This is an extremely unethical dealership. They have made various billing errors since I leased my SECOND vehicle with them at the end of November. The first is a complaint that has already been filed regarding inaccurate information they gave me about a car payment I paid early on my previous car. The second complaint is a new one that I have just been made aware of by the Kia Finance Dept. I turned in my car early and leased a new car with Yonkers Kia. Il was told that they would take over my lease and pay remaining payments and I would start a new lease with them on a new vehicle. As far as I was aware I was no longer responsible for any payments connected with my original car. It is now middle of January and I have received a notice that I owe Kia Finance over $2000 because my original Kia was sold in an auction for less than it's value. Kia finance has expressed that the dealership did not do it's job and send in all of the necessary paperwork to let them know that they would be taking care of these payments so it is now a balance on my account. I have perfect credit, I pay all of my bills on time and this will most likely hurt my credit when it is clearly an error made by the dealership. In typical Yonkers Kia fashion I have called about this issue and been told it was a mistake made by them but have been given no information on how this situation will be rectified. I have called back daily and it is next to impossible to get anyone on the phone. When you do get someone on the phone you cannot get a clear answer on anything. They seem to blame everything on the finance manager who was recently fired rather than taking responsibility and fixing the problem. read more

I recently bought a car here. First off, I would like to mention that my experience at Yonkers KIA was amazing. Their service as I walked in was exceptional. The person who most helped me was "Saad" I believe. He actually sold me the car, and helped me out on a high level. A great employee, overall I'm just happy I got a car ! Lol read more

the worst experience i have ever encountered!!!! service is the worst they say its an hour wait which turns into 5 hours. then they charge us $300 for labor for what should be an hour job, and the parts were $300 so labor is $300 too. and what they were fixing is what their mechanic decided to use a piece of spark plug to fix, last time i was there. if you want to be robbed go to yonkers kia read more

I went to KIA to get an Oil change and the mechanic did not put the cap back on correctly. A month later the cap fell off and my engine blow. It took KIA 3 months to fix it. In the mean time I was making payments of $440 a month for the car and $225 for my insurance. I have a KIA Sportage which is a SUV, KIA provide with a sedan, Stated they have no SUV for me, The car went used. When I spoke to KIA Corporate they said that if I provided them with proof of payments they will reimburse the car payments only. This happened November 2018 it is now April 2019 and I still have not received anything but a hard time from KIA. They keep giving me the run around, saying I need to provide them with more information. Please keep in mind that I make my payment to KIA directly, which means they should have all the records they need to see I have made all my payments. Worse company to deal with. I would never deal with KIA again. Do yourself a Favor and stay clear from this company. KIA IS THE WORST!!! read more

We leased a 2013 Kia Soul yesterday (9/7/13) from Yonkers Kia. The salesman, Jose, and his general manager, Darwin, made the experience quite pleasurable. They both took an active interest in our specific needs, anticipating questions before we asked. Jose offered a test drive to us without prompt or cue, a nicety rarely afforded by many other dealerships. It was clear that customer satisfaction is their top priority. The finance manager, Stephanie, was equally helpful. She spent plenty of time with us and worked to ensure that we were able to get the best monthly payment and rate possible. At no point during the experience did we feel as though we were being pressured into anything against our will. We will return to Yonkers Kia to buy or lease our next vehicle, and will enthusiastically recommend them to our friends, family, and coworkers. read more

Went to Kia of Yonkers to renew my lease and get a new car. After signing papers I was then told they did not have color I wanted ,also did not get back up camera & heated seats like I had in old car. I was really turned off with this dealer. It sounds like bait & switch to me! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Sales person was extremely nasty! I actually walked out and refused to give them my business. The sales person (Delano) was so nasty, at one point I had to ask him what was his problem. Stop trying to tell me what I need to do in my life and evaluate my personal situation. Only thing he should have been concerned with was my application to sell cars. I asked to speak to the manager Sal who wasn't at all helpful either. Never Ever would I tell anyone to go to this fake dealership. Everyone there needs training in courtesy, etc. Good luck to any fool that goes to this place! read more

