Westchester Toyota...a center for scam artists. I have been to Westchester Toyota only twice in my life. First time was to buy a car for my daughter around 8 years ago. We spent almost 4 hours in the showroom before we decided on a car and agreeing to its price. When we got to the Finance office is when the trouble started. The guy in there would not agree to the price salesman offered. He wants to add another $300. After a long argument, we agreed to his terms because we were tired of haggling and my daughter really liked the car we picked. The second time it was different. I wanted to buy a 2023 Toyota Rav 4 XLE. We agreed on the MSRP plus $1K mark-up. They offered me a discount of $500, then added $1,050 for pre-delivery inspection (PDI) and $515 for VIN etching on the top of MSRP and insisted that they HAVE to be part of the price. I am hearing if for the first time. In my mind I am thinking it's their responsibility to deliver me a drivable car and they have to bear the cost. I checked with my insurance agent, another dealer and checked online and they all unanimously said they never heard of customer paying such cost. I called my sales associate and told him the same but he wouldn't budge. Finally, I went to Fordham Toyota and bought the exact same vehicle for $1,700 less than what Westchester Toyota tried to rip me off. STAY AWAY FROM WESTCHESTER TOYOTA. THEY ARE CHEATS

    The bait and switch car.

Stunned. I'm absolutely stunned at how dishonest this dealership is. And that's factoring in the assumed general dishonesty of the industry. Short version of the story: I drove 3 hours to buy a car that they assured me was available. When I got there the car mysteriously disappeared and they tried to sell me a different car. I saw a terrific deal on a 2016 Corolla online on Saturday 9/20/2019. Only 17k miles on this car and it's listed at $13,792! This is about $1,000-2000 less than what other dealers seem to be charging. I called at 9:44 AM on Saturday and spoke to a woman named Sheri. She wasn't very friendly but she seemed direct. Sheri told me the car was available and if I made an appointment to come in I would get a discount of $500. She quoted me at $14,400 out the door. I told Sheri I lived about 2 hours and forty five minutes away and I needed to make sure the car was available before I took the trip up there. She assured me the car was available. I called again at 10:06 and made an appointment for between 2:30-3 the same day. I called a third time at 11:45 while I was en route to emphasize the fact that I was traveling a considerable distance to buy the car and I needed to verify the car was available. Sheri told me to hurry and get there before someone else buys it. After 128 miles of driving and well over $50 in travel expenses I arrived at Westchester Toyota. The building was in severe disrepair and all of the staff seemed extraordinarily uninterested. The restroom in the main showroom is closed down and so you have to go upstairs to find another restroom. The elevator does not work. Fortunately I am fully mobile but I feel bad for those customers who are not. I told them I had an appointment and wanted to see the car. They assigned a young man named Jay who told me he needed to find the car and pull it around. If you read enough of these yelp reviews you will know Jay. Completely uninterested in helping me. Jay wandered around for 15 minutes and finally came back to me with keys in hand. Jay led me out into the parking lot to look at what I thought was the car I came for. As we approached the car he casually mentioned that the car I had come to buy was not on the lot! And he proceeded to show me a "better" car. It was about $2,000 more expensive and with more miles on it. I asked him what happened to the other car. He said a customer test drove it at 9AM that morning and the check engine light came on so they sent it to the shop which is apparently closed all weekend. It makes me very nervous that a certified pre owned car with 17k miles would through a check engine light. This dealership has a culture of dishonesty and this "bait and switch" problem seems to be a pattern based on what I've now read on other reviews. Jay sat me down at a desk and told me he would get his sales manager. I sat there unattended for about 15 minutes. There was literally trash on the desk and on the floor. The manager was not friendly at all and Jay offered me an alternative car for the same price. One year newer but with 15k more miles. I reluctantly agreed to look at this car. Astonishingly this car had disappeared too! Overall I was there for 2 hours and did not look at any real life cars. If you are in the market for a car and are considering traveling a distance for a special car at this dealership beware! It's likely another bait and switch.

