Came in sept because there was a recall for a part (axel)with my Kia Optima. Apparently 2016 Optima cars were getting into accidents because the axel would crack in the middle of driving or while stopped at a light. after the service was completed I was told that the part that was supposed to be recalled was fixed and it was now safe to drive my car. I came in May 8for a regular oil change and the lady who was checking me in asked me about the recall and if I ever had it done I explained to her that I was in in September and I was told it was fixed. She replied that it was never done and I told her you can't be serious? I was driving all this time with part that was damaged ? I could of gotten into a crazy accident or died . She was not very Interested in anything i had to say. She told me they would order the part and they would call me in a week. that never happened. On a Tuesday I call to inquire about a remote start installation... the girl says she will have someone call me back. Guess what?... nobody calls. So, 2 days later I call again asking about a remote start installation... the same girl tells me that she will "personally make sure someone calls me back" BAHAHAHAHAAAA!!! Wow!!! This dealership is the textbook example of "BAD DEALELERSHIP" and bait & switch. Thank God I fought hard to keep them as accountable as possible because they pulled off the same typical bad customer service that we've heared about or experienced. The vehicle (Mercedes Benz GLK350) they were trying to sell me didn't pass inspection a day before vehicle pick up and as the salesman and GM stated, had frame damage. Kia company as a whole are very unprofessional and do not care about their customers . I had to move out of state and I was leasing a 2019 Kia and I was waiting for a month for Kia to send a copy of my title to the dmv. I Requested a state to state transfer . I called every week for a update and kept hearing wrong information . How the dealership should have my title oh wait no kid finance should and they didn't . I even called the leasing company they couldn't even tell me if they had it which is crazy since they should . Than after a month of harassing them after not able to drive my car because I couldn't even register my car in the state and get plates they tell me the dmv mess up when I lease my car 7 months ago they never received my title and somehow the old company I used to lease from was responsible for my title that it got mess up so basically this car had no title. They told me it got mess up with the dmv that now the dmv has to fix the title of the car which they couldn't even tell me how long . When I called New York dmv they inform me they never received a title from Kia when I lease it 7 months ago that for some reason I just had a old title from a car I previously lease . So basically I had to get a new car have a higher payment because I couldn't register my Kia in a different state . They are unprofessional no one wanted to help me kept blaming departments. Like no one had a title of this car . I am truly disgusted with them . They couldn't even called the title department everything was through email . No one ever knew anything . One word CROOKS!. please please do not come here. I already had a kia optima with 12 months left on my lease when I got a letter in the mail to come into yonkers kia and I might be able to upgrade my car. I was interested because I have 1 child and was pregnant with another and was thinking about getting an SUV. I came in and someone helped us right away. My husband and I told the guy what we wanted and the guy made us a deal we couldn't refuse. No money down and leave with a new Sorento today and they will buy out my lease from the optima. So we gave up our car and drove off in the new one. About 2 months later I get a letter from kia saying I owe them 6,000! I called up the corporate and they said the dealership was supposed to send them a check buying out the rest of the lease. So of course I called the dealership and the said they will call me back. Fast forward to 3 months later i haven't heard anything from anyone from the dealership and I keep calling and I all I get is someone will get in touch with me and which I have the feeling no one ever will call me and I am stuck paying 6,000 on top of my payments for my new car which is 100 more than my old car payment. If i had known this was going to happen I would of just stayed with my car until the lease is up. If i dont pay the 6,000 my credit will be shot to hell. So thanks yonkers kia for ruining my credit I worked so hard to build because I honestly don't know how I will be able to pay the 6,000 which I honestly shouldn't have to pay. i will not be returning here....one of or probably the worst customer service in the world. someone mentioned having extra months put on their contract without knowing, same thing happened to me. i agreed to 36 months and received 42 months on a lease. i did not find out until i called kia corporate and i reported it. they were also confused because they've never heard of a 42 month lease. service...forget about it..from not returning calls, to bot giving information about your car for days, calling everyday to track that only one person that knows about your car, smh....i do not recommend anyone to purchase or service your car here. i will be trying out stamford for the remainder of my service. then i will be returning my kia never to purchase again. read more

