Shout out to Julio Grullon man. I just went over to take a look and see the cars as I had done some research and wanted to see if I would be interested in getting a Kia. I met Julio there who asked me as many questions as he could possibly think of just to get a feel and find out what would be the best car for my budget and I went in just to take a look but I was more amazed with his service that I decided to get the car on the spot. Very much huge thanks to Yonkers Kia and Julio Grullon for assisting me and helping me choose the right car. read more

Moving to NYC all the way from California, I have been very wary about who I take my car too. Although hesitant to take my car to a dealership, I did. Darwin, the general manager, called me PERSONALLY to handle the repairs on my car. He was extremely COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL and HELPFUL. As a customer, you can tell he does everything possible to earn his customer's trust and appreciation. The service department returned my car in better condition than it was taken in, as if it got a makeover. THANK YOU to Darwin and his team for fixing my car. Their help is beyond appreciated. Based on previous reviews, I think they are really beginning to step their game up! read more

I went into Kia to just look at cars needing to purchase a new SUV. Tierra was such a pleasure to work with! She made our car shopping experience so easy and never once did we feel like we were being hard sold or pressured. I have had 3 Suv's prior to this one over many years and this experience was the best thus far. I recommend if you are looking for a new car, I highly recommend checking out Kia. I went home with a beautiful Burnish Copper Sportage and could not be happier. I really owe a lot to Tierra for allowing me to take my time and make a decision that felt right for me. Shame on them. I bought a KIA from this dealership seven years ago. When I recently called to see what they could tell me about an engine failure, they tried to sell me another car THAT DAY, but did not respond to a request for help in determining why a supposedly reliable car had failed literally days after going out of warranty. My repeated attempts to get someone on the phone - the car salesman i met, the dealership manager - were totally unsuccessful. Nobody was ever 'in.' As I hope to write a longer consumer article about this, I won't go into every detail. All I can say is, DON'T GO HERE. read more