I just bought a car at Yonkers Kia, let me say this first, my credit is not stellar, but I got approved, although it took over 5 hours on the same day, plus a couple extra days for them to close the deal. My salesman was Eduardo, if it was because of him alone, I would have rated Yonkers Kia 10/10, he is just amazing, honest, straight forward, and if you guys agreed on something, he will fight for you and keep his word all the way. Where I did have a little problem was at the finance office where I feel I was been pushed a little to buy something I didn't need (The extended Warranty from Allstate) it cost 2,500 and add the interest on that for 6 years, it will add up a lot, so READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING IT. I don't really think you need an additional car warranty on a 2015 car, that comes with at least 3 years manufacturing warranty. So that's my only issue, I feel that the push you a little more than normal to get that when in fact you don't need it (unless you are buying an older car) Stephanie the finance manager was great, if you really dislike something on the contract she will go over it with you and remove it, plus she cares about the customers. After all my buying experience at Yonkers Kia was a little bit stressful but worth it, thanks to Stephanie, but mainly thanks to Eduardo, remember READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING and your buying experience at YONKERS KIA will be very worth it. read more

My second purchase, I went in to look at a car I saw on their website, took a little bit to locate the car but was as advertised, wanted to sleep on it, so after consideration I decided to make the purchase. I did my homework and went in with my own preapproved financing at a good rate based on my credit. Sal the manager told me to let him take a look and try to get a better rate, so I allowed them to look for financing. Within minutes they came back with a rate of almost 2 percentage points of what I had. I was in and out of the dealership in an hour (with my new car) ... I recommend this dealer and would do business again. read more

I had a great experience leasing my new Kia Sedona. Worked with Joseph Gamboa who is very nice and made the process very simple. I knew exactly what I wanted going in and he made it happen. Let me just start off by saying this most horrible customer service of any place I have ever done business with. 2015 I went to lease the 2015 KIA Optima at Yonkers KIA, The sales Rep swindled me, they told me that that my credit wasn't high enough OK fine, I could have just went some where else or held off until my credit was better. but instead he told me that they were going to get me a lease on a optima with basic features and told me to come back in a hour. when I came back he told me he locked me in a finance deal paying $564 a month, without even contacting me or letting me decide if that was something I wanted to do,I was too angry for words, I spoke with the manager and he basically brushed it off like it was not a big deal saying basically they had to move quick to get the loan to seal the deal basically they just wanted my money, after our conversation he tried to sell me a more upgraded optima " if you can make these payments on time" now first of all I wanted a lease paying no more than $250 or $300.. you locked me in for a financing a car that was way over budget ...please do not buy your car here..I want to give them no stars unfortunately this website doesn't allow me to. read more

I had my 2017 Optima serviced at Yonkers Kia a few times,Twice with a tire rotation. After the first one the service rep. told me they take the rear tires and swap them with the front tires. After searching in the Kia manual I saw this was incorrect. The front tires are moved to the rear and the rear tires are crossed to the front,Left rear to right front etc,As per page 8-45.I recently went back to Yonkers for service and I showed the service Rep a copy of the page from the Kia manual.I asked to have my tires rotated in this manner and also an oil change. When I picked up my car I was assured that the tires were rotated as requested,Since it was raining outside I took their word and did not check(I had marked my tires).Later when I checked, they did it the same old way. I went back to complain and told them to flip my front tires only. After 2 hours they brought my car out and you guessed it they flipped both front and rear.I give up.If a car dealership's FACTORY TRAINED mechanics can't rotate tires as per their own manual would you have faith in them doing a major job.I wouldn't read more

Never again will I lease a car with Yonkers Kia. I bought in my old car to get a new one. I never got the plates for the old car, where I was told they would take care of the plates. I received a bill from the DMV to pay for the registration. For over two weeks I've been calling and leaving messages to the manager, and Chantelle, who takes care of all the DMV documentation. No one has called me back with an update or any information about the elusive plates under my name. I had to call DMV to let them know what my next steps would be. Now I have to take time to go to a police precinct, pick up a MV78B and file the plates lost and/or stolen. I don't have that kind of time to be running around doing KIa's business, that I actually paid for. On top of all that, the mileage on the new vehicle keeps hiking up for some reason. I parked it for the whole weekend on 1,576 on the meter, that Monday I turned on the car to go to work, and the meter stated 1,620. I went straight to the Yonkers Kia to speak to the service guy, and he fudged with the electricals and it went back two miles. DO NOT GET A CAR AT THIS PLACE, THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND ONCE YOU GET YOUR CAR THEY WRITE YOU OFF AND NEVER TAKE CARE OF ANY ISSUES YOU MAY HAVE IN THE FUTURE. Customer Service appears to be pleasant, but they never get back to you, not the manager, not the salesperson, and certainly not Chantelle who supposedly has "connections" with DMV. Now I'm stuck with this lease, but I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN TO GET A CAR. I will never refer anyone, and anyone ever asks, my response will be "They are Scammers and they no not car about their customers. They're all about the sale, and then they forget about you"...I regret every day coming here. Now I have to file that police report because they stole my plates! Even ONE STAR is generous. read more