We went to see a car in their inventory, called twice earlier in the day to make sure it was still available. We get there to see the car and it seems as though someone at the dealership had been driving the car as their personal vehicle. Trunk full, candy ground into the back floor mats, some sort of awful air freshener, body scuffs that were not in the original images and worstly, an extra 1000+ miles than advertised. They would not budge on advertised price thinking they were well priced. But at the other Kia dealerships they were offering higher model cars for less. The next day I get a call from someone there asking if I had come in for my appointment. When I told them what condition the car was in and what happened they had a "manager" call me back. So the next chucklehead calls me claiming to be a manager asking how he can make it right. I told him basically the amt I wanted to pay, and the amt I wanted for my trade in (which the other dealer gave me EXACTLY) what I wanted. He said he would call me back and he would make that work. HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK!!! Ultimately I went to another Kia Dealer right over the CT border, only 20 minutes from here and I got the best deal on a brand new car. Just drive another 20 mins into CT and you will strike gold. The people should be put out of business. read more

If I could rate this a 0 I would. I went with a friend to buy a pre-owned car. We sat with Hamza and test drove the car. He misinformed us of the warranty information. Evidently you don't get the remainder of their excellent 10yr, 10,000 mile warranty, which he said we would. We have since been back 4 times to try and buy the car and each time we were told something else. The staff here is not trained well at all. They each tell a different story and insult your intelligence. Our last visit we had an appointment to meet with a different salesperson and the general manager at 9am. We arrive at 8:50, the salesperson had to be called in and the general manager didn't show up until 10am. They couldn't find the key to the car we were looking at, the car was buried back in the showroom so we couldn't even test drive it if there were keys. Totally unprofessional dealership. While sitting there waiting there was a very irate customer who was having trouble with the service department so I'm assuming the service department is run the same way. The general manager obviously needs to train his staff to be on the same page, and he himself can use some training in customer relations. I will never go back here and will tell anyone who I know who is considering to go here to stay away. read more

If I could give this dealership negative stars, I'd give them as many negative stars as there are real ones in the sky! I had my car towed to Yonkers Kia because it was the closest Kia dealership that my insurance would pay for and was the closest to late-night transit into NYC. I've never dealt with a more UNPROFESSIONAL and INCOMPETENT service department in my life! There is ZERO sense of urgency in their service advisors and I had to do ALL the follow up because they would never proactively call me with updates or return my messages. What should have been a one or two-day fix turned into a two-week ordeal. They claimed there was a delay in receiving parts, but couldn't tell me when they would arrive. When they finally arrived, I was told a specific time that the car would be ready. Mind you, it takes me two hours to get there via public transit. I arrived mid-afternoon and was told that it would take an additional 2 hours before the car would be ready because the parts that arrived (the previous week -- not the ones they were waiting on) were never inspected and were broken, so they had to go get new parts AFTER I arrived. I finally get my car back after two weeks and a week later, I have to take my car to a DIFFERENT Kia dealership because the work their service technicians did not only failed, but made the situation worse. THEY WILL SAY ANYTHING JUST TO GET YOU TO COME IN, THEN THEY MAKE IT SEEM LIKE IT IS YOUR FAULT THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE THE CAR. I called and spoke with a very nice receptionist who told me that the car I was looking for was sold but, after speaking with the manager, I would be able to come in and take a look at it (just to see if I liked it) When I arrived, I spoke with a manager and I complimented him on the very professional person with whom I spoke on the phone. So far so good. The manager then passed me on to a salesman who was unsure if they even had the car. I went back to the manager and asked what was going on. The manager said that they have the car but it would not be in the show room for about another 45 minutes. I told the manager that they should have been honest with me and not make an appointment when the car was not ready to be viewed, The manager looked at me like I was from Mars. He kept saying " we have the car" despite the fact it was obviously not on site, as represented to me on the phone. I drove 35 minutes out of my way specifically to the dealership because they said they had it. No apology, No attempt to even claim it was a misunderstanding. If this is the way they behave before they have your money, imagine what they are like once they have your money. I welcome an opportunity for them to contact me and make this right. read more

