Very good sales team made buying a new car a piece of cake. The finance team was great as well!

I called to inquire about a vehicle that was listed on their website and was told it was still available and would be ready when I arrived. 1 hour later when I arrived I was told by a salesman that he personally sold it that morning. A sales manager then said it was sold the day prior. I was then asked to look at their other vehicles because they had 7 lots of vehicles (bait and switch method). First I was lied to about the vehicle being available, then I was lied to about when and if it even was sold, and lastly wasted my time and money going there. They were very unprofessional and I would tell everyone to NOT do business with them! STAY AWAY! Also a few days later and the vehicle is still posted on their website to bait more people to come there, knowing it's not available! I again contacted them after I was told it was sold and was asked to schedule a test drive. What a joke! read more

Honesty they only care about money they don't care about customers. I took my car in for service and instead of them doing a correct diagnostics on the whole car they decided to only check the battery to make me buy a whole battery. Tell me that they ran a diagnostics and it showed supposedly the battery only messed up ;my car before the battery change would not start but would work sometime if booster was put . Now after them teling me I needed to change the battery can you beleive my car stop working one night . I parked it next morning no start up to the car . To find out after them towing my car they told me they should be able to fix the car same day that they couldn't fix my car same day cause they already had use the starters they had on other customers . So not only they sold me a dream and told me my car would be ready same day now I have to miss work because they are working how ever they want . I suggest if ANYONE want a car don't go to them cause they only going to rip you off and not work on your car in a timely fashion. Btw the battery wasn't even the problem ; it don't even deserve one star read more

Bought a brand new car here five years ago. One of the worst choices I've ever made! The service department is for lack of better terms "unprofessional". Can't even get the manager Edwin to call you back after he specifically gave you his CARD and told you to call him with any problems. Took my car there over 5x in less than 6 months for the same issue that they have no solution for. Dont bother making a service appointment because even with one you will wait 4 plus hours for something as simple as an oil change. Finally got a loaner car after them claiming Yonkers Kia only has ONE loaner car for the whole place, they give me a car with a huge crack on the windshield. When speaking to Kia corporate they also knew of MULTIPLE complains against this dealership and even they couldn't get in touch with the "manager". If I could rate this dealership 0 stars I would! read more

What a great dealership, I returned my old vehicle and leased a 2020 Sorento all in the same day. I was very please with my salesman Lou Gashi. I highly recommend this dealership. read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would because the manager there was so rude to me and she's clearly new because no one else has her kind of attitude. And to put the cherry on top my daughter Karen wanted to ask about a position and D'andra told her that she didn't want to deal with her. D'andra was so rude and so unprofessional I felt attacked. She didn't want to answer any of my questions and basically just tried to get me to buy a car. She didn't care about my needs or what I was looking for. I have been part of Yonkers Kia for 5 years now and I am so happy I went to white plains Kia instead. They have amazing customer service there and I will never plan on going to Yonkers Kia again and I am forever disgusted by that woman. read more

I returned to this dealership and was extremely happy with the exceptional customer service I received. This dealership has terrible customer service! They are very quick to "deal" you into a car and then you're old news. No one calls you back or is available unless they are trying to sell you a car. In short, awful customer service, terrible follow thru and nobody knows what they are doing there. Run and find any other Kia dealer in the area. read more

This is for their service department. Not sure what the deal is. They are kinda detached from work/reality/the universe as we know it. Went in to order a tow hitch, appointment for Wednesday. Go in Wednesday - "you have to order that, you cant just expect us to have that in stock"! Holy crap, I almost lost it!! I stayed calm, new appointment this week. We'll see. read more

I came in today looking to purchase or lease a Telluride maybe even 2. I am currently a Kia owner/customer. I was told as soon as I walked in that there were no specials on the Telluride when they have an online ad that clearly states otherwise. Sal the manager was willing to let me leave and said I was confrontational because he and his sales staff ate uninformed. Won't be back here and I'll be turning in both Kias I own and going to another brand. Horrible customer service. New management sucks. read more

Will not be returning here. Disrespectful and really pushing for a sale. The main purpose of my visit was to return my lease - which i leased from new jersey originally. The sales man was very pushy and everything i wanted he either lied to me about or tried to talk me out of. If you are looking for a great kia dealership i highly recommend gateway kia in denville new jersey! Great customer service, better parking and not pushing for sales. Completely different than this dealer. read more