My lease was up and I was helped by Sebastian. He was very professional, attentive and made sure all my needs were filled and worked with my request. Went for. Recall and had them diagnose my door lock and cane out with no radio. Said was a coincidence that it just went. No one with an ounce of common sense would ever by that story. And they see a female alone and show implicit bios and take advantage to push there error away from them. I don't believe they meant to break my radio and all the Kia forums. Have assured me they cut the power somewhere. After sitting there hearing people come in with complaints should of been my first sign. To just leave. They didn't have the decency to call me that my car was outside with key was the first sign of guilt. They would of had outside waiting for hours. Do u feel that is correct or responsible. This dealership is horrible. DO NOT BUY ANY VEHICLE FROM THEM. The salesman AL HAMILTON seems very nice but he's not focus, he forget things very quickly. He write numbers down on paper but when it came time to make the deal things had changed. He held onto my 2nd key over an entire weekend, he doesn't return calls promptly. Yonkers Kia sold me a new car with damage to the hood. I went back to complain they supposedly had ordered the part. That was supposed to ordered on a Monday and come in on a Wednesday. I called on a Saturday morning my part was never ordered. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and they are rated a "F". How can they say " THEY ACHIEVED BY MAKING SURE ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE 100% SATISFIED WITH THEIR PURCHASE AND SERVICE NEEDS". If I can give less than one star I would. BUYER BEWARE! After sitting down with the sales manager, Mike Romano, we made a deal to lease a 2020 Telluride. The car was not in stock, but was on its way for a delivery date within 1 to 2 weeks. I specifically stated to him that I am without a car, but I am willing to wait. He assured me there would be no problem. Even gave me the sticker with the Vin number. I put a deposit down on the vehicle. After two weeks, text messages and calls not returned, I went down in person. I was told the car would be in this week. I received a call from the sales consultant Wednesday that the car is in and I can pick it up Friday. Today I received another call from another sales person stating that they made a mistake, that car was not mine. I asked him what the Vin number was. He told me that it is the Vin number, the same Vin number but it was sold. That the sales manager made a mistake. I told the sales rep that sales managers know what cars are sold and what cars are not sold. After I told him that it was nonsense, he hung up on me. They shopped the car to get a better price. They left me since June 11 without a car. To make matters worse, the sales personnel, most of them were walking around without facemasks on. I found them to be not only unethical, but very unprofessional. Stay away!!!! read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DEAD, BUT ONLY AT YONKERS KIA I am a woman with fifteen years of customer service experience who's been a happy customer at Honda for about 9. I am loyal to the brand that I trust. The only reason I set foot in a Kia dealership was because the gentleman who I've always dealt with at Honda, had unfortunately; relocated to Florida. I had also made what I thought was my final lease payment on my Honda. I entered the Yonkers Kia on Central Park Avenue with my elderly mother. The plan was to turn in my Honda with barely 16k miles and hopefully get into a more economic car payment. Two women at a car dealership. I primarily use my vehicle to simply get to and from the airport because, for a living; I deliver exceptional customer service on board an aircraft. I spent a total of 9 very long hours at Yonkers Kia with Robert Iglesias. In that excessive amount of time I merely test drove a vehicle and signed a contract for a new car. The Kia dealership then took possession of my Honda Civic and I drove off worry free. Two weeks later I notice that Honda had taken a payment for my old car. I found this strange so I called them and questioned the payment. I thought that perhaps there would be an overlap of about a month and I was mentally prepared for that. What I was told was something I was not prepared for; I in fact, had 12 payments left on my Honda lease. Having learned of this huge mistake I took off from work to rush back to the Kia dealership, confused and in panic mode. I was looking to better my financial situation by getting a car at Kia but now I had walked away from a dealership responsible for not one, but two cars. I spoke to someone at Yonkers Kia who told me that the Kia contract was returned "not funded". I thought to myself that this made perfect sense because when my credit was run they must've seen a debt for another lease someway somehow. They had caught the mistake?? I was confused but I headed over eager to resolve the issue anyway. Fast forward to me thinking that everything would be okay. Fast forward to me thinking that I would go to the Kia dealership and I would be treated like a customer who was in need of help. Help from the company she had just put her trust into. Fast forward to sitting in the finance office and being given "options". I sat in an office with the finance manager named Andrew who told me that I had 3 options. All of which did in NO way help me financially. All options included me paying for BOTH cars one way or another. I asked Andrew if there was anyone else I could speak to and if there was anything else that could be done. He called Darwin Oliva the General Manager at Yonkers Kia. I sat in that office waiting for Darwin and thought to myself that there was just no way I wouldn't be helped somehow. When he entered I stated I could not afford two cars. Paying them as one payment combined or both separately were not helping me. I was flabbergasted as to how I could set foot in a dealership and simply state I had zero payments. How it NEVER was verified by anyone on their team. Not the salesman, not the finance manager and not anyone who's hands came across that deal in those 9 hours. I wondered HOW exactly it was that I INDEED was the only person who found this discrepancy at the mercy of my bank app. I looked at the paperwork put together two weeks prior during my long wait at the Yonkers Kia. I EVEN CAME ACROSS a printout which stated I had 12 months left to pay on my existing lease. WHAT?!?!?!!? This leaves me to think that either a) the salesman was aware, he printed it, and purposely didn't disclose this information or b) he overlooked it and made a huge mistake... I was then given an option to not have to pay for 2 of those months. Quite frankly I didn't find this sufficient, given the circumstances. HOW COULD THIS BE? I had so many questions now. FOR THE REST OF MY HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW!! Update: I since have gone to the Honda dealership on Yonkers Avenue where I really was merely looking for advice or guidance. I was blown away by the amount of empathy expressed by Boris the manager there. He stated that he couldn't help me per say which I knew, but he extended an offer to help me with my next service appointment. Someone who was not at fault and not even a representative of Kia! Can you imagine??? This, is what customer service is about. So if you are looking for honesty and integrity make your way back over to Honda specifically back to Boris. I'm waiting for this lease to expire to return to the company that values me most! I hope this review helps anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. https://files.acrobat.com/a/preview/bc7bad5d-4343-4784-bb38-9552b5e8e459 read more

