This was my third Yu Noodles location. The restaurant had a warm and inviting feel. I was looking forward to the potatoes on the stick that they have at other locations, but I didn't see it on the menu. I got the chicken soup dumplings and it was delicious as always with the vinegar and soy sauce. I tried the mushroom and chicken dumplings for the first time and had it pan friend for an extra $1. I loved it! The servers were friendly and food came quickly.

It's been a while since the first time I came here. Maybe 3- years. I've come twice in the past 2 weeks. I really liked the variety of foods I ordered. I do wish they did hand pulled noodles. Ordered: Mango smoothie 8/10 Rainbow dumplings 8/10 Scallion pancakes 10/10 Spicy beef noodle soup 7/10 Fried Pork chop & rice 7/10 Service: I never have to wait, we get seated immediately. The food comes out fairly quickly. Prices are decent! It's a wonderful spot for large groups. It's a casual place, but nicely decorated.

I wanted some quick to-go meals and Yu Noodles fit the bill. The shrimp chive dumplings were delicious even without any accompaniments like sauce or other garnishes. The noodles were delicious and the pork chop and extra peanut I ordered added extra crunch to it. The minced pork over rice were BOGO deals and came with eggs. I thought it was nice it made for a filling protein packed meal. I super appreciated the free parking and how quickly the order became ready. Less than $40 for so much food makes for a great value meal for families.

I wish I had more stars, so I could give this place 10 of them!!!! The service was top notch and the food was fantastic. We had chicken soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, and the brisket rice noodles. The broth was so flavorful it had so much depth. I wish I had a mother stomach so I could eat more. We will definitely be back.

First time at this location; I've been to the others, so I know what to expect here. The beef noodles were good, but I thought the flavor was a bit lacking today. However, the spicy chili wonton was very good. I love the subtle peanut flavor they added to it. The food came out pretty fast as well, it wasn't crowded at all on a Saturday afternoon.

This is a comforting and authentic Chinese place with a good mix of dimsum dishes and dry/soup noodle dishes. Recommend ordering the spicy wontons, they are full of flavor. The scallion pancakes also come out very fresh and crispy. I ordered the scallion oil chicken noodles which came with large portions, noodle had nice chewy texture! The xiao long bao skin was a bit thicker but yummy and I like that they had a rainbow option where you can try all the flavors. Service was good and food came out quickly. Parking is easily found.

Was glad to know this branch opened up next my work, I had to show my co-workers what's up and get them culture'd. The crystal shrimp dumpling is on point, had to eat one before taking a pic.. The sticky rice shumai was new to me but paired very well with some soy sauce and chili oil. We had more things ordered but demolished it before I decided to leave a review. Yu Noodles is always solid and still is in Chantilly! Place is spacious! Also service is very accommodating and on point, so what are you waiting for!? Come through!

First of all, I wanna say a shout out to Vicki. She was absolutely wonderful! When we ask questions she really listened and she was so helpful about the menu. I have been dying to try this place and I'm so happy that I finally got the chance to. The food was absolutely out of this world. I cannot wait to go back, it is everything my Soul needed today. It's cute, quaint and a perfect sit down with your loved ones or friends or even just by yourself. Do not just stand there, run and get everything off the menu.

Yu Noodles, located at Sully Place Shopping Center in Chantilly, offers authentic Chinese comfort food with a focus on handmade noodles and flavorful dumplings, especially renowned for soup dumplings (xiao long bao). The dishes are savory and flavorful, with the Sichuan Beef Noodle Soup standing out for its umami and the option to customize spice levels upon request. Steamed chives and pork dumplings are served hot, with generous portions that taste excellent. Service is friendly, attentive, and efficient, with food arriving quickly. The ambiance is clean, spacious, and well-designed.

Simply divine. Nothing like some great soup dumplings along with a noodle soup on a cold winter day. Great and fast service too. So happy they opened one in Chantilly.

    S7. Spicy Oil Pork Wonton

The food is authentic and delicious! Highly suggest the spicy hot oil dumplings and the beef soup dumplings! The wait staff is also very sweet and accommodating. This is a must visit place for all- even young kids!

We had a wonderful dinner - there was something for everyone! The soup dumplings were a favorite, and the scallion pancakes. Nobody left hungry. We will definitely be back!

