Lunch chicken Teriyaki Chicken and Vegetables Bowl
Lea C.

Yoshi's is our guilty pleasure when we use our monthly chase benefit food credit. Order thru DoorDash for pickup; apply the benefit and done. Love the veggie base and the spiciness is just right. Served piping hot and in good travel containers to get home. Staff are always friendly and everything is put in stapled bags. They do a hopping business here for good reason. Good food and reasonably priced.

Not on the menu, but great decor.

I was craving a teriyaki chicken rice bowl and voila! There was Yoshi's right around the corner. It was late for lunch so it wasn't busy and service was very speedy. It was just what I needed to get through the rest of the day. And the ladies there were so nice - greeting me as I walked in and thanking me as I left. I like that. So good vibes.

I love the teriyaki chicken bowl! You can't beat the price during happy hour but it's a good deal at the normal price too! I usually order online and the food is always ready quickly.

I rarely throw away food as it hurts my core to do so. This however had to be thrown out. The oil it was cooked in was rancid. The sauce was a which was supposed to be minimally coating the chicken was so much it looked like soup. I could go on but then will need therapy for PTSD.

#1. Teriyaki Chicken Combo, which includes an egg roll and drink.

Like a warm hug from an old friend. This was my bowl of chicken teriyaki at Yoshi's - a place I had not visited in more than 10 years. It was a delicious, hearty serving with tasty sauce and tender chicken over rice. Nothing fancy, and absolutely perfect. There's not much to say about the service, other than my order came out quickly after I ordered at the counter and was hot and fresh. It is a very casual place.

The food is great when they get the orders right. I've ordered take out twice from Yoshis this week, both were wrong.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Elyse was our server for the evening, and she truly made our experience even better. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure our table was taken care of throughout the entire dinner. We came with friends, and both of our families had our little ones with us, so we really appreciated that they had high chairs available. It's always a plus finding a restaurant that feels welcoming and accommodating when dining out with babies! The restaurant itself was super clean, and most importantly, the food was delicious. The sashimi tasted incredibly fresh, and everything we ordered was really good. Such a great first experience! We'll definitely be coming back and are so happy to have found a new sushi spot here in Arizona. Highly recommend!

For Arizona this is futuristic and wish we had one in Tucson. I don't eat seafood but the wagyu plate was tasty and I was able to order ramen that came with pork and an egg. For what it is, it was a pretty good visit. We really were pleasantly surprised by the quality. The variety was great. Rice was prepared right -- not mushy or stale. The fish was great which was the biggest surprise of the whole meal. The salmon was fresh and buttery. The scallops were plump. Tuna did not taste cheap or old like previous visits. I did try some of their limited time menu items -- their fish taco and the crispy rice hot dog. The cod in the fish taco was way too soft and disintegrated in my mouth, I would like a firmer fish.. the tartar sauce was great though. The crispy rice hot dog was interesting... the sausage was nice a plump -- juicy but the rice did not make sense. The rice was also a little sweet and did not taste right.. ** please bring back the crispy rice salmon and spicy tuna instead of this. We did not enjoy our last 2-3 visits to Kura. Service was always bad, food did not taste good and it was becoming overpriced for what it is. We would happily come back now and spend what we did again if the quality stays the way it is. Service this time around was still not great, even worse than usual actually, but we still enjoyed otherwise. Kura used to allow you to win prizes at 5-7 plates but now it's every 15, 25+ plates which sucks but I get it..

10/16/26 First Visit. Thank-you to Yelp Elite Allstar friend…read more@Emma N for your review! Back in Phoenix today and dropped in for lunch after a Chase Field experience. Parking 5/5 Mensho Ramen is located in a micro-plaza on the NE corner of Palo Verde Dr and 7th street; Phx. Enter parking lot off of Palo Verde Dr. most of the time you can find parking in the multi-Resturant parking lot. Micro Plaza Venue 5/5 This plaza underwent the current concept change when I lived nearby. I was excited as it announced the initial tenant line-up, and It became a big hit after opening. A favorite Italian restaurant which stands empty today had a fun modern concept and excellent food, and a micro-brewery operated in the space Mensho Ramen now claims as its Phoenix location. There are other nice eatery's in this plaza so you can find something to enjoy. Mensho Atmosphere 5/5 The bones of the former micro brewery were utilized however the design and brand concept was implemented exceedingly well. The restaurants centerpiece bar was maintained with nice design eliminates that sets the concepts theme. This is a beautiful eat at bar. The space is very comfortable with modern Japanese Cultural touches throughout. Service 5/5+ My host and server today was Ms. Cass. I was seated at a window booth to enjoy the plazas foot traffic. She walked me through the upscale menu. Between the menu, Cass's input and the review from Yelp friend @Emma N. I knew what I wanted to try. Cass had my drink order starter and Entree order and off she went. Cass was at my table often, her visits always timely making my experience perfect. Food 5/5++ I just visited Ramen restaurant in Gilbert recently which was lacking on several fronts and wanted to try more than I could eat. Leftovers were in the plan today. Starters Corn wings were a unique and clever creation from the cob. Served with a thin cob backing with the corn grilled to a slight char. They are served with a chili powder to add to suit your level of spice. Karate Chicken was served in small bite style making use of chopsticks easy. The texture and crunch was very nice, the flavor made this standout must try! Entree Mensho signature GKO spicy Ramen was excellent. I ordered extra spicy which they accommodated with a side of diced red chill paste and chili powder. The both was rich, flavorful and spicy. Fresh ingredients were skillfully placed for a beautiful presentation. The noodles were perfectly cooked and hearty. I loved this bowl. Eggs are an add for this bowl. Desert Pudding with strawberries was a the perfect complement to a superb Mensho dinner. Leftovers I didn't take much home as I expected the food was that good. I've elevated Mensho to my # 1 Ramen house for delivering Atmosphere and Great food! $122.67 includes tip Get Mensho on your list my friends-SYOY!

Our wait person was the same one we had previously. Her mood was Just pleasant enough to pass the pleasantry test but with a dose of " if I have to be nice to one more idiot..." simmering just below the surface. The food was "fine". My trout almandine had large chunks of nuts overpowering the fish. A different way of serving a dish that usually has a nice crispy delicate coating. This was like a lumberjack was coming to dinner and they wanted him full. Wonderful warm sourdough bread. Fresh, perfect green beans with scalloped potatoes that tasted as if they had been reheated from some earlier conception date. The bread pudding dessert was a nicely done finale but that was soured by our request for some decaf to go o with it. Our waitress said she would be happy to make some. I lifted my expectations momentarily at the thought of a nice fresh cup of steaming coffee accompanying the dessert. She came back two minutes later to deposit two mugs at our table. I thought, "wow, how do you brew pot that fast?" And then I tasted it and I knew. This coffee had been sitting on the burner for at least a few hours. Most of us know that specific taste. Which also means, since she said they didn't have any decaf made...that this was caffeinated. A double whammy for that time a of night. Sad to say, I had nothing last nite that would persuade me to negotiate a parking lot full of gym goers so that you have to park 10 min away,in the heat, for only so-so food served less than graciously.