Terrible experience. Just after leaving after 3 hours of waiting. They seemed disinterested and extremely unprofessional. Place seriously needs a remodeling as it it's disgusting. I DO NOT RECOMMEND coming here. I was told "We have other people besides you love" which was very degrading and rude. Will never come to this location again to look at any car. I recently received a phone call from Kia's manager apologizing about how we were treated. I will keep them in mind for the next time i'm looking for a car. Thank you for acknowledging my post. read more

This is a long time coming with this dealership! I've obtain 3 vehicles with this dealership and their who process and customer service reps are just terrible. ( Not everyone but a few bad apples spoils the bunch). But they main reason they are getting 1 start is because I'm still dealing with an on going case about rotors and services. I dropped off my car there on a Thursday and explain to them what was wrong with the vehicle. They said they will take care of it. Picked up my vehicle that Monday ( replaced brakes, oilchange and have someone replace the rotors) they shaved the rotors thinking that's going to do it. ( honestly idk anything about vehicles but if you GO TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP WHERE YOU BOUGHT THE CAR YOU THINK THEY CAN GET DOWN TO THIS ISSUE! ) I came back and told them the issue was worst then before and I was told that I will get a called from a manager. I never got that call. So I called the next day and the manager was in a meeting so I patiently waited towards mid day. I got the same response. I called the next day and the following and still this manager was in a meeting... this contained for a week. So I finally called Kia customer service in order to get my car properly serviced ( which is questionable because I have a 2018 kia stinger with less than 15k miles had it for a 18 months and it needs rotors... my other cars I've gotten from them never needed rotors replaced). I had to call them to check on my claim even though I've been assigned a representative for this claim and it's been going on for about 3 weeks now. Over all the whole kia customer service is not the greatest and it just pushed me away from recommending anyone for getting these vehicle let alone working with this Dealership! By the way I'm not a new customer like I stated before I've had 3 cars with them its just my first time writing about something like this! read more

I bought a Kia here and have nothing but bad things to say about this particular dealership. You will note mostly 1 star reviews here. Addtnly there are 153 "not currently recommended reviews" all 1 star at bottom of first yelp page nothing wrong w these accurate reviews bc those folks dont have lots other reviews they hide them down there. U shld read them and note 99% reviews here are 1 star. Wth! This business is a fraud. They use a model of doing whats best for them not the customer and all transactions are geared toward emptying your wallet and draining you of your time with a thin veneer of "fake customer service makeup" applied. Lots of yes mams and no sirs but basically they tell you how it is going to be and it always works in their favor. Until you pull your business away as I did. Bought my car for 15k and then asked about trade up value 8 months later when considering bigger car and they offered me 5k. Yup. Shade. They charged me 175 to diagnose a problem. Plaza Kia on the other hand in brooklyn didnt charge me a dime to diagnose they simply billed me for the part and labor to repair. And guess what? Plazas price was HALF what yonkers kia asked for the repair. Even worse yonkers kia diagnosed additional problems to the tune of hundreds dollars more (and days without my car if i did the "repair") that 2 independent shops said were completely bogus. Fraud? Yup. They lied about the time to diagnose and repair, canceled several appts last minute and wasted days of my time w leaving my car there only to hear they didnt have time to fix it, didnt have parts, needed the car longer etc etc. Shady shady dealer stuff but they compound it with the lies deception and inconsiderate behaviors. Finally i got fed up moved ny business elsewhere and was treated the right way at a different dealership where no exaggeration diagnosis repair everything was done in a half day for half the price and they said several repairs yonkers kia said i needed were completely fraudulent. Basically the vibe at yonkers kia is whack its amazing theyre still in business. Most people like me didnt read these reviews first I guess. My advice? Save yourself a lot of hassle and run dont walk away from this nightmare of a place. Btw @yonkersKIA I see you trolling the comments inserting your fake BS "oh we are so sorry and if we can help call us" trying to up your rep. Nice try. Been there done that you aint done sh*t for me and I was very specific. Keep your phony comments. read more

