Last weekend after searching on YELP for various audio video installers in the north east Dallas…read morearea, I contacted three installers and ended up choosing Honest Install of Richardson, TX. When talking to John, I could tell he was very knowledgeable about Audio/Video installs. He suggested I go with a Sonos Port to allow streaming over the internet, but noted that it was backordered months. I also decided to hold off on two other items he recommended until I could have his crew review my media room setup and verify whether there was other equipment that I needed. By the end of the day on Monday, I had approved an estimate for installation of whole home speakers and a media room setup and received a scheduled install start time of between 9-10am on Thursday. On Thursday, the install crew arrived in the scheduled time window and worked professionally to get the installation completed. They also suggested a couple of other items. John and I talked later in the day on Thursday and mentioned that the crew could install the additional items (other than the Sonos Port) on Friday. I agreed. When the crew arrived on Friday, I was happily suprises that they had a Sonos Port. Long story short, they installed the equipment and took time to show my wife (who is technically challenged) how to get the streaming working on her phone and complete the full setup. Awesome work and customer service. I highly recommend John's team at Honest Install for all of your audio/visual needs. Of note: John is a busy guy. He mentioned up front that the best way to reach him is on his phone as he is often traveling for work.

We live in a high rise so mounting anything in our apartment means drilling and cutting into metal sheets, which is why we decided to hire someone instead of handling it ourselves. Luckily, he didn't have to cut into the wall like the previous guy we hired at our last apartment did. He did a clean job mounting our TV, sound bar, floating shelf, clock, and artwork, all in about two hours. He was patient the whole time, took his own measurements, answered all my husband's questions, and gave us his honest suggestions based on what we wanted. Everything you need to know is on his website too, so the pricing is completely transparent. We would 100% hire him again for future projects and recommend him to friends!
