We did X-rays even though my family dentist already sent theirs over(which is fine because maybe they want inspect further.) They said I needed a root canal and told me to wait outside for a quote. That's when the service started going downhill. I was quoted over $1000 after insurance, they were going to charge my insurance plus me paying $1000 cash. I felt like the price was unreasonable since I did a estimate on my insurances website so I said I'll have to think about it. Immediately on the spot they offered a 25% discount, good for today only. After that happened I knew that they were doing shady practices and declined. They further said what price I will be fine with doing the procedure today and they will ask the doctor to see if he will be okay with. I declined since I thought the whole process is bad practice. I then asked for my x-rays so I can show another clinic, they said they would e-mail it but I never got it. Lol. At the end, they asked me for payment for my deductible - all while charging 3% extra because I chose to pay with credit card. lol.
