I rarely yelp. But occasionally a place is truly excellent and I want to scream from the mountain tops to let everyone know. Occasionally I'm struck by the negativity a place can emanate and feel obligated to warn others. This is the latter. The manager was so very rude. Food is a stepup better than basic dinner food. Fair choice of items on the menu. However, they no longer do french toast on their menu....i prefer french toast to pankcakes for brunch/breakfast. Further, they dont seem to like to take orders over the phone. They seem to prefer you order through various apps. Some time they also need to go over the orders so they get them right and they may take sometime to complete the delivery. When they are good they are really on point, but when they off they are off due to poor service. read more

The laid back charm of the cafe had a magic way of whipping time by. The music is indie and the drinks are hot when they should be and chilled when called for. I drove by with my partner desperate for food and wanted to avoid this place the first three times I saw it earlier in the month. My first thoughts were 'oh no, not another business with reclaimed wood in Bushwick' but we went in and everything is such a great price! They have great food for a decent price not only in comparison to new york city prices but to other areas as well. They have a lox bagel for around $5, what?! Hands down the best breakfast burrito in Brooklyn. It just has the right kick to it. My girlfriend and I go here almost every weekend, we even took a Lyft here in the snow last week just so we could get the breakfast burrito. Seriously it's that good. I stopped in after the usual time for Sunday breakfast but this place was still serving. I ordered the Breakfast burrito and it was delicious . It had eggs, pepper jack, sour cream, roasted peppers, onions, salsa verde and your choice of meat or avacado. I had the sausage in it with a couple of splashes of Siracha. I'll be back. read more

hey! i've been here multiple times because it's near my apartment and it has wi-fi. the people working here are super nice. i just heard a customer say that they were feeling sick, and the barista brought her some tea for nothing. the barista offers to reheat my coffee if she knows i've been sitting there working for a while. on top of that, it's 20 degrees right now, so the barista put a little heater right next to my seat (since im the only customer right now). the food is actually great -- the bagels are full sized and fresh for cheap. there is a large table, and small barstools for a people to sit, with wi-fi if they want to work. the bathroom is clean, and seems to have been recently renovated and is kept nice. come give these good people some business! they deserve it! read more

The breakfast bagel sandwiches we got were not very good. The bagels themselves were either overly toasted or dry to begin with, and the egg and sausage were bland and also dry.. Tried to wash it down with an iced coffee. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth taking more than a few sips. We enjoyed sitting out front and people watching, though! read more

I've recently moved to this neighbourhood and decided to try this place after reading its reviews. This place is EXCEPTIONAL! Between the cute decor, the quality of the food and the lovely staff, this place is by far the best cafe around for breakfast and brunch. Down the block from my apt and always convenient when I'm in a hurry. They put a very reasonable amount of hummus on their bagels. Many bagel institutions don't seem to understand that hummus is a spread and they put like a pound (I'm estimating) of hummus on a bagel, and when you try to fit that bagel in your mouth the hummus just ends up all over your face and fingers and you look like a fool. I've been really disappointed with this place lately. I've been coming here for the past 2 years and have watched their customer service slowly decline. Orders on seamless are almost always wrong. If I pay extra to add avocado or to have my sandwich made on a croissant, it's a waste of money. I never get the things I pay extra for, and with no notification or price adjustment from the cafe. I try to remedy the situation by calling in my orders, only to be left on hold for over 5 minutes and completely forgotten about. 2 stars for the food, because it really is excellent. Despite my not-so-pleasant experiences here, I've decided to go back and try again several times. Not going back after this one though. Walked in a little less than an hour before closing and when I asked if I could have the food to stay, the woman said I shouldn't because they were closing at 5..... which was almost an hour away. Was also pouring outside and just wanted a warm meal. The food is subpar, overpriced and unsatisfying. The girl behind the counter isn't exactly the sweetest. This is a great space to work (if you don't have to really concentrate as it is constantly busy). The wifi worked really well and most of the tables were always filled so it wasn't awkward to sit there for a long time... Because we all know being in a cafe with just yourself and the gum chewing barista really is awkward. I didn't get any food but the $5 breakfast burrito is massive and looks amazing. I will definitely be back to try it! My only complaint is I couldn't find any plugins to charge my computer and had to leave earlier than expected. read more

Little but awesome place. Food here is better and tastier than restaurants plus, only fresh ingredients. Great place for a lunch or a tea break. They will serve you very fast. Caramel Lattes are just sick. And all of these is very reasonably priced. A five star place, no doubts. read more
