouldn't like it because I wanted mussels, which were unavailable. To my surprise, this dish was another great hit !!! The yellow curry flavors were unique - a bit of heat & spice but not overwhelming. Next time, I would ask for the fries to be served on the side so that they stay crispy! We really wanted to slurp down a gallon of the curry- it really was THAT good! Pro tip: get a side of vermicelli noodles (or rice), mix it with the leftover curry & proceed to gobble it all up if you have room left in your tummy! Spicy lemongrass chicken wings (8/10): These were good-sized wings that packed a little punch with the spice! We enjoyed the spicy lemongrass flavor of the crispy wings (be aware that not everyone has a palate for lemongrass- they have other flavors available for those less adventurous eaters). DRINK: Dragon Slay-Her: what a gorgeous & beautiful drink - the dragon fruit margarita was a specialty cocktail I've never had before and I LOVED IT !!! (10/10) Their espresso martini with ube foam is another popular cocktail & I look forward to trying it on my next visit! TL; DR: If you're wanting to FIRE UP and add some PIZAZZ & all that jazz to your fabulous foodie life, then make lunch/dinner/drink plans for Ba Chi! You'll have the best dining experience there with quality food and top notch service! We LOVEDDD & enjoyed our dining experience today!