I was helping out a friend buy a new car. We went in on a Friday afternoon and it was odd that there was no one in the show room. Only after did I learn that some salesman were outside smoking. You could smell it on them when they returned. We were attacked by sales hungry dealers that we practically had to fend off with a stick. When we said we would look around and ask for help when we were ready we were not left alone. I told my friend about a car and the salesman started talking over me about the car. When we moved to another car, we were followed. We finally were ready for help and AJ the salesman said he could not give us a price until we gave all of our personal information. I have seen this tactic many times in other dealers and it gets annoying. They just really want your phone number so they can call you to death. Furthermore, this time we were asked for a driver license. When the guy came back with the price he got from his manager, while it did sound good he then proceeded to add a thousand dollars in extras which put the price way high. When we asked to see the car to figure out if it was worth it, he said he thought he had it in stock with the options my friend wanted but he was wrong but he had it in the higher package which of course adds a lot more money. Ahh. the classic "bait and switch". I told my friend we should leave and AJ got upset and got his manager. We started to walk out and were followed by both of these greedy people. My friend did get a Kia, but not here. He had to go to Kia of West Nyack to get a better deal without the lies. It is so sleazy in Yonkers Kia, it's not even funny! I would like to add, another friend of mine who did buy his car here told me they tried desperately to add more money to his monthly payments and the service department is just terrible. He said besides making him wait 3 hours for an oil change, the seat handle came off his rear seat when trying to put the seat down and the service department blamed him for pulling it too rough. He said the 10 year warranty sounds good, but then they try to blame you for everything. The other reviews seem to agree with my assessment of this place and I strongly advise you not to go here. Where to begin I live in ct and drove here because they said they had 3 cars when I called in the morning to double check. An hour into my drive they called and said they only had 2. One was out getting a new engine put in it (they didn't know this in the morning when I called 3 times) We got there and they made us valet our car even though we knew they would want to see it for our trade in appraisal. Of the other two cars that would be ready when we got there (2 hours later and about 40 minutes after our appointment because of traffic) neither were ready for us to look at one was a mess And parked in a snow bank. It was not the color we were told and the pictures online conveniently didn't show the fact that it had been torn up to the point the rear seats and seatbelt a were duct taped together (this was a 2012 sorrento so not typical wear and tear) and the other one was priced above the online price. But this was not the kicker. If all that wasn't enough we decided we would go grab lunch and think about purchasing the third car regardless of the price but when we went to leave we found out that the valet had lost our keys. The valet insisted we never gave them to him regardless of the fact he moved out car several times. We told our salesman who told the sales manager but after 2 minutes of looking no one cares anymore. We had brought our spares because we were planning on buying a car that day (thank goodness) but no one wanted I find ours. After 10 minutes I kept pushing the issue and then 20 minutes and after a half hour I called Nissan got a quote for a replacement key and demanded either they find my key or reimburse me. By this point they finally began to take me seriously and everyone was frantically looking. About 15 minutes later I told them I couldn't wait all day and I had already waited 45 minutes. The sales manager told me I had to if I wanted anything. I gave him 5 more minutes and then 5 more and then five more for nearly another half hour until finally I had had enough. The sales manager couldn't even give me a check for the key apparently he no longer was so big and powerful and important and I got an I.o.u. Needless to say I hope this saves everyone the time and frustration. Don't bother here. The prices are low because the car are rough. They get you in the door and try to get u into something different than u wanted. They are disorganized a mess and very unprofessional. They have virtually no lot so to speak of and they do t take responsibility for a 300 key, how are they going to treat you if u have a problem with ur car. I will be purchasing a car in the near future and having been visiting dealerships to get an idea of what I like, can afford and can expect from the buying process. Danielle was beyond nice to me. I told her that I want a nice but affordable car and she showed me the Kia Forte and Kia Rio. I loved them! I jokingly asked if she had a pink Kia since she had a pink shirt on and had a pink nails. AVOID AT ALL COSTS I normally don't write reviews, but my experience here was so bad that I felt compelled to warn people. This was one of the most unprofessional, least-organized places I've ever been to. I came in looking to buy a car and, usually, in car dealerships, the salespeople are tripping over themselves to talk to you. In this place, it took five to 10 minutes before anyone even came over to inquire if we needed help. And the person who "helped" us, Kevin, essentially ignored us the whole time. I wanted to test drive two different models, and that process took two hours because they don't have the cars there. They have to bring the cars from a lot about 8 minutes away to the dealership. And the person who takes the drive with you isn't even the salesperson you were initially working with. And the guy who was with us could not have been more useless. He didn't know the answers to a lot of the questions I had about the car and seems uninterested in being a part of the whole experience. Meanwhile, when we got back to the dealership after the first test drive and I said I wanted to try another model, they said no problem, it'd just be five minutes because someone was out test driving the car already. 