Just bought my brand new Kia Sorento yesterday at this dealership and had an amazing experience! The staff was so friendly, eager to help and very knowledgeable. They were patient in assisting me to make sure I walked out with the right model for me that covered all my wants and needs. Literally zero complaints. Will definitely be coming back when it's time to buy my next vehicle. read more

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM My 80 something year old parents traded in their Hyundai TO KIA, and paid a $4000 deposit to lease a brand new Kia. They were given a contract stating which car they would receive and this would include a factory installed GPS. THEY WAITED OVER 4 hours in the dealership to complete the paperwork, and hand over their existing Hyundai only to find out that the car that Kia wanted to deliver was not the one contracted for. They were forced to relinquish their car and told to come back (by the owner, Darwin) for correct car. One week later: I am at Kia now with my parents. Darwin, the owner is now telling me that my parents wrote in the contract that the car would include a GPS and that this was not written by Kia. Basically, they are accusing my parents of being fraudulent. Furthermore, they were told that they cannot get their money back because" you can not un register a car" Most importantly, my parents have given up their car ( a car needed to get my father who has Parkinson's to al his doctors appointments), paid $4000, and have nothing. Basically, Kia has stolen from my poor naive parents because the "owner seemed so nice" read more

Lindi Dacaj was the most amazing Salesman. Made the whole process so easy from the trading in to my new Kia Soul

I ordered a 2020 telluride last 19th, and I picked it yesterday. Salesperson Lindi has been so helpful. It was a rainy day, he helped me with the plates, the docs, the phone setup and the documents with tons of patience. I really appreciate his work, so 5 star is for him. read more

I wish I could give no stars because this place was by far the worst experience I have ever had. We were there for 4 freaking hours today and have no car. They were trying to price my Jeep which I was trading in for a Kia and they said 15 minutes after 45 minutes we asked how much longer they said 20 they then finally came back with a number of what we would pay monthly. My husband asked a simple question " how could u give us a number monthly without knowing the appraisal of my Jeep" ( after they just told us it could Lower our monthly payments ) we waited another half hour trying to speak to someone the entire time that knows very little English. We left frustrated because we wanted TO BUY A CAR apparently they didn't want to sell one. After we left we kept trying to give Kia a chance to get us back in there so I can finally get my car but no. We called after we left and said please just let us know what the appraisal is for my Jeep and maybe we can come back. They said 20 minutes and never called us. AN HOUR LATER we called back again the MANAGER we were talking to ignored our calls 4 times. We then spoke to another manager who was a little nicer and said he would call us back in 20 minutes again. We made our final phone call after taking to someone 8 hours ago to find out that Kia IS FUCKING CLOSED. sorry for my language but this place is horrible. I can't wait to go to another dealership tomorrow and finally get the damn car I want. F this place read more

What these folks consider to be 'customer service' could very well be translated as 'passive-aggressive' behavior. They think they're customer service savvy but they're far from it. Been dealing with them for 2 years now and I'm happy to say I'm finally parting ways. Next step will be to block their number so's to put a stop to their incessant annoying reminders to come in for service. Something which is only mildly related to my core complaint. Buy something here if you wish but thereafter seek out someplace else to follow up with for your service appointments and such. read more

The poor rating relates to Service area. Employees are nice but space is cramped, the area is not clean and the wait is long.

I have not had any problems with this dealership. I bought my Kia Sorrento there and I love it. The service department is professional, organized and they took me on time. read more

This place stinks. No point in even writing a review. If you want a Kia go somewhere else.

