Our friends from New Orleans took us to this place on the last night of our visit. The entire week we had been eating Cajun food so we wanted to try different cuisine. I am glad we tried this place. We absolutely crushed it. For 5 of us, we initially thought we ordered a lot. But all these delicious food did not last. For apps, we ordered steamed dumplings and hot and sour soup. Absolutely delicious! For entrees we ordered a ton - cashew shrimp, massamam curry, spicy pork fried rice, chicken fried rice and chicken noodles. Except for the noodles, everything was very good. If I had to pick one, I would absolutely order the massamam curry again. Spicy pork fried could have been spicier. Great service and ambiance as well. Highly recommend it.

Well! I have found my new Thai cuisine fav in New Orleans. Firstly, the ambiance is very relaxed and can be casual or you can dress up if you want for dinner. The place will accommodate both. Now for the food, I ordered the egg rolls and the Tom Ka (small) for starters. Stop! I was already full with just these two items. But wait..... there's more..... I ordered the Pineapple Fried rice..... with shrimp. Oh it was so so good. Remember to support the local eateries, it's a love fest is what they serve..

I tried Thai Mint because I wanted something that was not fast food and not too expensive. I walked in about 30 minutes before they closed for lunch. There is bar seating and there are many tables. I ordered the beef red curry. Before my entree came out, I was given a bowl of soup and a spring roll. The hot and sour soup was a 10/10! The curry had hints of coconut milk and a little bit of spice. My total was less than $16 w/ gratuity. Awesome place for lunch!

service is consistently casual and quick. classic unpretentious thai restaurant that you can grab an easy dinner and drinks with a friend. the food was good. the pad kee mao tasted like a quick stir fry. i think the recipe might be slightly inconsistent. i went in december and thought it was the best pad kee mao. then i went this april and thought it was good but not the best. they have apple pay

I went to Thai Mint for lunch with two of mentees. There was only one other table occupied, but the staff was cranking out to go orders, so I took that as a sign of quality food. Being that were were one of two tables, the service was fast and attentive. Our server offered to accommodate me when I said to make my curry "as spicy as they could." He checked in and offered to have it remade it if wasn't to my liking. I enjoyed it, but there could have been just a bit more chicken. My mentees enjoyed their fried rice even though the shrimp was imported. We ordered the lunch specials which came with soup and a spring roll. The price point was great for the amount of food we received. I paid under 50.00 for the three us. My mentees ordered sprite and it came in 20 oz bottles. They were glad to be able to take the drinks home, but I was concerned about plastic waste. My main issue was that it smelled a bit stale in the building.

How have I never been here before? I had lunch at Thai Mint today and here's how it went.: I was greeted immediately and shown to my table. The menu I was given was chock full of very reasonably priced lunch dishes complete with all of the Thai favorites you'd hope to find. I went with the chicken pad Thai lunch portion and it was fantastic! I had no idea that my lunch would come with a fried spring roll and soup. Both were delicious. All of that for 8.95! From the service to the food, there wasn't a misstep. Everything was great and I know I'll be returning very soon.

Such a neighborhood gem. Fresh delicious Thai food with reasonable prices! I mean, their lunch specials are 10-13 dollars and come with cup rich hot soup and egg roll. Deal. So many options and they let you make adjustments- I like my PadKeeMao no bell pepper, extra broccoli, and they make it perfectly every time. I also really like their wonton soup- clear flavorful broth with bok Choi and plump shrimp dumplings. In my experience, it's the perfect food for recovering from illness- be it infectious or hangover:) The service is attentive and unfailingly kind. We have come for dinner too and the portions are huge! I always have leftovers. When it's crowded it can get kinda loud, but usually I find it cozy and welcoming. Thanks Thai mint for all the tasty food:)

One of the best if not the best place for a good sized great tasting Thai meal in the city. The portions are amazing, and the food is just to good. Love the pad Thai and pad see ew! Love to come here when I'm craving Thai food and want two meals in one!! Very reasonably priced as well and great service.

Great little lunch place! We all ordered from the lunch menu which came with a cup of hot & sour soup and a crunchy spring roll. Both delish. I ordered the eggplant Basil stir fry and flavors were spot on. Red curry was rich & delicious. They say both dishes have a little heat but they don't so tell them extra hot if you want any spice at all. Great service too. Would definitely go here again.

So excited to have tried this palace. We live down the street and decided to come try it out. It was very casual cute inside. The staff was very nice and helpful to make a decision on what to order. It was our first time and we never heard of certain things in the menu. We decided to try out something different compared to what we always try when we eat Thai. We tired the pineapple chicken fried rice and the red curry. Loved it all we will be back and also reasonable prices. Follow my page on Instagram for more food inspiration at eatingwithbrit.

I thought we were going to another place when one of my guests suggested Thaihey across the street from the fire station on Decatur. Yes, sure. Many will understand the limited menu options for vegetarians at most places. Wes ordered Tom Kai, Becky the Massaman Jackfruit option and I the one with short rib. It was delicious. It was warm and comforting, full of flavor and the chef made it less spicy for me. What a delight to choose a menu option that I have never had and restaurant that I have never been to. Thai food can sometimes be hit or miss for me, and I'm usually pretty particular about what I order. I don't tend to branch out too much when it comes to Thai food because I already know what I like. Each bite was delicious, and I really enjoyed how well-balanced all the flavors were. It was the kind of meal where you just keep eating and forget you were supposed to take pictures in the first place! The restaurant itself is spacious and has a really beautiful aesthetic. I loved the combination of the artwork and exposed brick walls. Together, they create this rustic, cozy feel that makes the space feel both stylish and inviting.