25 minutes later, we had been waiting sitting at Kevin's desk, ALONE. Kevin was literally wandering around the dealership, completely ignoring us and shooting the shit with others. He should have used that time to talk to us about the cars we were looking at and going over numbers for the lease. When I finally test drove the other car and came back Kevin sat down and was ready to talk numbers. Except he didn't seem able to do basic math. The lease payment he came back with, on a $23,000 KIA was equivalent to one I had seen for a $36,000 BMW. The math just fully made no sense. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

The manager, Sal, promised me that if I were to take the deal they were able to secure for me from a lender, if I didn't miss any payments for 8 months, I could come back in and they would help me refinance. 9 months later, I miss zero payments, come back in and no help whatsoever. He won't return my calls, I spoke to him one time and he told me to come in and the day I go in, he leaves work early. Of course. And their service department, took them two and a half hours to complete my oil change and I was one of the first customers at a 7:30am appointment. I negotiated a very good deal only to be told at the time of signing papers that my credit rating wasn't a tier 1. Never received a phone call from salesman stating this. Only after I returned my lease car, ripped up the registration and removed all my items from the returned car did they tell me this. On top of that they said my deal based on my tier was 80-90 more a month than the one I had already negotiated. The manager came in and tried to make it right by offering that I pay half. It definitely felt like they had a deceitful dishonest system to squeeze the customer at the last minute. Only after I said they had 20 minutes to figure this out and honor deal did they do something. I offered to pay 10 dollars a month extra, but in this case it was the principal. Had they told me the deal was going to change prior to coming in, at least I could have made that decision on my own. Not feel forced. Four years ago I leased a car from this dealership and it was such a horrible experience I never stepped foot in there again. Had to return the leased car today. I had read from previous review that there is a new ownership. Still I was skeptical. But I have to admit the dealership is totally different from four years ago. Thank God. Gone is the gong.! The rap music blasting has been replaced by Frank Sinatra and Duke Ellington. The rapid fire aggressive sales people who are so young I had to tell the sales rep from four years ago that his mother would be ashamed of him and his sales tactics, have been replace with seasoned, polite and cordial individuals. Daniel Toro, Sales Consultant took the car back without a sales pitch. Was highly professional and heard every word I said about my last experience. I like the salesperson (John); he was very helpful and knowledgeable and I love my Optima. The general manager was very friendly but he made a lot of promises that he did not keep - an ipod and accessories, for one, and there were many others. I had second thoughts about buying additional warranty; he told me that I would get something in the mail where I could have the added warranty removed and my payment would decrease. That never happened. When I tried to contact Darwin he never got back to me. All in all, I like the dealership but Darwin needs to keep his promises and give out truthful advice. They gave me an excellent deal but I felt like Darwin was the stereotypical car salesman. Even though we are looking to purchase another vehicle and I like the deal and service that I got, we have been reluctant to return to the dealership because of these things. read more

My girlfriend and I walked into Yonkers Kia unsure as to what car we were going to buy, or if we were going to buy a car at all. We had trouble finding parking as the dealership is located on a busy road. We found a spot not too far away and when we arrived at the door, Laz had said he was waiting for us and had actually come outside to assist us in finding a place to park. Before he even knew what we were doing there, he was trying to help us out. Very minor, but important nonetheless. We said we were interested in the Kia Soul. Laz immediately took us over to the floor model and let us hop in and sit down and adjust whatever we wanted. He then insisted that we take a test drive. He gave us the keys for the car and told us to go and warm it up and get a feel for it. Laz was nothing but helpful during the drive, explaining every detail of the electronics to the performance, what to do in certain situations. We were very pleased with the performance of the car and with Laz' service. We arrived back at the dealership after a lengthy test drive, and began to discuss options. He informed us we could drive away in a brand new car that very day. That spiked our interest greatly. Laz worked really hard to ensure that we were happy and comfortable