Had a great experience at Joshua Dental in Pasadena! Went in for a checkup and cleaning and ended up signing up for their membership plan since I was so happy with the service. They require that you pay upfront and they do not accept my insurance. Nobody has that kind of money at least they told me that over the phone instead of the other dental place that didn't tell me that until after I have a cleaning done paid for a special and was quoted enormous prices read more

We turned to Joshua Dental in an emergency situation and in short, this doctor and team saved my mom's life. She had undergone several fillings for a decayed tooth, and other dentists refused to do an extraction because of the risk associated - even though she was in excruciating pain and could not eat for several days. We had never been to Joshua Dental before, and called several offices / oral surgery centers for days to see if anyone can help her. His office was the only one who agreed in a 300 mile radius! We drove 3 hours and got there at 6 pm. They stayed open until 11 pm to do my mom's complicated emergency procedure - a very difficult extraction and a bone graft. Their service, empathy, and the quality of their work was exemplary. I'm a physician and can attest that from check in to wheeling my mother out himself, this dental surgeon provided the most comprehensive and compassionate care I've seen. In the days following the procedure he called my mom to check in, sent an extra prescription for her, and was overall much more involved than I would have expected. We thank God to have found this office and dental surgeon. Oh I almost forgot to mention - my mom did not have a type of dental insurance that was accepted at this office, yet they still took care of us and the charges were very reasonable for the situation / service. Additionally, his office was extremely nice and clean. read more

Dr. Lee is very gentle and kind. He will listen to all your problems about your dental care and guide you in the best direction. Can get your dental care without an insurance and is affordable compared to other places! Always wanted a dental office that is not crazy prices with a trustworthy treatment care. He was also in the US Army as a dentist so he is veteran friendly and has cool army dentistry stories. He will help you with the toughest cases even for crown or implants. He even helped with an emergency case for a painful root canal and extraction. So thankful he really cares for his patients and he really knows what he is doing. His office is very clean, modern, and new. Even the bathroom is so nice and clean! I love how the staff is so friendly. Definitely will come back. read more

Few weeks ago I had a sudden toothache that I couldn't take any longer, it was a holiday and everyone I called was off. I called many dentists "emergency 24 hr" services to get no reply. Once I tried Dr. Joshua he instantly made me feel better over the phone, one hour later I was sitting in his office where he took care of my Paine. I have since then started a journey with him to get my teeth on the right track, and couldn't ask for a more communicative, polite dentist. You're not just a number but a patient, and you feel like you're with a family in this office. Everyone is so nice and professional. When in a procedure, he communicates all his steps and makes you feel comfortable and also make sure numerous times you're not in any Paine during the procedure. I recommend anyone near Pasadena to try his office out, you won't regret it !!!! read more

Had my first cleaning last week. I recently moved to Pasadena and feel very lucky to have found Joshua Dental. Super easy online/mobile experience to get scheduled. Staff is nice and welcoming and made check-in painless. Office is centrally located with plenty of parking spots. Very modern and clean interior. The brand new x-ray machine, state of the art dental cleaning tools, and the Netflix during the cleaning made it a great experience. I could tell Dr. Lee really cares about his patients and is a true dentist that cares about my wellness from the neck up to the jaw and face and head. He's not just churning through a bunch of cleanings/fillings and racing from one patient to the next. I look forward to going back for years to come. read more

I came to Joshua Dental through a referral from my Invisalign orthodontist for wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Lee and staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was worried about costs since I didn't have insurance and while the surgery is quite a bit out of pocket (at any office), I really appreciate Dr. Lee's transparency about estimated costs when I first called and when I received my consultation. I'm also grateful for how communicative and empathetic he was throughout my visits! He created the environment for me to feel comfortable asking questions and clearly talked through everything he was doing (which is so important in healthcare). The surgery and healing process went smoothly :) For me, it was 2 hours total for the surgery then a quick post-op check-up two weeks later. I'd recommend this place to others. Thank you! read more
