Take out shrimp fried rice, miso soup, rainbow roll, salmon roll, and the Goblin roll
    Rachel L.

This review is just for takeout. Ordered take out here last night after arriving to our hotel quite late from the airport. Solid sushi and one of the only places open later. We got shrimp fried rice, miso soup, rainbow roll, salmon roll, and the Goblin roll and they had the order ready in 30 minutes. It's not blow your mind sushi but it was great portions and delicious.

Time after time I'll pick Yoshi for the best sushi and yummiest gyoza soup. The location can always accommodate us with a last minute table, food is ready at a responsible time and the place is clean. Not to mention the sushi seems the freshest in the area. Love how you can add things to customize your roll. My toddler loves the sweet potato, add avocado and kani.

Came here on a Friday night, just my husband and I. When entering, a staff member greeted and told us to sit anywhere. I picked the table that has the plates that are nicely set since the rest of the empty tables did not have that. The place is nice and clean. In general, the service was slow. It took a while to get water for the table and also when ordering. Takoyaki Tempura - It was actually good. It was nice and hot when taking a bite of it. Went well with the tarter sauce. And did not cheap you out on the octopus. Love Boat for 2 ($99) - It took about 40 minutes to wait. (I saw 5 tables that came after me got their appetizers and meals and about 20+ takeout orders.) The sever didn't check on us or didn't let us know how much time it will complete making. We were the last table to get the meal and finish the meal. It was a beautiful presentation of the wooden boat. When I was chewing one of the nigiri, it had a bone in it. The sashimi is nicely fresh. The rolls were great. It also came with Miso soup. The soup was delicious. Good amount of seaweed and tofu. I recommend paying in cash.

My favorite sushi restaurant in the area. The fish is always fresh and prepared well. The service is great they have wonderful friendly staff. This is a must try! My favorite roll is the spicy tuna jalapeño. My husband loves the sweet potato tempura roll. Prices are also very reasonable!

The order was placed online to be picked up and was very easy to navigate. The menu had mostly sushi, but also had other options such as teriyaki and rice dishes. They also had a discount if an order was placed online for the first time. The food was ready upon arrival and placed on a table inside the front of the establishment. It was part of a mini strip mall with multiple eating spots. I tried 6 different sushi rolls and my thoughts on each are below. Alaska Roll ($6) - This was a standard roll with salmon, cucumber, and avocado. It was tasty and appeared fresh, no complaints. Mango Avocado Roll ($6) - The sweetness of the mango went well with the pieces of avocado, appropriate balance. Godzilla Roll ($11) - This was a deep-fried roll with eel, avocado, salmon, tuna with dried shaved bonito and eel sauce. This was fishy at first, but it grew on me as I kept eating it. The odd smell of the bonito could have thrown me for a loop, which I could see why the roll appeared fishy initially. Yoshi Roll ($12) - This had tuna, salmon, white tuna, avocado, tobiko and was soy wrapped with masago on top. These pieces were larger than the rest of the rolls it appeared. The roll as a whole was ideal, nice, and traditional. Martinsville Roll ($12) - This had spicy tuna on top and filled with tuna, salmon, and masago. This was again very good, simple, and light. Spicy Ocean Roll ($14) - This consisted of a spicy scallop on top with seared spicy tuna, smelt roe, and scallion with an eel and spicy mayo sauce. This was my favorite because the presence of the sauces and the spice from the multiple items that were spicy. There was just great flavor here. There was also a kani salad present. This was a nice touch with a bit of heat to it too. Will I go back? I would.

Solid, convenient option for sushi. Some of the pieces are more exceptional and more fresh than others. Good value for money.

The hospital I work at is in the area so this is our go to sushi spot for delivery when we have time to order. The sushi is fresh and amazing. When we order, I always get the sushi roll (either two rolls or three rolls) lunch special with miso soup. It is very reasonably priced especially for the great quality. I always demolish the sushi so I forget to take a picture, but I always order the eel avocado, shrimp tempura and or spicy salmon. I haven't been able to dine in because I don't get much of a break but they delivery fairly quick!