with the numbers he presented to us. This is our first car purchase, with no major purchases in the past, so we weren't expecting anything amazing. That's exactly what was provided to us. Laz ensured that we got the absolute best deal possible on this car and he wasn't hounding us, like you would think a normal car salesman would be. He even offered to order us food while we waited! We ended up getting an AMAZING deal on a car that we didn't think we could even afford. We'll be driving a brand new Kia Soul home today because of the exceptional service provided to us by Laz. Because of this experience, it's safe to say that I will be back to this dealership in the future for my next car purchase. All in all, I had an amazing experience at Yonkers Kia due to the service provided by Laz. I recommend this dealer to any and all people interested in buying a Kia. GO SEE LAZ!! read more

I wish I could give this place negative stars. My fiancé and I went in full throttle to move forward on a purchase of a 2016 Sorrento. Meanwhile our associate worked hard to upsell us at all costs. However we stayed committed and knew exactly what we want. Despite us remaining focused on attempting to complete a purchase (with a sleeping and crying and sleeping again newborn) we waited over an hour an hour and a half in whole before we could begin the formal paperwork, because our associate was handling OTHER CUSTOMERS, and went off to lunch without notifying us. The staff tried their best to cover up and tell us "5 mins and he should be right with you", while we stared at each other wondering if we should continue with this dealership and associate. We were sold over by the gentleman's (Chris) apparent honest demeanor as he seemed apologetic and as confused as we were, blaming it on "lack of managers on duty" and not being blatantly negligent about attending his ready-to-buy customers sitting at his desk. This man not only kept us there for over 5 hours entirely, but failed to notify us of the enrolled college student rebate for purchasing and only preceded to honor it once my fiancé noticed it on his screen. He worked to grant us this offer but informed that we needed an official (sealed) transcript from our university when we indicated that I could print off from his screen for a student copy. As I could not do that according to him, we followed through with the purchased with the premise that this deal will include our rebate that he failed to inform us about. Last ones out of the dealership and we were content with our decision. Very soon things begin unraveling. We put in a service request for our steering wheel that had all of its threading come completely apart, waited a week and a few days only to be informed the wheel had been ordered incorrectly. To add insult to injury I paid for an official copy of the transcript to only be informed that 1. I did not need an official one and 2. That I needed to have that deal negotiated as part of the terms before driving off on that faithful day. From the start of this all the salesman knew my family and I were leaving to Florida and did not offer us a prompt solution. He promised to get us answers, even read me back my cell number to ensure accuracy and never followed through. We called countless times and left messages and nothing but the run around. Now we are in Florida, 4 weeks pass and still no rebate or replaced steering wheel, and I call this past Monday with frustration. I expressed my frustration, and his idea of remedying the entire situation was reversing the script on me. Alleged that we have not called him or left him messages, totally negating the fact that he himself failed to contact us and no other manager sought me to resolve this. He also justified his claim of my failure to follow up with having no reason to "duck me" because it wasn't "his money" (rebate) or department (steering wheel). I should've noticed that this was a poor choice on my part from that one and a half hour wait at his desk. PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE. Honda is right down the road and they're freaking AWESOME. read more

We went to Yonkers Kia based on all of the reviews we read about the Kia Sorrento. We had been driving a Toyota Rav 4 for over 5 years and were relatively happy with it, but looking for a change. Bennie helped us at the Kia dealership and he could not have been any better. He was patient and let us ask all of our questions. He gave throughrough answers that were very helpful. Bennie took us on a test drive of the Sorrento and we immediately liked the ride. Bennie went over the different options that were available and gave us the the scoop on what the best deals would be. We knew we wanted to lease the vehicle so Bennie gave us all of the leasing options. We took a few days to look at some other cars at other dealerships and kept coming back to the Sorrento. We decided to go with it and Bennie walked us gently through every step of the way. Everything from the initial test drive to driving out of the dealership with our new car was excellent. The finance guy Ali is also worth mentioning as he was also great. We are very happy with our choice and would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car. Let me start by saying the customer service at this dealership is despicable, they must be shut down, re-staffed and retrained immediately. I am at my wits end, and they have come against the wrong consumer. I went in this past Saturday at 9am for a regular service, oil change, filter, and tire rotation. One hour after dropping off