Do not shop at Westchester Toyota! They will try to screw you over with additional fees that they insist are standard.

On February 7th, 2026, I purchased a used 2024 KIA FORTE GT from Yonkers Auto Gallery. The car had only 19,000 miles on it, and I thought I was making a smart choice for my family. Unfortunately, just a week later, the car broke down on Route 9 and had to be towed because it wouldn't go more than 10 miles an hour. The check engine light came on, and it was diagnosed with a gas pedal malfunction. When Dutchess KIA did a deeper diagnostic, they found the car flooded when it rained, chewed wires throughout, and even dead mice inside. The wire harness and all the wiring need to be replaced, and the computer system shorted out twice. On top of this, I recently lost my parents and have taken on the responsibility of their home and everything that comes with it. The emotional and financial weight of managing their estate while dealing with this car nightmare has been almost too much to bear. This whole experience has been a nightmare. I've contacted the BBB, attorney general's office, DMV, and lemon law lawyers, but I'm still waiting for answers. This situation has already cost us thousands of dollars, and we're struggling to keep up. I've missed important calls about this matter because of my work schedule, and my husband lost work because we had no car. We even had to take out another loan just so he could start working again. In the meantime, I lost my job as a preschool teacher of 23 years due to the mental and emotional stress this has caused. Saying goodbye to my second home and dealing with the loss of my parents has made things even harder. Knowing that a dealership can get away with something like this is heartbreaking.

I was misled about the financing terms and later discovered I had been charged for an additional coverage that was never disclosed to me and that I did not authorize. When I raised the issue, I was assured that the unauthorized charge would be refunded. Weeks have passed, and instead of resolving the matter, the company has stopped responding entirely. Being ignored after raising legitimate concerns only reinforces the lack of honesty and transparency I experienced. I am now forced to consider legal action to recover what should never have been taken in the first place. I strongly urge potential customers to scrutinize every document carefully and think twice before doing business here. Buyer beware.

I was looking for a Honda Odyssey Touring for my growing family and wanted a straightforward process with the best possible price--and Michelle delivered beyond my expectations. She made it incredibly easy for us to walk in, sign the paperwork, and drive out in our new car--all within 20 minutes! In total, I probably spent only about an hour communicating with her because she was so efficient and attentive to my needs. Jordan guided us through the signing of paperwork and he was a pleasure to work with as well. I cannot recommend Honda of Yonkers and Michelle highly enough. If you're looking for exceptional service and unbeatable deals, this is the place to go. Thank you for making the process so seamless and helping us get our new vehicle!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE…read more Let me share my experience with Yonkers Kia. I purchased a used car from them, and it only came with one key. When I asked about the second key, I was told they didn't have it. Instead, they issued me a "We Owe" agreement, stating that I would need to purchase and program a new key myself, and they would reimburse me. I followed their instructions. In December, I submitted the invoice for reimbursement--and I am still waiting to be paid. Since then, I've had to call multiple times, re-submit the same paperwork more than once, and constantly follow up. Each time I reach out, I'm treated dismissively, like I'm the one causing the issue. I never receive callbacks, and the process has been unnecessarily difficult. They owe me over $700. At this point, it's not just about the money--it's about how poorly this has been handled. Because of this experience, they've lost me as a customer, and I would not recommend them to anyone. My next steps are to file complaints with Westchester Consumer Protection, Kia Corporate, and to share my experience publicly so others are aware. All of this... over $700. What a shame.

Unfortunately for him, I'm a grown woman, a mother, and someone who's seen enough of life to spot a con-artist from a mile away. I wasn't born yesterday, and I definitely don't fall for high-mileage lies dressed up in cheap cologne. His explanations for the numbers on the car were ridiculously absurd, it made no sense at all, I felt like talking to a 4 years old toddler trying to explain physics to me, the little guy was shaking as he was desperately trying to convince me to accept his scam.