YonkersKia had yelp take down my review, here it is again. I have seen a lot of bad reviews on yelp about this dealer and I thought it was fake. I saw their deals online and thought wow they have good deals. But at a terrible price. When I mean customer service is so, it truly is so bad. One minute a salesmen is with you, the next minute he is with some one else telling you to hold on. None of the salesmen sticks with the customer, they multi-task and juggle customers around. I even saw a whole family storm out in anger, I thought maybe they were over reacting until it was my turn to see what it really is. My salesmen was nice and on my side of things, but not the financial manager SAL. People watch out for this guy he will bait and switch you and treat you like shit. I was at the dealer for 4 hours for him to tell me there's no way I can get into the car I wanted. Which is the KIA optima Hybrid. They are going to know exactly who I am and I want them too. He comes back saying there's no way you can get into a optima today your best bet is a used car or a cheaper new car like the KIA soul (which I hate). I told him no I'm only interested in the KIA optima. He says that's not possible I can only afford a car in the 14000 dollar price range. I said but you guys have a used KIA optima one for 12000 and another for 14000. He gets annoyed, calls over the salesmen and tells him to show me the used optimas. In my head I'm thinking so you are telling me you knew the car I wanted was available in the price range and you wasn't going to tell me? At that point I knew what it was. I see the car I decided to take it. The agreement was with 4k down and after the apr, monthly payments I'd only be paying 323 dollars. I was ok with it, and it's the SOLE reason why I considered it. They tell us to come the next day to finalize the papers and take my car and go straight to work, so while I'm with the finance lady Stephanie. I'm signing papers anxious to drive the car I want. She tells me the car note will be 557.14 a month. I stop my tracks and said why the hell is that. It's suppose to be 323 dollars. Apparently SANTANDER bank put 2000 banking fee which makes no sense because the computer does all the work really, and 2000 dollars for a warranty that was mandatory and SAL said there's no way out of it. And we was never told this. I call santander bank and asked then is this regular business practices, they said no, we legally have to inform you guys. I go back to the dealership to talk to Stephanie and she said she was able to take off the extended warranty. WTF but your boy SAL said no. I decided to back off the deal and request the refund, Stephanie than calls SAL back in and tells him how we backing off the deal and he gets upset saying just give these guys their money back, I don't have time for this. So is this how you treat your customers? I went all the way to Yonkers from Brooklyn for no reason wasted two days of my life. How they are able to keep their franchise I really don't know. But what I do know is I want them to know it's me Ricardo. And I will write this same review on any conceivable review site so people can know. When I accumulate the funds I'm going to buy the car and specifically request that SAL hands me the keys to the car he didn't want to sell me. People do NOT waste your time here. If I could give them no stars I would. If you guys are thinking about going there think twice shoot even contact me if you will. It was not a pleasant experience, they do bait and switch, and will hide things from you whether it's what ever hidden fees or not telling you the car you want is available at a cheaper price. Update 8/17/15 What I wrote above is the original review. They saw all the reviews and called me back the next day and I let them know about the reviews. They said woah we can work things out. I originally wanted a brand new Kia optima hybrid fully loaded that was listed on their website for 23000. That was a steal! and the only reason why I considered going to Yonkers Kia from Brooklyn. The car MSRP was at 32000 for all black fully loaded. They said with the 4k down and 21% interest the monthly payments would be 570 but I had to change bad reviews to good ones. Now hold up for the 14k kia optima with 4k down and monthly payments would be 557 a month. Now clearly something doesn't add up. But I was happy and anxious that I was getting it my way without even realizing what they had did. So I realized what they did was even though I got the loan for 21000 after I dd they 4k deposit. They made it that the interest I pay would be for the MSRP at 32000. Now I accepted the 21 percent interest because I know I'd be ahead of my payments (which I still am) and that I plan to refinance after 8 months. But the 570 I pay now only 230 dollars of that goes towards principle and over 300!! dollars goes towards interest. When I refinance that will all be cleared up. Do not buy anything from them. read more

Went to Yonkers Kia after two bad experiences at other Kia dealers. I spoke with the Internet sales rep (Jazmin) and she was fantastic. Jazmin found the car in the color I wanted; after a 4 hr wait I drove off in my beautiful Optima SX thanks to the service and extras I received I have already recommended this store. Thank you all! Update 9/28/16: This is my second review for Yonkers Kia. This experience was just as professional, painless and noteworthy for the NO stress experience I had while at the dealership Saturday Sept. 24th. 2016 I could not be happier with the treatment I received from the Sales Manager Sal and the Salesman Don, thank you both. So my experience with Yonkers KIa began over 3 years ago when I leased my first car. I did not have great credit but I figured i'd get a good deal due to a friend of mine being a salesman there. 7 Long hours later I finally leave with my car and although my payments were a little higher than I wanted to pay, I loved my Sportage. Fast forward 3 years and I get a call from them asking me to come in and possibly upgrade my car. I speak to my wife and we agree to go in. This time I have better credit and they are trying to get me to buy a car I do not want or the style of car I want. Then after 6 hours, we make a deal and we take care of the finances and the 7 remaining payments were added to my current loan and they tell me they will pay Kia motor finance for that balance. 5 Months later I get a call from a collection agency claiming that I owe Kia the amount of the remaining payments. So I call Kia and all I get is I will call you back, let me look into this. Its been a month now and the same story. Sorry guys but this was my last Kia from your dealership. I'll gladly go anywhere else. read more