I wouldn't even give 1 star if that was an option. Basically I had been given an appointment time on a Sunday and when I got there, I had to wait bc I was told they were "short staffed", ok? I waited 30 mins past my scheduled appointment time. First they give me a kid who started working there 2 weeks ago and when I asked questions about the vehicle I was interested in, he told me "I don't know" numerous times. Then he presents me with information on the car after speaking to his manager but then when I stated I had a trade in value from their dealership, that I was told would be validated, they asked me if I meant to lease the vehicle, which I previously told them I ONLY want to finance the car. So of course the price sky rocketed. I was then sent to another salesman who I laid out all the information I wanted in the car, told about the trade in value and told him the price I wanted. He went to speak with his manager and agreed to the price and trade in value. I MADE SURE the sales price was what I wanted BEFORE the trade in value was deducted. They kept me waiting around while they assessed my car for hours. Finally, they agreed and started the paperwork for the financing but told me I'd have to wait to get my new car bc it had to be sent out for as they did not have it on the lot. I left without any information on the numbers we talked about bc they never offered it to me and never met with a financial manager about any of this. I proceeded to contact the salesman the next day for a breakdown of the pricing and was getting the run around from everyone I spoke with at the dealership for THREE days. Finally I demanded to speak with the GM, who to no surprise, was not in. I was put on the phone with a sales manager who stated she would get all the information I requested to me that day. Since this post is already ridiculously long, I'll keep the rest short but basically they tried to sell me the car at the set price I agreed on, after the trade in value, which was approximately $9,000 more than what I agreed to on Sunday. I made sure to explain that's not what I agreed to and got approval for from the sales manager on Sunday. The new manager stated there's no way she can sell it to me at the agreed on price bc the car is too expensive for such a deal and the salesman explained it wrong to me in the first place, as if I'm an idiot. I explained that she was the one who's misunderstanding, I even talked to the salesman and he said that I am absolutely right about what we agreed upon and he totally contradicted the sales manager but claimed the manager back tracked after I left Sunday and said they can't sell it for that agreed upon price. Then I told them I'm withdrawing my purchase and want my deposit back and the sales manager called me back and tried to get me to lease it to buy bc then it'll be closer to the price I want but I cannot trust one thing this dealership claims and all their practices are 100% shady. Trying to pull a bait and switch last minute! Shameful. I will never buy a vehicle from them, nor will I work with the Kia car company as a whole anymore. Which is a shame as my car (that I was going to trade in) is a Kia. Just shows they don't even value their actual current or new customers. I cannot say enough about the bad practices here. read more