my car, I received a call asking if I was still bringing my car in for service, hmmm really? Ok next call 2 hours later was to verify the reason I bought my car in, confused, as this was discussed prior to me signing in, and leaving my car for service. I was told I would receive a call when my car was ready. So at 2:30 when I called to see if my car was ready, and could not get a yes or no answer, I decided to just make my way back to the dealership. My car was outside, so great it's ready, was my thought. I went in paid for my regular service, was told they ended up doing a mandatory factory recall on an engine part, hmm ok wasn't told about, but ok. So I get in my car and start to drive, I realize my engine light is on, before you know it my vehicle starts hesitating, an almost a choking effect begins to take place, I am on my way to pick up my son from college, I am nervous, I now start to make my way back around to the dealership, when the car hesitates on me again in the middle of a U-turn almost causing an oncoming collision with the cars approaching from the opposite direction. Thankfully made it back to the dealer, explained what happened, they took it back down to the service guy, 10 mins later the service guy takes it out for a test drive, now, after my potential accident. How negligent can you be, you give me my car back with the engine light on and w/o test driving the vehicle after the recalled replacement. Long story short they killed my engine, then came to tell me the car was inoperable, I would need to leave my car there as I now need a brand new engine, mind you, my car is fairly new only 23k miles on my Kia Sorento. They said we have no loaner vehicles and no chance for a rental, as it was already late in the evening, I asked how was I to drive upstate to pick up my son or get to work, I use my car every single day? The service consultant idiot Efrain Barcos tells me to call a friend, what?? that's how you accommodate me, then when I express my distaste for his response, he then says well you tell me what I should do maybe you are smarter than me, wrong response!! then he claimed early Monday morning he could have someone from the rental place pick me up so I can at least make it to work. I start calling early Monday, being told back to back he was with other customers. I asked my husband to leave work early and take me to Kia, as it was obvious I was not going to get an answer over the phone, I get there he's letting me know he was busy and working alone, so basically screw me. I asked for the Manager, they directed me to the Edwin Gil, ok maybe now I can get the respect and customer service I deserve. I was wrong again, he listened to my concerns, apologized and told me he would have a loaner Kia Sorento available for me that evening, I had his word, I left to at least put in a half day at work, I returned after 5 pm only to hear, a claim of an insurance issue on the vehicle and that I would have to get a rental. Edwin then tells me you're all set at the rental place we have a car on hold for you there. I make it to the rental place they tell me yes Kia called, but did not put a vehicle on hold, they were told someone from Kia would call them back, what?? how much more can I take. The rental associate then reaches out to Edwin to let him know, they only have SUV's available and it will be higher than the price they usually pay, he tells them he can't do that, what?? so screw me again basically, I had to get on they phone, lose my composure and yell at Edwin to actually have him approve a vehicle, I mean he said the original loaner Sorento would be available the next day, so what was the big deal right?? so it was a lie I call to confirm the loaner today, and the date has been pushed to Friday really?? they haven't even filed the claim for my replacement engine. I am suppose to turn in my lease in a month one more car payment to go, and this is the thanks I get for leasing through Kia, a big F-u. I got consumer affairs involved, and have reached out to my legal advisor. I am done playing with them , I have been spending money and losing money since that day trying to get around and get to work. Now Edwin suggests I take a Kia optima, I drive a Sorento for a reason I have a big family, and need to transport my eldest back and forth to school, what the heck is the issue, who is the GM of the dealership? I am sick to my stomach from the lies, simply frustrated. How much negligence and non- customer service must I receive before they simply right there wrong??? I have gotten vehicles from many different manufacturers but nothing comes close to the way we were treated here. We were helped by Bennie which answered all our questions without being pushy on making the sale. Everyone was friendly and are willing to help. One of the worst customer service I have seen. I went to this dealer two times. Once for 2015 Toyota corolla. Picture posted on there website were very good and you will fall in love with the car. But when you will actually see the car you will find that car has so many scratches. And they will start showing you another vehicle. And try to convince to buy that vehicle. Actually like another car but didn't bought it due to old car and high price. So I left. Second time when I went to see the car it has same issue of scratches all other the place. And same sales guy(Victor) was there to show me car. I liked the car and decided to buy it. He added tone to charges to it and car which actually costing $14075 was costing around $17500 without tax and DMV fee. And he also told me that last time I wanted your business but this time not(Poor owner is having employee who don't want to sale the car). Moral of the story NEVER GO TO THIS DEALER. read more

