Usually I come in every 6 months and I fill out a reminder card which is usually sent to me ahead of my next appointment. But the past few times I have not received a card in the mail so when my appointment is due I'm not able to plan for it. Edna usually does the scheduling and working with her has gotten progressively difficult. Usually she can put me on a waiting list and call a day before to confirm, but this time she said I had to call to confirm. This is fine but I questioned why she couldn't call as usual, and she just gave a non-answer ending with "whatever". I couldn't believe the disrespect! Edna has never apologized for the inconvenience (even in the past), knowing that it's usually very difficult to reschedule. Appointments can be weeks to months out (there is only one hygienist left). Anyway I'll miss having Dr. Chu as my dentist but I won't tolerate anymore the attitude Edna has displayed toward me the past few years. Good luck

At this point, my entire family has gone to Dr. Chang for treatment and they all had great experiences. Last time Dr. Chang was able to save my tooth. I was willing to wait, I heard this office was great and the reviews seemed to agree. I had a late afternoon appointment. When I checked in the receptionist could not find my name in the schedule. I pulled up my call log to show that I did speak to someone in the office a month ago. Without skipping a beat, she worked me in. I filled out some forms and she looked up my dental insurance, which seemed easy peasy for her to do. Despite the initial disappointment of not being properly scheduled, I had a great experience with my X-rays and exam. The office vibe is relaxed and friendly. Although it was busy, Dr. Azarbal maintained a very pleasant disposition and I could hear him asking other patients if they were comfortable. He is very friendly, easy to talk to, and he's an attentive listener. He thoroughly explained what was going on with my teeth. Even though the office was shutting down for the day (remember they worked me in), he took his time to give me dental "mini-lessons" with enthusiasm. I even chose to pay out of pocket for years to continue seeing him cause he is a great dentist. Does great work and is honest and ethical. He's fun funny, provides outstanding patient education (some dentists dont care about this-but its so important), and is most personable, supportive and gentle dentist. Highly recommend.
