So that could be a pet peeve of mine. An $18 glass of Japanese whiskey and that was fantastic. I got the last of the bottle and it was perfect with a heavy pour. Service was great here. It had a lot of rice. It was fine but I don't think I'd order it again because it wasn't memorable in my opinion. The champion sashimi was kinda spicy which I didn't expect but it was delicious. I would order more of this or something similar to this preparation next time. The Denver roll was refreshing. It's wrapped in cucumber and it comes with a special sauce. I liked it. Around 15 min after we ordered, we asked about the rice and they said they'd check, coming back they said the kitchen was backed up. After the 30 min, we asked about the rice again and the person serving us seemed agitated and dismissive and then left without providing alternatives or accommodations. The chicken got cold and we just ended up paying and left after that first round. The person serving us knew that we barely ordered anything and didn't say anything when we decided to just pay and leave. I would just say don't go during busy hours. I'm sure it may have been better outside of that time, however I have been to places that still give great service despite that. I don't think I'll go there again though.