I visited Yonkers KIA to lease my current vehicle in April of 2013. I have to say that the sales representatives were extremely friendly and helpful. I felt that it was a team effort in selecting the perfect vehicle for me, and I left with my new car the day of. I was able to test drive the vehicle as many times as I wanted before making the final decision. The reason why I am giving it a 4 star rating is because there was a bit of a long wait in between all of the paper work, which is expected as a first time leaser/buyer. Although, the process could have taken a little less time. All in all, I had a good experience! Mary F. read more

My husband and I are now proud owners of a new Kia Optima SX thanks to Bennie at Yonkers Kia. This was the first time we purchased a car and we are both very happy with the overall experience. Yonkers Kia was the first dealer we went to when we were in the beginning stages of buying our new car. We did stop by another Kia dealer before making our purchase and we quickly realized we'd be going back to Yonkers Kia. The main reason? The sales person, level of service and just feeling comfortable with the car buying process over all. We had a lot of questions and Bennie always had an answer and was patient with us, the sales person at the "other" dealer... not so much! We're glad we went back to Yonkers Kia and were able to work out a great deal. We highly recommend this dealer and please, ask for Bennie! You'll get great service and a great deal. read more

I was hesitant about this place because of all the horrible reviews, but as a first time buyer I figured these people were just exaggerating. My experience was excellent, I really wanted to shop around before making a final purchase but I just couldn't resist and Fernando Carela couldn't have been a more perfect person to help me with my new Kia Optima! He was awesome! read more

I have a 2009 Kia Sportage and have brought my vehicle to Yonkers Kia several times for various warranty and repair work. Yonkers Kia service department has not once been able to diagnose and repair my vehicle. This inconvenienced me further requiring me to bring my vehicle to other Kia dealerships to perform the diagnostics and repairs that Yonkers Kia service department was incapable of. In addition I have found food, wrappers and garbage left in my vehicle by their technicians on my last 2 visits to yonkers kia for service .Apparently management feels it's acceptable to allow their technicians to eat and leave garbage in their customers vehicles. Yonkers kia service department has disappointed me at every visit. I keep giving them another chance due to their convenient location however nothing has changed in the 4 years I have dealt with them. I would recommend that you avoid a dealer that cannot support the product effectively and efficiently in a professional manner. I'm done dealing with Yonkers Kia and will bring my vehicle elsewhere for service. read more

I wish I had read these reviews before going! My experience closely parallels that of previous posters. "Bait and switch" was the expression I came up with, too. I don't know what the Yonkers Kia staff gets out of having someone wait half an hour for a specific car that they "can't find," then telling them it's on the way from storage, then that it sold that morning. (If it sold that morning, why was it so difficult to locate?) read more

At this dealership, I experienced the worst service in terms of organization and competence and I cannot emphasize this enough. I made an appoinment for 8 a.m. in the morning 2 weeks ahead of time to have a backup camera installed in my new car. The backup camera was offered to me by the dealership for free for having left me waiting for over 8 hours the day I leased my new car from them. I was informed by the service manager that it would only take about 1-2 hours. 2 days before my appointment I received a call that said I needed to leave the car at the service for the whole day. I told them that was impossible because I have other things to do and could not wait for an entire day to pick up the car. After a long argument they provided me with a car to go home in and I left while they installed the back up camera. Around 4:30 p.m. I had a phone call that said they installed the camera and it was working PERFECTLY. I went to the service area to pick up my car around 6 p.m., but it was closed already. I requested my car and I ended up waiting 45 minutes for them to find my car keys. I got my car, without any explanation from the staff as to how the backup camera should function. When I tried to back up into my driveway, I realized that the camera was displaying the things on the left, on the right side on mirror. They had installed it backwards. I almost crashed my car because of wrong display of back up camera that YONKERS KIA INSTALLED. I called the service and spoke with a lady on Friday and she said they will call me back the following Monday. She repeatedly insisted that the backup camera wasn't her department's responsibility and that Yonkers Kia subcontracts that out to another company. They really stand by their work! 3 weeks have past and nobody has called me back. This demonstrates an absolute disinterest in service and customer satisfaction. The staff is irresponsible and incompetent and treats the customers like they are stupid. Their default response is: "So sorry for the mistake, we will fix it right away" and nothing ever gets done. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, as I traveled to this dealership on four separate occasions to have various situations resolved and they demonstrated their incompetence over and over again. They have no interest in assisting you once you have handed over your money. Don't make the same mistake I did- find a different dealership. read more

Very bad experience when i came in they said that the vin number i had (i had a print out of the true car details) was for the wrong car and top of that the car wasnt even on the lot the "manager" supposedly had it and he wasn't in even though i had called 3 times to confirm it was there and then tried to get me to buy another completely different car ***classic bait and switch! !!! **** never again !! read more