I go here when I find the time. They are so friendly and kind here but the food is what always brings me back. Still a 10/10

Excellent sushi! The restaurant was happy to accommodate a larger party (8) on a Thursday night. They even made it special with a "reserved" table sign. The menu has a lot of options but is not overwhelming. If you're someone who goes for sushi, but orders the chicken teriyaki be prepared. This is truly a sushi (only) restaurant. We ordered the love boat for 2, angry dragon, spicy ocean, fire, Yoshi and Alaskan rolls. Apps were spring rolls and edamame. We were hungry! They have authentic hot green tea which was a nice touch. The sushi came out in a timely manner and was a beautiful presentation. The sushi roll pieces, sushi pieces and sashimi pieces were perfect size. It was also all very fresh! We have found our new sushi spot

One waitress tried her best to help, but she was difficult to understand. We had the seaweed salad that seemed dried out. The shrimp ceviche was super good but it pretty much ends there. The selection of rolls was basic with nothing that stood out. The rolls we had were ok. The Oreo tempura and mini rolls were decent. As soon as we put the last bite in our mouths, the check was there. We felt nothing short of thrown out. It was weird, but we wanted to leave quickly when a group of diners allowed their children to run around the restaurant. While we ate we hoped the staff would say something but the situation got much worse. We were forced to move drinks on our table so kids wouldn't hit them while running. This experience could have been more than a 2 but since this issue was allowed to continue, 2 stars it is. Overall, just bad.

Didn't know but there is an ally path from the main downtown parking area to the shopping plaza/pedestrian roadway. This is still a great all you can eat sushi places, as good as I remember, great location and atmosphere, though the interior is showing a bit of wear and tear. Service was adequate but they did appear to be short maybe one server. I thought my wife and I were going to have all u can shovel but she pointed out that they also offered a 2 & 3 roll special. Not only did they offer my regular favorites but the price was about half the cost of all-u-can-eat. Special included an ample salad and soup while the six rolls were surprisingly large with generous ingredients altogether left us pleasantly full. Sure I could have had another roll but then I would have been "uncomfortable" and sleepy. All in all really happy with our choice to stop and the 2-3 roll special can be a better financial option while still leaving full.

I've eaten at Ottoyee for months now, and each experience has been incredibly delicious. However, the only thing is that the wait time can run very long. Not for the food to arrive, but for placing the order. We tried to get the attention of the waiter on staff multiple times, but was either ignored or they were behind the screen attending to something else. The wait time was around 15-20 minutes, but this is likely attributed to the small staff. Otherwise though, they were incredibly kind and knowledgeable of the menu and we still had a delicious experience as usual.

I so wanted to love this place, and was so excited to try it when reading the menu. Otoro? Ramen?…read moreGyudon? It all sounded like the perfect restaurant, but I'm really hesitant to return. Upon entertaining on a weekend evening, there were a few tables with patrons but not too busy. The restaurant did seem a bit understaffed with only one person taking orders / bringing food out, making it difficult to flag down this one person to successfully take our order and ask for anything additional throughout the night. Gyudon: for the price, we were really surprised at how small of a portion this was. It was not only in a small bowl, but the meat was layered on top perfectly deceiving you to think that there was more than there actually was. The majority of this dish was rice, and with limited sauce at that. As displayed on the menu images it was to be served with a runny egg, but unfortunately we got a fully cooked one (disappointing, as we were looking for something to mix with the rice!) Sushi: We got a 3 rolls and they were just alright. They were pretty small in size, with less rice than I'm used to (which is something I do like - I would rather more fish than rice!) With us getting spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and spicy scallop - they all kind of tasted the same, so I wish the fish wasn't as heavily masked with spicy mayo. Ramen: I got the black garlic ramen, and it wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. I've purchased fresh ramen packages in the supermarket before and it tasted just like that, so it made me disappointed knowing I could achieve the same at home. The soup itself was extremely rich and fatty, and the charsiu had no flavor whatsoever leaving much to be desired. The main reason I'm rating this so low is upon having my last bites of sushi, I could tell something was off. I don't recall which specifically I had but I made a statement that it was extremely fishy and off putting. Fast forward later that night, I was hunched over the toilet vomiting with stomach pain - and I can deduct that the sushi was the culprit. I might consider trying Ottoyee again due to the great deals they have listed on food delivery apps, but the sushi quality (quite literally) put a bad taste in my mouth.
