As expected, I was pleased with all aspects of the process. What I did not expect, however, was that I would receive products and service that exceeded my lofty expectations at an extremely competitive price. Nelson was transparent throughout the process and helped me select high-quality equipment that met my specific needs while staying within my budget. I was also surprised by the level of operational support provided. Nelson showed me how to use all of the features, but he also set up a number of parameters in advance based on our original discussion without requiring further input. And that support did not stop once the products were installed and the final invoice issued. I am still receiving support on a regular basis. Anytime I have questions, answers are a quick phone call away. Finally, due to my own oversight, my were entirely unreasonable. Nevertheless, met them, and then some, installing my entire less than 48 hours after our initial conversation. Before the installation, I shared my concerns below with the sales person/installer: 1. The size of the inwall speakers the recommended would not likely reproduce the full range of sound desired (especially midrange frequencies) 2. The soundstage produced by the front three speakers needed to anchor vocals to the faces onscreen - not localized to a speaker (especially not to the center channel located below screen). 3. I wanted clean but very strong bass performance that you could feel but not localize to a point in the room. After the installation I received a full demo and sure enough - they failed on all three points. - There is minimal midrange reproduction - The voices are localized on the center channel speaker (despite adjustments) - The powered subwoofer cost over $1,000, but lacks any real impact and it is easy to place where it is in the room I spent time afterwards with the installer sharing my concerns and asking for adjustments to be made. He made some efforts, but the equipment and configuration still produces very, very thin sound reproduction. There is no full range of deep rich sound in action movies (vehicle engines, explosions, etc.). Music on soundtracks sounds like it is playing out of a hand held radio. I told him I was not satisfied and not happy. All he could offer was to sell me additional speakers (left and right tower cabinet speakers and a second subwoofer), and he would give me credit back for two of the in wall speaker The amp is likely not adequate - should have gone with something higher current (Denon, Marantz or similar?). I trusted my money with their expertise/recommendations, and really feel like I failed to pick the right Home Theater company to accomplish a simple HT set up. The room is a dedicated HT room, only 14'x21' with 10' ceilings. I should have done more research. Lastly - on a personal note, I believe how an installer approaches "wire management" (see photos - no methodology) is an indicator of their attention to detail what standard they set for themselves. There is also a photo of their teeny tiny "premium" in wall speaker.

Recently purchased a house here in the DFW Metroplex. One of the first orders of business was getting my house wired with ethernet. I searched around and came across this business (good reviews and the pictures of his work looked great). I immediately reached out to Benjamin upon discovery and walked him through my request of getting 6 rooms wired (4 bedrooms, 1 living room, and 1 garage). We then discussed the options of CAT7 (not standardized), CAT6a and CAT6 for the project, I ultimately settled on CAT6 (cheaper and can do short runs to my servers with 10gigabit NICs in the same space as the switch). Ben came out to my residence on 10/26/19 at 7:30am for the installation, he worked with his partner until about 3pm. When it was all said and done: - CAT6 (x6) cables were ran to each room, all cables and termination points were all labeled. - Additional electrical socket was added to my networking closet. - Patched a hole in the closet ceiling and rerouted the WAN line left by Frontier (that dropped into the closet from attic.). - I have a massive antenna in my attic (left by the previous owner), Ben was able to drop that as well (into closet for my TV tuner card) and fixed the wire. - Used J Hooks in attic, clean look. I am able to pull (into closet) or push up (into attic) the CAT6 cables that are plugged into the switch with ease. All in all, was a great experience and glad it was done correctly the first time. Very professional, fair pricing and efficient. If I need more work done in the future (adding some runs outside or just upgrading to the lines, CAT6A etc.), I'll be sure to bring Ben in again. Lastly, Ben isn't just knowledgeable about networking but also cybersecurity (I work in the space), I foresee him becoming a networking security engineer in the near future. I just had Benjamin come to my house 3/11/18, and run some Cat 6 Ethernet cable into several rooms and reinstall my uplink cable in order to relocate my wifi modem router. He ran Cat 6 cable into my 30+ year old house which had him working in 5 different rooms of the house installing wall plate jacks and recessing electrical outlets. I'm all set now to wall mount a tv in one room and have hooked my other tv's to ethernet thereby freeing up my wifi for laptop's and smart phones. Wow, what a difference this installation made in the performance of my internet system.. ! Benjamin responded to my needs much quicker than I expected which was a bonus for me. He was agreeable to come to my house on a Sunday morning in order to accommodate my work schedule. Otherwise, I'd still be trying to get someone scheduled in order to do the job because of my sometimes challenging schedule. Like his ad says (I found him on Craigslist), he is polite, has a tremendous work ethic, very knowledgeable, professional and I'm happy to have found him. He's definitely on my contact list for any future internet/computer related issues and I would not hesitate to tell anyone to call him first.... I hired Benjamin to set up a network in my home, hang tv's, and set up my garage door WiFi. The quote I received was more than reasonable. He showed up when promised, provided superb work, and was very neat and tidy. He even came back during the week to install my outdoor tv as it had not arrived during the initial work. It was very cold but he wouldn't take no for an answer and again superb workmanship. I was so impressed I then hired him to update cabling, rework WiFi, and install security cameras at my Doctor's office. He worked 3 days straight including a holiday and did superior work once again. i hired benjamin on july 24th to come to my home and fix my HP Laptop. the problem with my computer was that it wasn't turning on at all. benjamin quickly found the cause of the problem and let me know he could do it now! I agreed to let him do the repair and he quickly opened it up and replaced the bad piece! He did a fresh install of windows 10 on my system and got it up and running in no more than 2 hours total! I recently moved in to a new (to me) home and wanted to find a company to help me with my…read moretechnology goals. I had previously taken a DIY approach to my A/V and security systems, but wanted to make my new place fully integrated from a technology standpoint. I started researching companies and got quotes from several before making my final decision. I found Kelltech Systems by searching the internet, looking for a Control4 dealer in the Dallas areas. They were Platinum rated by Control4 and had good reviews online, so I gave them a call. Kyle is the lead sales person there and he came out to my home to meet with me in person to talk through what I wanted to accomplish. We discussed options for putting music throughout the home (my home happened to be pre-wired for speakers, but none were installed), surveillance cameras so we could see the perimeter of the house, an alarm system with remote control from an app (alarm.com), and some light home automation including lighting control for some key lights, automated shades for my master bedroom, and thermostat integration. Kyle answered all of my questions on these topics and educated me on some ideas I wasn't aware of (like having the alarm sensors trigger lights to come on when I come home). He sent me a detailed, written proposal a few days later, and made the changes I needed to the proposal so that I could move forward. The install crew that came out was prepared for the work, knew exactly what was to be done, and carried out the work quickly and professionally. They trained me on the system so that I felt comfortable using the features and they left my home very clean, despite having cut in new speakers into the ceiling (a messy job). All that to say, if you're looking for a competent, professional, and friendly company for your A/V and security systems, Kelltech is a great resource. I will say they weren't the cheapest bid I received, but I felt like they understood what I was wanting to accomplish and weren't trying to low-ball me with their proposal. Good work Kelltech!

Austyn heard about my situation and still offered to route CAT6 cables to my 2nd floor for a better internet access for me to work from home. Austyn offered to invoice me and that I can pay him once I got back on my feet. He offered me an extremely reasonable price for the labor. Labor included wall drilling and wiring from the ground floor to the second floor of my home.
