They had the exact type of oils I was looking for that the chain stores don't carry. DAS is now my new go to auto parts store.

Great service and products. They set up my car bike rack and they could not have been more helpful or professional.

After 5-6 months however it turned out there were two major safety issues with the car and Subaru did not assist or get back to me. Even though the car was secondhand, I did expect it to be fully serviced, and if there were any issues they should have been discussed. The two issues: front low arm bushing needed to be replaced immediately. Car was unsafe to drive. Cost $850. Rust around the brakes another big repair $800. I did not expect these repairs in my first year owning this car. What made me most upset was that Subaru ignored my emails. Because of this, I cannot recommend this Subaru dealer.

Tom reached out to me last week and said it was in stock and would only take 45 min to replace. So I made an appointment for today at 7:45 am so I could come and still make it to work by 9. When I dropped the car off I was greeted by Luis. I had explained I was there a couple weeks ago and needed a new tire. I said the tire with the flat was in the trunk and spare is on the front left. He said ok and off the car went. Fast forward an hour and I get a text and email from Luis saying there's recommended services that need my approval. The service recommended was to replace the tire that I was there to replace. Luis then came up to me and said they needed my approval to replace the tire. I said the approval should be the appointment I made to replace the tire. He said if I give the approval they can start. I said it took an hour for you guys to figure out that I needed the tire that I was there to replace in the first place? He said yea. I said I'm going to be late for work at this point. Please go get my car so I can leave. It then took another 15 min for them to retrieve my car to leave. I'm not sure where the disconnect is, but this is the second time I've had issues here this year. This process should not be so hard or take the time that it does.

I was assured these would be taken care of, but after the first attempt at repair, the truck was returned with a clear coat finish that was unacceptable--filled with swirl marks and holographic scratches. When I raised this concern, I was told a proper clear coat correction would be performed. Unfortunately, the second attempt also left the truck with poor results. On the third occasion, General Manager Phil personally assured me that a professional detailing crew would be hired to resolve the matter. I trusted this would finally correct the issue, but once again, the results were disappointing. At this point, the truck looks worse than ever, and the situation has caused nothing but frustration and wasted time on my end. I should not be forced to repeatedly bring my new vehicle back to the dealership for the same unresolved problem. As a customer who made a significant investment in this truck, I expect the dealership to uphold its responsibility and deliver the quality promised. While I could pay an independent professional to properly correct the paint, I strongly believe this is the dealership's responsibility to resolve at no additional cost to me. I ask that this matter be escalated and handled appropriately without further delays or excuses. Please provide a clear resolution plan, as I should not be left dealing with a brand-new vehicle in this condition.

I showed up but they couldn't find it. The man said once he found it, as he was sure it was in his warehouse, he would personally deliver it to my home. Two days later, no bed liner! So, I called and the same man said he would look for it and call me back in one hour. Guess what? You guessed it - NO call back. I then proceeded to call the GM, Steve, who finally picked up after having me on hold for 7 minutes. He sounded about as enthused to help as Eeyore would after having a root canal sans novacaine. Folks, spare yourselves the indignities and don't give these unprofessionals your business.

I am documenting my experience with Depot Auto Sound in White Plains, NY for anyone considering…read moreelectrical or custom installation work. The job was clearly defined before the vehicle was dropped off. A written scope and a detailed technical specification package were provided, including step by step instructions, photos, and reference examples. The expectation was straightforward execution. That did not occur. The work that was performed was inconsistent, out of sequence, and in multiple areas incorrect. A primary example was the handling of the main power run, where 2/0 cable was specified but an improper step down to 4 AWG was used instead. The firewall penetration was also left undersized with sharp edges, creating a foreseeable risk of cable damage. Equally concerning was how the vehicle was handled during the process. The shop, under Harry's direction, was aware the vehicle was scheduled for a two day window, with a return visit planned after a bumper installation to complete the remaining scope. At the time of pickup, the vehicle was not road worthy. The horn system was disconnected, and the driver side fender and wheel well liner were left disassembled. The vehicle had to remain for a third day. On the third day, after confirming pickup in advance, the vehicle was found outside in the same condition with no meaningful progress made. At that point, I began reassembling the vehicle myself in order to make it safe to drive. Assistance was only provided after escalation. There were additional unnecessary disassemblies as well. A rear fender was removed without any work being performed in that area and had to be reinstalled. The front wheel well and fender components also required reinstallation after correcting the cable routing. The only work authorized outside the primary scope was a review of horn wiring, and that was clearly stated to be at the end of the project only if time and budget allowed. That sequencing was not followed. As a result, I had to: - Remove incorrectly installed wiring - Re terminate 2/0 cable - Source and install proper glands - Correct routing and protection methods - Reassemble vehicle components that were unnecessarily removed The billing totaled $3,080 based on a claim of 18 labor hours. Based on direct observation and documented activity, that billing does not align with the work performed. The vehicle is equipped with a 3 channel parking mode camera, which documents when work was and was not taking place. That record does not support continuous billable labor across the claimed duration. Harry has pointed to experience as a justification. Experience should translate into controlled execution, adherence to scope, and accurate billing. That standard was not met here. Attempts were made to resolve this directly with him. Those efforts were not productive. The outcome is that full payment was made, and additional cost will now be incurred to have the work corrected by another shop. This experience reflects issues with execution, oversight, and billing integrity at the management level. Anyone considering similar work should take that into account.

The cable was getting pinched when closing the hatch and under where he left the exess. He claimed it's fine for the wire to get wet--which is not correct. The work didn't meet my standards, and the job wasn't worth the $150.00 I paid. When I asked him to fix or undo it, I was told it would cost an additional $75 to undo the work and he told me my employees don't work for free which I found very disrespectful. At the end I had to go to another shop to get the dash cam wiring redone.