I am only giving a star because you have to give it to leave the review. This is a horrible dealership. I came in January 2019 because my 2015 Kia Lease was about to end. So after many hours I turned in my 2015 kia optima and lease and started my new lease on a 2019 Sportage. My old car was turned into them and I left with my new car. Part of the sale agreement was that the dealership would payoff all fees that were left on the 2015 lease. After having my car for about two months I start receiving calls from Kia that my 2015 lease payments were due and that my 2015 car has not been turned in. I go back to the dealership and explain the situation to the staff and immediately they start informing me that they are new management and my sale was done by the old management. So they offered to help and remedy the situation. I have had both Emily and Andrew promising me that this will be solved. Here we are 10 months later and my 2015 lease is still open. Noone at this dealership is clearly doing their job! read more

I've been with Yonkers Kia for well over a year now. The rest of my experience with them has been miserable!!! The manager who helped us, Keathon, left shortly after we leased the car. No one else in this Kia branch cares for any concern you may have. No one returns a phone call and when you do get a person on the phone they are rude. We went for our first oil change and they had us waiting there for hours only to find out the guy out front forgot about us altogether. Also, After this miserable winter, and the pot holes that resulted, we got 3 flats with their terrible (supposedly high quality) tires. When we called to inquire about coverage, it took several days to talk to someone and we ended up paying pep boys on three separate occasions for a new tire. They also informed us there was no such thing as a premium insurance with them that would cover the tire replacements to begin with. Even though at the signing it was one of the things they sold us on specifically. The media system in the car is shotty as hell, because it is not very compatible with the newer smart phones. The wireless AUX is Constantly cutting in and out. Again, calling them to fix it is a lost cause. The car was new when we got it and it's the highest luxury trim of the optima. You would think it could at least hold up longer than a year! Actually, I'm sure these would be small fixes and the car would still be just as awesome as the day we signed for it. I personally still like the car but the service has compromised the value of the vehicle. I will never do Kia again thanks to this damn dealer! I was hoping to buy, but once the lease is up, I will spend the comparable amount we're paying for a true luxury brand. From a marketing standpoint, Kia wants to be placed alongside the other luxury brands but their cars will not stand a chance if they don't optimize the low budget customer service of Yonkers Kia! read more

Yonkers Kia are scam artists. I bought a car from them about 2 months ago. I found the price through my organization's website. The website promised that the dealers affiliated with the website would honor the price that it's listed for, if printed from the website. When a rep from the office contacted me, named Shantelle...she confirmed that I will pay the price for the car that I saw it for and also said if the car was sold..they would try their best to price match on another vehicle. When I got there the car was still there and I gave Julio, my sales rep, the price certificate that the car was listed for, so they took it. now I'm sitting there for hours and hours waiting to get approved, waiting to get the car ready. no one ever came and told me that they were not honoring the price of the car certificate.they were trying to sell me a 2011 accord which I saw for a little over $13,000 for a total of $22,000. I was beside myself because of course we already signed the contract. so at this point I wasn't happy with my purchase. And what made it worse was that when I finally got the car, Julio told me it was detailed and ready to go and I left at night (cars are pretty at night), but when I came out the next morning....the seats were filthy, there was a plug in the tire...so at this point I'm livid and I take it back to the dealership to either try to get my money back or try to get a lower payment or something. they couldn't give me my money back but there was this manager, who was so helpful he took a thousand dollars of the commission of Julio, because Julio didn't give me the information that he was selling my car to me for the price it was sold. couple days later the rotors started acting up and it was said that they needed to be replaced and then the check engine light came along with the p0420 code and they told me it wasn't their problem..oh wait there's more..took it to Jiffy Lube for a standard oil change. The manager there told me that he could only tell I just bought the car from the temporary registration in the window, because he couldn't tell under the hood.he said it looks like nothing was changed under there for at least 6 months to a year. I needed air filters changed, all my fluids were low or non-existent and I had to end up paying $200 by the end of my Jiffy Lube trip just because Yonkers Kia did not replace all the things that needed to be replaced under the hood before they sold it to me..never again..... read more