I am a first time owner of a 2016 Kia Sorento. The car is the best I've ever own. Yonkers Kia has been my go-to for all my checkups and maintenance issues. My Service Advisor Jason was great. Edwin was open and approve the reconciliation of a dispute of prior service rendered without charge. Where are you going to find a dealership who with reason is about customer satisfaction? on 8/2/2021, I went in to this business to purchase a vehicle. The vehicle in question was falsely advertised for a certain amount, when in fact, upon signing they snuck in a different price. After informing the Salesman and manager of the error, they proceeded to claim that the original MSRP amount, and (the only figure mentioned at the time of purchase), was actually not in fact the price of the vehicle. Instead, Yonkers Kia took it upon themselves to add a premium over the sales price because of a "car shortage" in which I also was also not informed of. The salesman, finance representative, and manager also failed to explain the details of this or explain any other details within the contract in general, and took advantage of the language barrier coercing me to sign documents I did not understand or approve of. DISHONEST AND SNEAKY, PLEASE AVOID! read more

I'm not going to lie, this is NOT the easiest dealership to work with. I have used this dealership twice, and both times, it was a huge headache and sometimes very disheartening to buy a car from them. I'll give you the good, and the bad. The bad: The customer service is HORRIBLE. They lied about my car being ready, one of the managers was so arrogant and rude, he brought me to tears. I even started calling other dealerships to get prices on the car I wanted, b/c I was NOT going to give them any of my hard-earned money. The good: when the owner of this dealership found out what had happened, he personally reached out to me more than once to make it right. He put me in a better-model car for the price I was promised, and paid the dmv fees himself. Not only that, but he PERSONALLY, saw to every aspect of the deal going forward. The dealership was extremely busy the day I went back to sign the paperwork, but Darwin made me his priority that day. We spoke at great length about what had happened, and I really like him as a person. He listened to my advice, and he kept his word on everything we spoke about over the phone. not only that, he wouldn't budge when i (being my usual pushy self) kept trying to get the price lower and my remote start done, bc he had taken so much off the car he just couldn't afford to throw anything else in. And i actually respected that. We don't have the best credit, and Gina (the finance manager) spent a lot of time making calls and getting us the best rate she could find. While we were working on the deal for me, John (my salesman) and Darwin (the owner) spent quite some time showing my mother and father the used and new cars they had on their lot, personally taking them out for test drives, bringing cars in from their other lot, etc. all this, on a busy saturday. Not only did they renew my faith in them, they got my mother into a car as well. I literally went from saying I would never set foot in there again to save my life, to buying 2 cars from them 24 hours later. So, my final review is a 4 star. I wish I could give them 5, but it took me days to get to where I am with them now. You can see why Darwin became an owner of a dealership, b/c he is a good businessman. A lot of the issues were b/c we had a miscommunication about the car I wanted. But what set me off was the lie about the car being "gassed up, cleaned, and ready to go" to get me in there, with 2 babies, when the car wasn't even on the lot, and the rudeness of one of the managers. Darwin assured he addressed this issue with his manager and it wouldn't happen to anyone again. I hope that Darwin keeps a close eye on whats going on in there going forward. As I told him, he has a great product (ive loved both my kias), he's a smart, nice man, and a straight shooter, but his company has a really crappy reputation b/c of some of the employees. They ultimately did right by me, although it shouldn't have taken me being insulted and belittled at times to get there. read more

Don't walk -RUN away! Went in interested in a used car listed on the website $8000. When I called I was told the car was still available. Went in and after @ 2+ hours hard upsell attempts, and a test drive the $8000 car was suddenly @ over $9500 (not including taxes). There was a $895 fee for them to check and certify the brakes?!?! $495 for them to wash the car. $425 for plates, title & registration (DMV charges $200). I refused all the additional fees and was told it was too late all these things were done and MUST be added to the price. PLEASE, BEWARE! I bought a new Kia Rio in 2014 when my credit was in good status. The finance person informed me that if I made my payments on time during the first nine months, my monthly payments would go down from $469 to about $350. I followed his advice and was very responsible with the payments. However, when I tried to refinance with the dealership, I was denied due to my credit score. I was not aware of the credit requirement as the finance representative only mentioned the timely monthly payments. It is important to mention that during the refinance request, I was in court proceedings against Kia. Therefore, I am not sure if their decision was an objective one. I then attempted to refinance with the bank that collects the car payments. Nevertheless, they told me they could not assist me as the loan was bought by Kia. It has been almost five years of making these high payments, and the loan does not end until May of 2020. Be extra cognizant when signing your purchase documents as they add services that you do not need. When I realized that I had inadvertently signed for such services, I cancelled them and requested a refund. The whole team made a mockery of me and and treated me very poorly, thus, I had to take the matter to court. It was only then that they decided to solve this particular issue out of court. read more

