THANK YOU YONKERS KIA !!!!!! We almost gave up on Kia after having such a horrific experience with our local dealer. And then Marc from Yonkers "found me" on truecar.com and convinced me to drive over an hour to their dealership so they could treat us right...and get us back into the Kia family. And boy was he right!! A situation that not even Kia corporate could solve ...after three months of emails, phone calls, etc., Yonkers Kia resolved in a day!!! Thank you to Vinnie and John who patiently worked with us to figure out what the best scenario was ...a new lease? Purchase the current leased car? Even though our ultimate decision probably was the one that brought in the least amount of money to the dealership we were treated with the utmost respect and professionalism through the entire process. Even the owner, Frank met with us to make sure we were happy. I wish I could give them ten stars!!! Thank you Marc, Vinnie, John...and Frank!! read more

I have to say I was totally amazed with the experience I had at Yonkers Kia on Central Avenue. I typically hate the salesman spiel, so basically upon arrival I told the salesman I want to get straight to the point this is what I can afford monthly with no money down can you help me. And so he did! The salesman's name is Lou GASHI. Very very nice gave us what we wanted and we are very happy with our new Kia forte. Simple basic car just what we needed, great for the price per monthly lease. Lou is the man to go to. I agree there is no parking which is frustrating and the process took kind of a long time but very worth it we are very happy read more

I dealt with Yonkers Kia for over a year trying to purchase a Telluride SX. Last year they told me it would take at least 4 months, which I was prepared to do since the vehicles were hard to find. After six months of waiting with no updates or callbacks, I called to get my deposit back. It took them 2 weeks to find my information and get refunded. This September I walked into Yonkers and saw the car I wanted on the dealer's floor. I put down a deposit and informed them I was closing on my refinance within a week and would come back to finance the car once I was within two days of the closing date. They said, "don't worry, the car is yours." They gave me a printed receipt with the VIN number on it. I began purchasing accessories. When I returned to the dealership four days later, they had sold the car and didn't have the decency to be upfront about it. They told me they made a "mistake" after making me wait for over an hour, acting like they could not find the car. It may not be illegal, but it is a very unethical way to run a business. If you want a Telluride at MSRP, Yonkers doesn't tell you upfront they charge extra because the car is popular, go to the Kia dealerships in Stamford. They are charging MSRP and you can trust them. read more

I came into this Kia with no intention of purchasing a car. I came in with my 21-year-old daughter " just to look". After the amazing 5 star customer service given I was almost sold. After I met with the Finance manager Matt, and he got me into the price range I could afforded my mind was changed. Thank you Kia of Yonkers for amazing 5 star service and thank you Matt for your Financial expertise! read more

I went in there with my mind puzzled about vehicles and their employee Matt approaches me asks about my day showed me a few cars told me about there features not rushing but calmly and next thing you know I own my first personal vehicle today he took care of me and treated like a childhood friend I was very satisfied not many people break it down detail by detail all they want to do is make a sale and get it over with but this dude made sure I didn't over pay my limits and got me the car I wanted ! Need more employees like him ! read more

Juan Jimenez has been helpful in transferring my car lease to finance. He explained all I needed to make it not a hassle

For the record, HANDS DOWN, the WORST customer service experience I have ever had anywhere, buying anything, in my entire life. Not one time did this dealer follow through on anything as promised or in time, and I did not have my car, which was paid for in full, in working condition, until almost 3 weeks after I paid for it. In return, they were awesome enough to "give me" 3 years of maintenance. I would rather sacrifice my first born and scoop my eyeball out with a dull spoon than let this incompetent service department anywhere near my vehicle again. read more

Lies, lies and more lies. I read the other posts and decided to find out for myself, you guys are right. STAY AWAY from this "dealership" They advertised a used Kia Soul, I was told it had been sold, then I was told the deal was on hold, then I was told that the title was not available, finally I was told that the deal fell through all the while I was being pressured to put down a deposit on a car that was sold?? After I firmly told them that I would not put money down, I was told that the bank required a deposit or I could not get financing, then I was told that the bank put a cap on my deal and I had to pay the difference, all the while, no bank information was mentioned just vague general statements. I told them to shred my information and then got a phone call from salesman asking if I wanted a different car, when I said no, he hung up on me!! Never again! read more

I've gotten two cars at Yonkers Kia and I could not have been happier with them. Great service and selection, friendly staff and it's easy to schedule appointments to service the vehicle. They do their best to get you in and out quickly, and the process to get a lease is relatively easy. I would highly recommend a visit. My sales rep is Lindi and he did a great job! read more

Yonker Kia were very friendly and professional. I did my research and saw the car I wanted in Yonker Kia. My salesperson was John Molina . He did not give any sale pressure. He describes all the features of the car. We test drove it . We sat down and went through all the payment. He explained every charge carefully and honestly. When I picked up the car I, John went out of his way to pick me up since I am coming from the city. I am very happy with my purchase but would have hoped to have a full tank of gas. It was half a tank of gas. I had an excellent experience in Yonker Kia thanks to John. So the next time you coming ask for John Molina. read more