I hate to leave a bad review for a dealership, but the way I was treated makes it 100% necessary. I called Kia on Tuesday Evening and the receptionist told me no one could help me, I waited a half hour and called again, still there was no one who could help me. I assumed they were a busy high volume dealership, so i proceeded to do my research online. I was finally called back after three hours by an internet sales representative. She was very sweet, which is why I am not including names. She made me an appointment for the following day, we discussed numbers over the phone as well as packages in the vehicle. She told me to ask for her manager, which she provided me the name of. The following day, when I promptly showed up for my appointment no one was expecting me. I met with a different sales person, and when I asked for the manager they acted as though I was crazy. Regardless, I decided to give them another chance because someone was able to help me. We went through the entire process again, spoke about numbers and vehicles because there were no notes on my account, and they had no idea what I was looking for or doing there. Again, we came to a final decision and I was ready to put a DEPOSIT!!! on the car! I told the salesman I would call him as soon as I arrived home with my credit card that I wanted to use for the deposit. When I arrived home, the same receptionist answered and told me he was busy. I did not want to leave a credit card with her, so I waited and called back, of course she told me the same thing & this went on until they were closed. I called the next day, and the salesman had his day off. I asked for a manager to leave my credit card with, again she told me NO ONE was available to take a deposit on a car. Three days go by, and I hear nothing. I try one last time, with my last ounce of patience and I finally get in touch with my salesman, he acts as though I was never there, and he has no idea who I am. He claims to "remember me" and calls me "brother" but remembers nothing about the deal we made. He tells me the numbers have changed, which we all know they haven't, and he can't do the deal unless I come up with another $2,000. I have not heard anything from them since. To say the least, we will not be getting a Kia, and especially not from that store. Thanks for nothing. read more

I am here to update my previous review and detail what has been going on since. As my previous review stated I was extremely impressed with Yonkers Kia... that is up until it came time to get the paperwork done. I still stand by the fact that Chris was the best salesmen I have dealt with anywhere. It is now well over a month since I took home my new Soul and I am still waiting for a $200 deposit to be refunded and they over charged me on the registration (stating that any balance of what it actually costs will be refunded) I did get a check in the mail however it was almost $100 less than it was supposed to be. In total I am still owed close to $300. I have been calling and calling and anytime I get a hold of someone they tell me they cannot do anything about it at this time and to call back. Anything they promise you (unless you get it in writing) they will certainly not honor. I was so pleased when I was about to drive away in my car that I found the owner and congratulated him on giving such wonderful service. He said he really appreciates the comments and he would give me free all weather mats for the car. (the parts shop was closed that day so he said to come back). Well, with trying to get my deposit back for so long I did make many return trips and still no mats. (they also promised the first oil change is free, I have yet to actually get that) Getting a contract written up that I had agreed with from the start proved to be more difficult than it should have. They kept telling me "look you are already getting a good deal so what is the problem" I was supposed to get a college graduate discount of $500 that would not even come out of their pockets but rather Kia Motors'. I eventually did get the discount and all of the rebates promised but it took much effort and struggling that a customer should not have to do to get what was promised. They are selling good cars so if you are looking for a kia by all means go here and find what you want just please take some of the advice of the people here and be prepared. Get everything in writing, anything that is promised or agreed on get it in writing! All in all, the staff are very friendly when you are there in person. The financing people need to be more organized and connected to the sales rep that are making the deals. The issues all came about when the sales rep left and I was alone to face the financing people. read more

I went into buy my first car at Yonkers Kia, and the service was amazing. I was helped by Hamza Shahid, he was around my age so knew exactly what I was looking for and what I would like. Bought brand new Kia Sorento from Kia Yonkers. Sales Reps Julio and A.J. were great. Spent as much time with me as I needed, were very helpful explaining car features, supportive and not pushy. The experience was marred though by Sal, the manager, who practically accused me at one point of trying to cheat him and behaved like he was pissed off at someone or something all the time. I was ready to walk out of the negotiation because of his attitude. I also did not appreciate the overall atmosphere at the dealership. They have small hot salon with cheap tables and chairs, no air conditioning and stiff air, playing very loud pop music non stop. After spending 5 hours in the dealership going through the sale, I had a splitting headache from the constant sound assult. read more