Our group of five sampled a great variety from the menu, including the Hot & Numbing Tofu Skin, Crab Roe Soup Dumplings, Cucumber Salad, Lettuce Wraps, Cumin Fish, Stir-Fried Beef Tenderloin, Crispy Pork Ribs with Scallion Crisps and Mixed Grain & Purple Rice, Stir-Fried Beef with Chilies, and Kung Pao Chicken with white rice. The standout for me was the cumin fish. It was fried perfectly--crispy without being greasy--and the cumin added great flavor without overpowering the dish. The crispy pork ribs lived up to their name and had a nice kick of spice. The cucumber salad packed a serious garlic punch, which I really enjoyed. The Hot & Numbing Tofu Skin was something completely different from what I expected. It's sliced into long ribbons that resemble noodles or pasta. The flavor was excellent, although the texture took some getting used to. The only dish that fell a little short was the stir-fried beef tenderloin, which could have used a bit more seasoning. Everything else was delicious. The portions are enormous. At first the prices seemed a little high, but once the food arrived it made perfect sense. Every entrée was easily enough for two meals. One thing to keep in mind is that rice is ordered separately and isn't included with the entrées. Service was excellent throughout our meal. We arrived for lunch and didn't realize they close between lunch and dinner (lunch is served from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.). We ended up staying until about 2:45, and the staff never made us feel rushed even though they had technically closed. They greeted us promptly, took our drink orders, and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu without hovering. The restaurant is tucked away on the ground floor of an office building, so it's easy to drive right past if you aren't looking for it. Parking was plentiful, and the oversized booths comfortably fit all five of us without feeling cramped. If you're dining with a group and want to sample a variety of authentic dishes, Mama Chang is definitely worth the visit.

Places like this always have secret things you can do with the menu, but we just couldn't get to that conversation. So we were forced into ordering two giant helpings of the same dumpling. One was a basic pork one, I think, and the other was a soup dumpling. The regular dumplings were pretty good. Soft exteriors, plenty of filling within, very good. There was a good chili crisp on the table that accentuated everything, too. The soup dumplings were also pretty good. The ones that didn't rip into pieces as we tried to pick them up anyway. The place was filling up and the ambiance reminds me of a traditional bustling noodle house - perfect for the cold snap we were experiencing at the time. We got hot and sour noodle soup, sichuan beef noodle soup, and an order of their pork soup dumplings. Portions are generous and prices are fair, it's easy to become a regular here if you live nearby. The hot and sour noodle soup is as advertised - just enough spice to complement the sour, but not overwhelm to make it feel like mala. It's served, as expected, with glass noodles, some bak choi, and some pork slices. Nothing spectacular but par for the course. The sichuan beef noodle foon soup was slight notch better. The broth gives really warm vibe and you can tell it's been brothing for a long time. Again just the right amount of spicy to make you keep slurping for more. The noodles were average, chewy, but not bouncy. Also comes with a healthy amount beef slices and bak choi. Again - a great noodle soup bowl but nothing jaw dropping. Soup dumplings were fantastic, however. The pork definitely has its own marinade and the soup is flavorful. The dumpling skin is well constructed and complemented well with the noodle soups - especially in cold weather. tldr; solid noodle soup spot, they seem to be consistent and really hits the mark when you're in a for your noodle fix. For example, the Panfried Pork Bun used to be my favorite item here but they've changed the recipe significantly. The pork filling used to be a lot larger and juicier...but now when you break open the bun, the filling is so small that half of the bun doesn't even have any meat. 80% of the bun is just dough and it's not fried well and quite greasy. Everything overall was way too greasy, including the crueller and the dry noodles were swimming in oil. I did like the texture of the noodles, but unfortunately it was overshadowed by the oiliness of the broth it was sitting in. It's really sad to see this place fall short since it opened a couple years ago. I'm hoping that they can improve their quality of food as it's really gone downhill since opening.

Hostess barely looked happy to see us, and if that wasn't a sign, the food sealed it. Sushi was crusty, dried out, weirdly gray - honestly, you'd expect fresher from a gas station shelf. Chef at the sushi station was glued to his phone, blasting what sounded like a personal playlist so loud you could catch the rhythm from across the buffet. Wasabi was chalky and ginger looked days old. Soy sauce? Evaporating. Buffet choices were super slim, mainly shrimp. Beef and chicken stir fry didn't look worth the plate space. Two kinds of fried wings in total, which didn't help. Another staff had their phone volume maxed out, so the noise never stopped. Salad bar was a sad scene; brown edges and limp leaves, with dressings crusted over like they'd been sitting since breakfast. Forget the dessert section and fruit; nothing looked tempting. Soup looked so neglected, you'd swear it belonged in a donation bin. Ice cream was worse; just tough lemon and a chocolate that didn't pass the smell test. Only highlight? The hibachi chef hustled to make shrimp, and eggs feel freshly cooked, even if the supplies were running dry. The green tea was decent. But with sticky walls and greasy windows, it's hard not to feel like the place quit on cleanliness a while ago. At least our server has a smile.
