I tried Thai Mint because I wanted something that was not fast food and not too expensive. I walked in about 30 minutes before they closed for lunch. There is bar seating and there are many tables. I ordered the beef red curry. Before my entree came out, I was given a bowl of soup and a spring roll. The hot and sour soup was a 10/10! The curry had hints of coconut milk and a little bit of spice. My total was less than $16 w/ gratuity. Awesome place for lunch!

service is consistently casual and quick. classic unpretentious thai restaurant that you can grab an easy dinner and drinks with a friend. the food was good. the pad kee mao tasted like a quick stir fry. i think the recipe might be slightly inconsistent. i went in december and thought it was the best pad kee mao. then i went this april and thought it was good but not the best. they have apple pay

I went to Thai Mint for lunch with two of mentees. There was only one other table occupied, but the staff was cranking out to go orders, so I took that as a sign of quality food. Being that were were one of two tables, the service was fast and attentive. Our server offered to accommodate me when I said to make my curry "as spicy as they could." He checked in and offered to have it remade it if wasn't to my liking. I enjoyed it, but there could have been just a bit more chicken. My mentees enjoyed their fried rice even though the shrimp was imported. We ordered the lunch specials which came with soup and a spring roll. The price point was great for the amount of food we received. I paid under 50.00 for the three us. My mentees ordered sprite and it came in 20 oz bottles. They were glad to be able to take the drinks home, but I was concerned about plastic waste. My main issue was that it smelled a bit stale in the building.

How have I never been here before? I had lunch at Thai Mint today and here's how it went.: I was greeted immediately and shown to my table. The menu I was given was chock full of very reasonably priced lunch dishes complete with all of the Thai favorites you'd hope to find. I went with the chicken pad Thai lunch portion and it was fantastic! I had no idea that my lunch would come with a fried spring roll and soup. Both were delicious. All of that for 8.95! From the service to the food, there wasn't a misstep. Everything was great and I know I'll be returning very soon.

Such a neighborhood gem. Fresh delicious Thai food with reasonable prices! I mean, their lunch specials are 10-13 dollars and come with cup rich hot soup and egg roll. Deal. So many options and they let you make adjustments- I like my PadKeeMao no bell pepper, extra broccoli, and they make it perfectly every time. I also really like their wonton soup- clear flavorful broth with bok Choi and plump shrimp dumplings. In my experience, it's the perfect food for recovering from illness- be it infectious or hangover:) The service is attentive and unfailingly kind. We have come for dinner too and the portions are huge! I always have leftovers. When it's crowded it can get kinda loud, but usually I find it cozy and welcoming. Thanks Thai mint for all the tasty food:)

So excited to have tried this palace. We live down the street and decided to come try it out. It was very casual cute inside. The staff was very nice and helpful to make a decision on what to order. It was our first time and we never heard of certain things in the menu. We decided to try out something different compared to what we always try when we eat Thai. We tired the pineapple chicken fried rice and the red curry. Loved it all we will be back and also reasonable prices. Follow my page on Instagram for more food inspiration at eatingwithbrit.

Great little lunch place! We all ordered from the lunch menu which came with a cup of hot & sour soup and a crunchy spring roll. Both delish. I ordered the eggplant Basil stir fry and flavors were spot on. Red curry was rich & delicious. They say both dishes have a little heat but they don't so tell them extra hot if you want any spice at all. Great service too. Would definitely go here again.

Such a great Thai spot! Found this on Instagram through a food account I follow and knew I had to try it. We placed a take out order for Chicken Pad Thai. It was ready in 15 minutes just as promised and the take out process was seamless! Like Thai places usually go, you get a ton of food with each order. My partner and I shared 1 order of pad Thai and still had leftovers afterwards! If you're like me and you need some slice in your life, make sure to ask when placing your order! I can't wait to go back and try some other dishes.

Very friendly service with good food. The lunch rush is quite busy, but the dinner service is usually pretty laid-back.

With that out of the way, choosing tofu as the protein opens up almost the entire menu, very nice. We had Pad Thai, Pad Cha stir fry, and tofu soup. All were very well seasoned and outstanding. We ate at the sidewalk seating on a glorious evening. Not much more to say. Order at the counter, get a number, find a table, food will be delivered and the table cleared. When we arrived there was a line out the door (maybe 20-25 yards); this line was constant from the time we arrived til we departed. It moved reasonably well and it appeared many of the people knew each other. People visiting other tables, probably more than any restaurant I've ever been at. Definitely would return.

As people who always enjoy a really good Thai meal, we were skeptical about Asian food in New Orleans, but oh my gosh, this place is phenomenal. The restaurant is ran by a couple who are amazing. There are so many things on the menu and she seems to have mastered all the ones we tried. The pad kee mao is cooked and seasoned just right. The noodles were not over again, perfectly held together. I'd describe it as basic Thai food, but honestly basic Thai food is still great when it's done right lol. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. It wasn't trying too hard or overly complicated -- just solid Thai food that hits the spot. Service: Service was smooth and friendly. My order was ready in a reasonable amount of time, and the staff made the pickup process easy with no issues. Ambiance: Even though I got takeout, the inside looked nice from what I could see. The restaurant had a clean and relaxed atmosphere with a cool casual vibe to it. Overall: Good Catch Thai Bistro delivered solid food, friendly service, and a clean environment. Nothing overly fancy, but sometimes simple and well-made is exactly what you want. Definitely a good spot if you're in the mood for reliable Thai food.