I purchased my Kia Optima in June, 2015. From the moment I entered the dealership, it was obvious that customers are important. The efficiency and courtesy extended to me was appreciated. I worked with a really great salesperson, Chris Wilson. I want to extend personal compliments to Service Manager Darlyn Davis. On the few occasions I needed service or a quick adjustment, Darlyn made sure that I was immediately accommodated. Just this week, when I came for a required maintenance visit the same applied. Yonkers Kia is fortunate to have Darlyn on staff. She is an asset to your company and her work ethic will keep me as a loyal and appreciative customer for many years to come. I just purchased a vehicle, Kia Soul, from Yonkers Kia. The wait to see the finance person was a very long one and the music way too loud you can't hear yourself think. I had a problem with my windows being extremely streaky on the inside, from something; perhaps Armor All wiped over it. It took two trips back to the dealership to finally have it sparkling clear. In spite of these little negatives, the people were very nice to deal with. One in particular my sales person, Brian Dominguez, took the time to follow up and be very attentive, even after the sale. This was important at that time and could have been a much more frustrating experience had it not been for Brian's calming demeanor and follow up. This is what a sales person should possess. Thank you, Brian! read more

I brought a friend to this dealership because he was searching for a used 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited with a specific color and interior and this dealership had the vehicle. He was seeking financing with all good financial factors (income, assets, etc) and a good credit score (above 700). He had one blemish on his credit report that was easily explained. He was offered a double digit interest rate and was told that was the best that could be done. Having a financial and credit background I challenged the salesman to press the finance manager to go back to the 30 banks you claim you deal with and try again, because that wasn't the best rate that could be obtained. Separately, we went to a different dealership out of state and were offered a rate less than half of what Yonkers Kia was offering. The next day miraculously the salesman called with a rate at almost half of what was originally offered, but it still wasn't beating the other more reputable dealership. If I had not pressed them they would NEVER have lowered the rate which would cost the borrower thousands of dollars over the life of the loan. These deceptive and shady practices should be exposed and stopped. Shame on you Yonkers Kia. I would never recommend you to anyone! read more

I went to kia yonkers for a recall and I had scheduled an appointment for 8:15. When I get there me and like 14 other cars had the same appointment. I was already mentally prepared to wait 5-6 hours because we all know how dealerships work. I spoke with Jermaine in the customer service area of the mechanic section and her assured me I'd be out in 2 hours and to my surprise I was out in 45 minutes. He answered all my questions and was an extreme professional. Thank you read more

This is the shadiest car dealer ship in Yonkers. Aside from some other incidents the most recent scum act was when I took my car for maintenance and they tried to charge me 75 dollars for a new oil filter I refused. They said they would still change my oil and top of my Fluids. Lucky my father is a mechanic and he checked out the car and noticed my oil was beyond black and my fluids were low. WARNING AVOID Yonkers KIA! They do honor the warranties, they have a "Better Business Bureau" rating of "F". We bought a used 2011 Forte with factory warranty and an Extended warranty. Car was OK for about 1 year, then the A/C failed. Their service department is claiming "not covered" failure caused by collision damage. We never had any accidents whatsoever! A local certified mechanic examined the car and he states "this is a mechanical failure, no evidence of external damage". Looking at the tons of negative reviews on other websites, it is clear they are very unreputable and sleazy. Do not make the same mistake as I, look them up on the BBB. There is a good reason why they have an 'F' rating. read more

Worst car service ever was lied to at first day of leasing Kia optima turbo . I was told that it would be maintenance free of charge for 36 months. Went in for the first oil change after 3 months . These guys play games during the car-buying process; I got the one where the sales manager comes in during the finance meeting and announces that the car your buying was sold already (to pressure you into thinking you need to accept whatever terms they offer, "this is a popular used car!!") Salesman I dealt with made promises he never kept like "I'll call you back", or "I'll email you the information". He also gave me attitude when I asked him to show me a simple document (title).