I have never experienced anything like what I went through at Yonkers Kia! Do not ever walk through these doors! We were greeted by Michael Del Valle, very friendly, very nice man. I was looking to lease an SUV. We spent a few hours with him and found a car on the lot that I really liked. It was late so couldn't test drive it and told Michael we'd be back. I made an appointment for 5:30 pm. on a Monday. When we arrived Michael was running late which was fine. We waited an hour before we met with him. I asked to take the car for a drive and Michael went to get the key. Well, the key was missing. We waited. There were 10 sales people running around the showroom trying to find this one key. Another hour. We waited. Unfortunately, there was a car accident across the street and all the salesmen looked out the window. We were forgotten for a while. Michael said we could test drive another Sorento which was sold already but it would be ok. We did not feel comfortable driving a car that was sold but he said it was ok. He changed his story and said it's not really sold yet. ?? Went for a drive and actually loved the car. Went back to showroom and the key still was not found. We decided to maybe crunch some numbers while they looked and we felt that the monthly price needed to come down a bit. Michael brought over a manager who was rude from the start. My daughter who knows leasing cars inside and out was insulted by him and after an awkward argument, we left. We were chased down by another manager who begged us to come back in and would make the deal we wanted. We should have left but went back in. We sat at Michaels desk and started the paper work , finally. His manager was great and very helpful to get this deal done.(by the way, no key yet) We called my insurance company, signed papers, my credit was good, and I was leaving with the car asap. After hours! They took the plates off of my car, and started the transfer..we were sent to the back where we met the financial manager, Andrew. As soon as we sit down he starts talking about my credit and some tier thing which I never saw before. Been leasing the last 10 years. He proceeds to tell me that my credit is not good enough to make the deal that we agreed upon and I had to pay 100.00 over what was said. Also, 1200.00 needed to be put down to cover first payment and taxes, which I had already agreed on. Andrew said it doesn't cover that and we'd have to pay more for plates, taxes, etc. Never! He also said he'd have me sign 2 contracts because it was late and the banks were closed so credit couldn't be confirmed. What are you talking about?? I got up, said I was done, and we were leaving..he kept saying let me talk...NOOO No more talking. I was DONE! I yelled for my plates back, my keys and my car...there was argueing and Michael was acting like he had no idea what was going on ( the whole time, by the way). We were being scammed..they are so crooked in this place it's not funny. We were abused and scammed! I am contacting corporate and giving negative reviews where ever I can!! What a JOKE you all are. All the sales people were loud and yelling the whole time we were there..smoking out front, laughing, very unprofessional!! Please, I beg you ...never walk through the doors of Kia in Yonkers! You have been warned!! read more

Wow! I finally ventured out to a car dealership after seeing a good price on a used car with reasonable mileage on it. The sales lady calls me the moment I click submit on their online form on their website and confirm appointment for 2.30 PM next day. She confirms the car I want is available. I tell her that I will be driving all the way from Jersey City so the car better be available the next day - I am assured it is there. She calls me again at 12.30 the next day to confirm I will be coming in as per the appointment. I reach at 2 PM and she assigns another associate to work with me. He asks me the color and year of the car I am interested and goes all over his lot looking for it - I am carrying a printout of their car's details with the stock number and everything and he doesn't bother to check his computer for its existence - and does not find any matching car in the lot. After 10 minutes of literally snaking between cars, he goes and asks another person also wandering in the lot and comes back with a suspiciously definitive answer - we just sold that car this morning! How the other guy knew exactly which car I was talking about with just the color and year at supposedly the biggest Kia dealer in the area, I don't know. Anyhoo - he goes back to his desk, finally, and punches some keys to confirm that the car is sold. I call the first sales lady on the spot, she looks in her computer and says "well it says available to me! Maybe it has not been updated yet" So its not updated for her but updated for this other guy? At no point did anybody try to grab the VIN and actually confirm with somebody else whether the car was physically sold or not. Surely they have records of what they sold that day! Next he says we have no other cars available matching your needs - I was looking for a 2014 Kia Sorento at a Kia dealership - so we will call you when one becomes available. He also claims Saturdays are very busy days when I can see sales guys strolling about waiting for customers with only 3 prospective customers around that I could see. They don't even bother to ask for more details in terms of what exactly I am looking for beyond the year and model. I am not holding my breath! If this is best customer service, then everything people warn others about car dealerships is absolutely 100% true. How they are not all over somebody who has walked in wanting to give them money is beyond my meagre comprehension. read more

