Recently purchased a house here in the DFW Metroplex. One of the first orders of business was getting my house wired with ethernet. I searched around and came across this business (good reviews and the pictures of his work looked great). I immediately reached out to Benjamin upon discovery and walked him through my request of getting 6 rooms wired (4 bedrooms, 1 living room, and 1 garage). We then discussed the options of CAT7 (not standardized), CAT6a and CAT6 for the project, I ultimately settled on CAT6 (cheaper and can do short runs to my servers with 10gigabit NICs in the same space as the switch). Ben came out to my residence on 10/26/19 at 7:30am for the installation, he worked with his partner until about 3pm. When it was all said and done: - CAT6 (x6) cables were ran to each room, all cables and termination points were all labeled. - Additional electrical socket was added to my networking closet. - Patched a hole in the closet ceiling and rerouted the WAN line left by Frontier (that dropped into the closet from attic.). - I have a massive antenna in my attic (left by the previous owner), Ben was able to drop that as well (into closet for my TV tuner card) and fixed the wire. - Used J Hooks in attic, clean look. I am able to pull (into closet) or push up (into attic) the CAT6 cables that are plugged into the switch with ease. All in all, was a great experience and glad it was done correctly the first time. Very professional, fair pricing and efficient. If I need more work done in the future (adding some runs outside or just upgrading to the lines, CAT6A etc.), I'll be sure to bring Ben in again. Lastly, Ben isn't just knowledgeable about networking but also cybersecurity (I work in the space), I foresee him becoming a networking security engineer in the near future. I just had Benjamin come to my house 3/11/18, and run some Cat 6 Ethernet cable into several rooms and reinstall my uplink cable in order to relocate my wifi modem router. He ran Cat 6 cable into my 30+ year old house which had him working in 5 different rooms of the house installing wall plate jacks and recessing electrical outlets. I'm all set now to wall mount a tv in one room and have hooked my other tv's to ethernet thereby freeing up my wifi for laptop's and smart phones. I hired Benjamin to set up a network in my home, hang tv's, and set up my garage door WiFi. The quote I received was more than reasonable. He showed up when promised, provided superb work, and was very neat and tidy. He even came back during the week to install my outdoor tv as it had not arrived during the initial work. It was very cold but he wouldn't take no for an answer and again superb workmanship. I was so impressed I then hired him to update cabling, rework WiFi, and install security cameras at my Doctor's office. He worked 3 days straight including a holiday and did superior work once again. i hired benjamin on july 24th to come to my home and fix my HP Laptop. the problem with my computer was that it wasn't turning on at all. benjamin quickly found the cause of the problem and let me know he could do it now! I agreed to let him do the repair and he quickly opened it up and replaced the bad piece! He did a fresh install of windows 10 on my system and got it up and running in no more than 2 hours total!