If there was a zero star option I would have selected it Noel is unprofessional and rude. I had an appointment scheduled for 10:30am. When I arrived at the dealership not a single person greeted me. I finally found Noel and he asked me to wait 2 to 3 minutes while he filmed a commercial. He did not offer me a seat or anything to drink and did not apologize for the delay. I waited 15 minutes for him. We finally sat down and again he did not apologize for the delay. We started discussing the car I wanted to purchase and then the commercial director told him that she needed to film one last part and asked him if he wanted to do it now or later. Noel totally ignored me stating he would film it now and got up from his desk. Again no apology. I got up from my seat and walked out of the dealership. Noel texted me where did i go?. I see all these negative comments on YELP and I am glad I did not let them steer me away from Yonkers KIA. We were going to buy up here, 3 dealers are 20 miles away, But it was always something after another, So we called and spoke to John. He told us the car was in stock, We said we would be there at 2PM, We drove our 2 cars 45 miles, Parked them around the block walked in AND.... Our sales person John was GREAT!!!!, our trade ins were counted as a Fair value(Yes we could have got a little more selling privately , but that is a headache and a tax burden on the new sale, Trade ins eliminate a portion of sales tax on new car , and who wants to deal with people calling and coming by?), and Our new Telluride was not marked up with all the ridiculous fees other dealers upstate were tacking on with no way to eliminate. We came in around 1:45 PM , Left around 4 PM with a New car. Trust me, I never write Yelp reviews, Do your research on cars, prices and the Car and Stock number you want at Yonkers Kia's Website ...THEN Call them, ask for John the Salesman , Tell them Maureen Sent you, Set up an Appointment and Have a VERY GOOD buying experience. Sincerely, Maureen T, of Pawling NY read more

The staff in the service dept is LOVELY. They were accomodating, gracious, and tried their best to get my car taken care of within an hour. They also washed the car. I can't ask for more out of a dealership. read more

I Went to 2 other Kia dealers before I stoped by At Yonkers Kia. First. Nemet Kia.Jamaica.. They had lowest price but they were trying to Charge me Extra Fees...over $1000...(top of the Price) I walked out..Terrible Saleman..(Dealer have to pay rent and pay bills to run the business) This is what the saleman told me When I argue about the $1000 extra. Second..Generation Kia...Biggest in New York..I think. They had this Total Proctection Package ($2000) Included in Their vehicles..this is must Buy..according to Sales Man (Joseph Jones) Higest Recommand in Dealer Rater.. I walked out again.. Lastly, I contacted Yonkers Kia ...and spoke to carly kim about my situation...She was 100% positive that I can get what I want. and No extra charges will be included it...She was Correct... I decided to buy 2014 Kia soul from Yonkers Kia after shopping queens to suffolk county..This was worth trip and Happy to be New Kia Owner..Thanks to Carly Kim and Tom (finance Manager) for easy processing ..Thumbs Up for you Guys.. read more

This Place is horrible, I called to find out if a vehicle was available, they said yes it was come on down. I left work early to get there, when I arrived it was like another planet. So I said to a salesman I'm here to look at the jeep, he replies ,"which one, I said how many do you have, he says ONE.!!!" then i asked if i can look at it he says we DON'T HAVE THAT vehicle. I asked why did you tell me to come here if you did not have the vehicle. he says well we have other cars!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then a supervisor says we have a jeep but the engine is bad we can work a deal out on that. I asked if he was serious then just waked out. Stay away from this place unprofessional and very shady read more

I have been a loyal Kia customer since 2012, and have had several wonderful experiences with the Kia dealership in Mahwah (when it was still there) and Ramsey. When I was at the end of my lease this past August, I thought I would have the same experience with Yonkers Kia. I was able to work with the sales representative and secure a deal in which my mile overage from my previous lease would be forgiven upon re-leasing with Kia. I drove my car home in the beginning of August a happy customer. Unfortunately, that is where the nightmare began. I have been getting phone calls from Kia Finance since August to alert me that I have been charged for the mile overage from my previous lease. In speaking with Yonkers Kia, they have assured me time and time again that they would cover this mileage (I even have it in writing from several employees), and that they will settle the charge with Kia finance. This has NOT happened and I am now days away from being sent to collections. I am going to be forced to pay $3,500 that was NOT in the deal that I signed in August because of their negligence. I have sent countless emails, called numerous times, and yet this still has not been resolved. I never ever write reviews, let alone bad ones, but I have never experienced anything like this. STAY AWAY from this Kia!! Go to any other Kia in the area. I would rather drive across 3 states to another Kia dealership than ever go to this Kia again. read more