After meeting with appropriate salesperson, my husband and I had a great experience there with Gibran Bonilla. There was no question too long and everything that we asked was answered. He was also extremely knowledgeable on the cars and really did all that he could to ensure that we were satisfied being there. He was respectful, friendly, and cared for the work that he did. It was really the best experience I had when visiting different dealerships and deadline with different people. The financial guy who worked with us was also great. We got a great deal and purchased our first car! We are super satisfied and highly recommend to meet with Gibran! read more

Four years ago I gave this dealership 5 stars. Today I would give them zero if able. In the past 4 years I have referred 6 different people to this dealership who have purchased or leased cars there. I went back last week to get my new car because my lease was up. to make a long story short, they were unwilling and unable to make me a deal that was reasonable. Even insulting me with the numbers they gave me. After a couple of hours of going back and forth, they suggested that I put down a number that I could go with in good faith, sign a paper that I was serious, and even give them a credit card to show how serious I was. I did all this, and the salesman came back with a number that was $45.00 a month over what I had written down as my top number. I got up and walked out. The sales manager gave me my credit card back and told me to "have a nice day" and the salesman told me he hoped I knew that it wasn't personal. It was obvious that they did not care. I went around the corner to Kia of White Plains where in less than 2 hours, they creatively came up with a deal that was only $10.00 more per month than I was paying on my 4 year old lease. Needless to say, I will not be using Yonkers Kia, will not be recommending anyone to them, and will urge all to go to Kia of White Plains. read more

Deposits are 100% fully refundable. We aplogize that you weren't able to put a deposit down or take delivery of the pre-owned car you were interested in before your 2 WEEK vacation when the car was available. -I went away for 5 days. Yes, 5 days. More lies from you guys. The car was sold before you returned back from your trip. The car happened to be on our lot the day you spoke with the internet rep again. She was not aware that it was sold, however, since she happened to see the car on our lot that morning she was under the impression that it was still available. This as you know turned out to be wrong information and we apologize for that. -Finally, an apology for giving me incorrect information. Maybe if you guys did your JOBS and checked first, you wouldn't have told me that and I would have been on my way to another dealership. The vehicles wheels were being swapped out. In an effort to make good on our mistake, we offered you an amazing deal on a new car to make up for the mis-communication. -An "amazing" deal? Are you kidding? You offered me $2500 off invoice, which was from the two Kia incentives I qualified for. I got the same price from about 8 other dealerships, and I received 6 or 7 prices better than that from others. Telling me you got me the same price as the used vehicle's price is a flat out LIE. It was $1000 more. When a pre-owned car with an amazing price is available, we always let the customer know that it is wise to put a deposit down on a pre-owned vehicle so the customer doesn't miss out. Deposits are 100% fully refundable and if there was a deposit on the vehicle from you, the car would've been secured for you. We understand you are upset that you missed out on a great vehicle. -I'm upset because when it came time for me to actually purchase a car, you all were non-existent. No calls back, no emails back. Rich, you don't leave voicemails but you left me that unpleasant one after I posted my TRUTHFUL experience? How hypocritical. What is it that you (Rich) said? "It was the last day of the month. It was a nut house. We don't have time to go back and forth with people." Oh you don't have time to communicate with someone who actually wishes to PURCHASE a vehicle from you? How dare I try to buy something from your dealership! That was so out-of-line of me to think that you would actually WANT my business. Shame on me. Bottom line is you dropped the ball. Didn't own up to your mistake (until this half-hearted apology) and lied to me the day after to cover it up. A leopard cannot change its spots. There's a reason you have an F rating from the Better Business Bureau. Unfortunately I was hoping you were better than that. read more