Do not go to Yonkers kia to buy or lease your car. The sales people, the manager and the general manager Darwin, are a bunch of double talkers. We were there to turn in our Kia lease. Finally after four hours of negotiating a deal for our new lease, we were told everything was a done deal, and all we had to do was come in the next day to sign papers to finalize everything. After they took our deposit, they turned the tables on us and told us that we had to pay for mileage overage, when they swore to us they would take care of if we stayed with them. They told us we would have to pay for little nicks on our car when they swore to us we would not have to worry about it if we made the deal with them. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !! BBB rated F and here is why. Today I went back to correct something that turns out was improperly installed and was making noise issue #1 #2 When I get my car back I notice that they changed my license plate frames to Yonkers KIA.. I did have another dealers frames on my car because of the great experience I had at LASH KIA in WP I did not purchase my car from there because I felt like I was getting hustled from the start ... I bought the same exact car from LASH KIA for $50 a month LESS ! Not one thing was different. Not interest rate, specs, trade, nothing but the purchase price. I nicely asked to have them removed and the Service manger Frank told me that the next time I should take my car to LASH for service. Really Frank I think I will. Thanks for the advice. I will pass it along to others as well. #3 Finally when I drove off My Radio was on a hip hop station and ALL MY pre programed channels were deactivated from the radio and satellite channels .. There was nothing done to have the battery disconnected to cause this.. I only had an air filter reinstalled in the AC. #4 The very nice customer service girls at the front desks tell me that they are charged $50.00 from their pay checks if the customer service survey score falls below a certain number... even though the survey asks things like ease of parking and access to dealer etc. WARNING STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE unless you like to pay more and get bad service. Called the KIA dealer in Yonkers NY and the operator took my description of the car and budget I have and told me of a few cars that they have on there lot that could fit me. I drove there only to meet a saleswoman Liz nice woman but with know idea or knowledge of which car is which and then the sales manager joined us showing us some of the cars in the range we wanted while doing so we saw and he highly recommended a 2011 Rio with 12k miles and a price of 8800$. my partner and I discussed it while leaving the office and after 2 minutes returned to start the process of the purchase. After taking the personal info for the credit check they said that there is a problem with the credit service and can not retrieve the info right now. We returned later to finalize the purchase but found hat they sold the car and tried to scam us by telling us that there was a deposit on it but they didn't know. They had my phone number but never even bothered to inform me of that and I drove back 45 minutes to buy that car wasting time and money. One star because you have to give one or it would be less than zero. The absolute worst experience of my life. Darwin Oliva is a little, lying, scamming, cheating crook. I bought a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee for over $10,000 and the engine lights came on an hour later. Brought it back and they gave me a loaner car to use until they could have Jeep fix it because they said that Kia mechanics can't diagnose Jeeps because theyre not familiar with them. My Jeep sat at Jeep for OVER a week while both Jeep and I made hundreds of attempts to get the repairs authorized by Darwin Oliva. Jeep even showed me the repair report and they tried calling him 18 times in one day and they had his cell number too. Jeep told me that once they do the repairs that the car is good to go. Went to Kia on Friday afternoon and they told me Darwin was supposed to come in but didnt but when he does he'll call me. Never heard from him. Finally I went to Kia on Saturday after Jeep had my car for a week and Darwin blurts out that he spoke to Jeep and they said that the car isn't worth fixing. What? I spoke to jeep on Friday afternoon and they still hadn't heard from him. He tells me that he's going to do something that no dealership would do and either give me my money back or get me another car or if I want he would authorize jeep to fix it. Really? No other dealership would do that? I guess he hasn't heard that I have a 30 day warranty and he has to fix it. My salesman, Edgardo, who is really very nice and has nothing to do with Darwin's inadequacies, tells me to give him until Monday and we would decide. I told him that I didn't believe Darwin's lie because Jeep said that they never spoke to Darwin. On Monday 8 AM I went to Jeep and decided to fix the car. They told me that on Friday night after I left Kia a girl from Kia called Jeep and told them not to do the repairs. I went into Kia at 9:00 when they opened and Darwin of course wasn't there. I left him 3 voice messages and then called and texted Ed and told him to tell Darwin to fix the car. Ed said when Darwin came in he would tell him. Late Monday afternoon I got a call from Ed and said Darwin wanted to see me. I couldn't go in but he said Darwin would call me. He never did. Tuesday morning I called and left more messages for Darwin asking him when the jeep would be ready. Never heard from him. At 4:00 on Tuesday I called the dealership and they told me that Darwin was supposed to come in but didn't. they gave me his cell phone number and said they don't blame me for being mad. I texted Darwin and asked him when I could pick up my jeep and he tells me that the Jeep, my Jeep that I paid over $10,000 for has been back at his lot for days and is unfixed and then he tells me to come in tomorrow so we can talk about it. DARWIN OLIVA decided that he didn't want to spend the $1400 to fix the car even though by law he has to. I am still in disbelief. I told him that I want it fixed. He tells me no and that if I don't return the loaner car he's going to start charging me. What a little, lying, scamming, unscrupulous rodent he is. Now I contacted the BBB and Consumer Affairs.
