I hired this technician to replace the hard drive in my grandparents' computer. He also said it…read moreneeded a new fan due to noise, which we agreed to. He told us the repair would take 3-4 days, but it ended up dragging on for weeks with multiple delays. Eventually, he shipped the computer back to me without my permission, and it arrived with the stand broken and the fan still unfixed. He said he would come fix it once the new fan came in, but after waiting over a month with no resolution, I finally gave up and ordered the fan and a new stand myself and had someone else complete the repairs. The whole process was unnecessarily drawn out, and I ended up having to spend more time and money to get things done right. I would not recommend.

Great experience with Macro Geeks Tech! I had already gotten my PC diagnosed elsewhere and knew…read morethat I needed my hard drive and power supply replaced. I brought the computer here for the installation, explained what was going on, and they did a quick check before taking care of everything for me. The turnaround time was excellent. I dropped my PC off only about an hour or two before closing, and they had the work completed and my computer ready for me the very next morning! I also had them clean the PC while they were working on it, and they did an excellent job. Everything was handled professionally and the quality of the work was great. Special shoutout to Dependra (Dee), who personally helped me throughout the process and answered my questions. I was a little nervous at first about leaving my PC somewhere new, but I quickly realized it was in good hands. Very professional, high-quality work, great turnaround time, and great customer service. If you need computer repair or installation work, definitely give Macro Geeks Tech a holler. I would absolutely recommend them!

I now have plug in internet ports in each room I want. He offered to significantly improve my wireless speed as well, but with the ports, I felt it was not necessary at present. As a second job, I had him upgrade a very slow older laptop by swapping out the old hard drive for a new solid state hard drive. Screaming fast for less than half the cost of a moderate laptop. He even gave my back my old drive, now wired to act as an extra, external hard drive. I found Clay to be pleasant, competent and professional and highly recommend him. If I have other computer work to be done, I know where to go.