They guys are in way over their heads and they really do NOT care about the consumer. I took a leap of Faith going to them because of their persistence in proving to me that they have improved the quality of their service and supply of vehicles. What they did to me was place 6 hard hits on my credit to push my app through which messed up my credit even more now. When I called hem back they did not even remember who I was. I recall it was the last day of August and the push to sell cars was on but that does not give them the right to try to sell me a piece of crap Chevy when I wanted a Honda and destroying my credit in the process. Thank God I did not purchase the car. Be aware...it will cost you more than it's worth to buy a car from these guys. Went to this dealership to buy an Optima and met with Edgardo. As far as customer service I would give it 5 stars. Edgardo was patient, answered all my questions and got me a good deal. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTIONS!!! I've never in my life experienced so much horrible customer service all in one. The service department specifically . No hello, no introduction, no have a seat, no can I help you. There was absolutely no control. I still can't fathom how I've been in communication with this dealership (due to the location being closer to my residence) for about 4 days now due to me receiving a " recall letter" for BRAKES which alone is extremely terrifying & there was still no decent feelings on the wa The literally , younger girl whom approached me 1st question out of her mouth was " Do you have a car?" Not, hello, how can I help you etc. nothing near the nature! And everyone just sort of kind of ran around with their heads chopped off. It seems to be absolutely no management. It's also seems like they borrowed help from off of the streets for the day.. I'm assuming! Just Terrible... I suggest this location finds some professionalism and some actual adults. This was the worst place to buy a car. They posted my car on cars.com with a price of $10,500. I went and test drove the car and decided I would purchase it for the price they advertised. The dealer that was helping me then gives me a price of $14,500. Mind you I printed the paperwork from the website showing the car in question listed for $10,500. They then give me the excuse that that was a typo. How does anyone get a "4" and a "0" confused when typing. Push come to shove I had to fight with them and threaten to contact the better business bureau in order to get the price that was advertised. About a week later I started having trouble with the oil pan. Being that the car was under their warranty I brought it back to be repaired. They had me sit and wait 9 hours before they claimed they fixed the problem by replacing the oil pan. A week later the oil light comes on so I take it to get an oil change so I took it to Valvoline. The guy there tells me the oil pan is stripped. So now I'm thinking how can the pan be stripped if they were supposed to replace the oil pan at KIA? I take it back to KIA, now annoyed, and let them know there was no way they changed the oil pan. So now they have me back in the waiting room for another 5 hours to tell me it was repaired. On my way home the oil light comes on. Now I'm furious I take it to my mechanic to take a look. My mechanic took a look and said "you need a new oil pan its stripped". Long story short I ended up having to pay $400 out my pocket at a real mechanic to end the nightmare at KIA. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. It's a nightmare. read more

I wish I could give Yonkers Kia NO stars because honestly that is what it deserves. I regret the decision every day that I took a Kia here instead of going to other dealerships and researching. They are swindling me out of my money for NOTHING. I am paying $400 a month lease ($350 for a 2013 Optima LX with maintenance and $50 for the insurance) for a crappy two hours that I have to spend servicing my car, when the maintenance program doesn't even cover that much. I have had low tire pressure on my car for two different tires for the past two services and I asked them to see if they could look into it, especially since I live in New York and am afraid every time I drive in the snow with low tire pressure and their excuse was that they don't do that there and I had to go somewhere else to get that checked out. The guy suggested I put soap and water on my tire to see where the leak is. THEN WHAT AM I PAYING YOU FOR. Also, with the maintenance plan, I am only covered for oil changes and tire rotations. Everything else has to come out of pocket which is completely ridiculous. Also, I have been a Yonkers Kia customer from the start and when two other Kia dealerships in the area closed, it was impossible for me to get good customer service and an appointment when I needed it. The wait time was A MONTH. They should have sent out a letter to all Yonkers Kia customers warning them of this switch so that the customers could have been accommodated to their new busy-ness. I would have been fine with that, but just like Yonkers Kia always is, it was disorganized, messy, and not for the wellbeing of the customer. I felt like I was pushed to the side as a paying customer of Yonkers Kia. On top of everything else, the waiting area is horrible. There aren't enough chairs for the amount of volume of customers that come into that place. So I gave my honest opinion on everything on the survey. Well guess what. I get a call from the person who was helping me saying that I got him in trouble because I didn't give him all tens. IM SORRY BUT I WILL NEVER GIVE YONKERS KIA A 10. NEVER. They don't deserve it. And I think it is completely rude that I get a phone call when I am at work to get yelled at about the fact that I got this guy in trouble. Honestly, this will be my first and last lease with Yonkers Kia. If anyone knows any other great dealerships out there, please let me know! read more

Be very careful if you buy a car from Yonkers Kia! My salesman, Mohammed Bseiso, was fine, he did everything he said he would, and I have no complaints with my car. My issue is with the Finance rep, Matt Adovic. The guy is a liar and a cheat! He sold me an extended warranty, that turned out to cover nothing he said it would. He said it would cover an additional 100,000 miles, bumper to bumper, even tires, and I could cancel it at anytime if I change my mind. Well i thought this was a good idea since I was buying a 3 year old car. I was never given or sent a copy of the warranty, even after repeated requests for the information. 3 months later, I called again, & got the name of the warranty company, and when I called them, they sent me an email of my coverage. Turns out, it's only for the power train and 24 months or 24K miles! Not quite what Mr. Adovic told me & sold me. I cancelled the policy in November 2019, and to date, have never received the refund of over $3200. I'm told it is the dealer's responsibility to refund the money, and could take 6-8 weeks, well its been 5 months and no one returns a phone call or email. Back in November I filed a formal complaint with the NY Attorney Generals Office in Westchester, to report the deceptive practices of Matt Adovic and Yonkers Kia. I'm sure that deception comes right from the top, as the dealer makes a lot of money from extended warranty sales. I will follow up with the AG's office, since no one at Yonkers Kia has responded. I have also consulted with my attorney and will call the Better Business Bureau, ABC7 on Your Side and NBC's Brenda Baquerro, and anyone who will listen. Total thieves, as now I have neither the warranty nor the money. read more