Terrible service. I can't believe this issue hasn't been resolved after several attempts to fix a washer fluid dispenser malfunction that began within months of leasing this KIA soul in 2013. I came back to this shop at the dealer in Yonkers after a failed repair attempt and they don't even have parts on hand after service was scheduled and I returned. I can't see out of my windows and can't wash them while driving over 100 miles daily in bad weather on a dangerous highway and have had to call KIA national service department and open a claim to to enact the lemon law. KIA service had been unable to resolve what should be covered under warranty. Don't waste your time coming to this shop. read more

I recently called Yonkers Kia to inquire about a Sorento on their website. I live over an hour (and many tolls) from this dealership so I wanted to make sure the car was still there before I made the drive to see it. They (Latoya) checked the inventory while I was on the phone for about 10min and confirmed that they definitely still had it and that I should come. I basically went that morning to see the car and was told it had been sold and the internet had not been updated yet. I see that many others online had this same problem of being promised the car is there but it actually does not exist. DO NOT.... believe this dealer if they tell you they have something. ... Then they told me they had another car "almost exactly like the one I came to see but with less miles." After waiting several hours for them to bring it around to the show room, the car they had didn't have the one major item that I wanted in a Sorento (a third row). A few days after I got home from my wasted car day in Yonkers I noticed they relisted the same exact car on craigslist that I went to see and that .... does not exist. This place is the reason car dealers have a bad rep. read more

I should have read the reviews before going into this place. We were greeted fairly quickly by a young man that had on an entire bottle of cologne (GROSS). He was pleasant enough. My husband and I were interested in 3 of the cars on the lot but the doors were locked. The sales person went to get the keys and find out how much they were asking for each car. After waiting 15/20 min he returned and opened the doors then walked away. He told us he'd be right back. Another 20/30 passed and we went looking for him. He was helping other customers that had returned from a test drive. We asked him if he found out the prices for the 3 cars we were interested in. We were then asked to come inside and sit at his desk while he asked for the prices. Apparently, when we went to his desk he was upset that someone took his chair with the black tape on the arm rests. That took an awkward 5 min to complete. The salesman never even went to find out how much the cars were the entire time we were waiting for him outside. He had to find out from his manager the price. At this point we were done with waiting and just left. We drove down the block and found a little dealership and found a great car and didn't have to wait an hour to leave with a car. We went back to buy another car from them too. Too bad Yonker's Kia. You missed out on two sales. Oh well....... read more

As with other reviewers, my wife and I were initially concerned about having to deal with the potential for hard-sell tactics found at many dealerships. When we went to Yonkers Kia and met with salesman Daniel Toro, however, we had a completely different experience. He was very professional, had a pleasant relaxed manner, was not pushy, and was very informative about the vehicle we were interested in purchasing, a Niro plug-in hybrid. He also was willing to work with us on the price that we were negotiating for the car, and we were satisfied with the final agreed-upon purchase price. Daniel took the time to demonstrate the features of the vehicle during the initial test drive, and again after we eventually purchased the car. The only reason we did not give a 5-star rating (which we would give to Daniel himself) is that there was a long wait time at different points during the car-buying process, but Daniel would continually check in with us and apologize for any delays. We are very happy with our purchase. If you go to Yonkers Kia, ask for Daniel! read more

negative 5 stars, if i could. absolutely horrible. I was there twice, first time they did not have the car (Sorrento with 3 rows)i was looking for an their whole property, then I came back a few weeks later and there was no parking spot ANYWHERE to park my car, so I parked it half on the side walk and I guy walked up to me in a kai shirt and yelled at me very rudely,"give me your keys" and I asked, who are you and why are you talking to me like that. he said I will get a ticket and he will park it for me, I asked, where he would park it and he answered that he will find a spot. Please avoid this establishment at any cost. Their customer service is horrendous. If you call, you are transferred so many times to different receptionists and no manager will speak to you or try to assist. It has now been two weeks since I picked up my Kia Optima from service, and the dealership has yet to return my electronic key and service manual. The service department forgot to leave the key inside, (as previously arranged for the late-night pickup), necessitating the use of a spare. I later noticed that the leatherbound manual was also missing. Repeated calls to the dealership have resulted in countless promises to mail both back to me, but, to date, I have neither. Each time, there is a different excuse and the service representative responsible now treats me as though I am annoying her with my calls. The lease is up in a few weeks, and I am expected to have both upon return. read more
