I've been purchasing cars and getting service at Central Avenue Nissan for well over 10 years. Whenever I go for service Heather gets me in and out fast. Great prices when you consider you're getting service at the dealership. I'd highly recommend Central Avenue Nissan for all your car buying and service needs.

Nissan Finance confirmation that dealers cannot impose extra fees or services as part of a lease buyout.

Stay away from this place. I'm at the end of a lease on a Nissan Rogue where the residual is well below the market value of the car (COVID economics), so I went to this dealership to process a lease buyout. I called the dealership in advance and got confirmation that that the total buyout price of the car would be residual + purchase option fee + sales tax... and nothing else. I also called Nissan Finance (NMAC) to confirm that I can go to any Nissan dealership to buy out the lease and will only have to pay aforementioned costs. Long story short, the sales team at the dealership wouldn't process the paperwork unless I paid $2,000 for a certification and extended warranty. When I pointed to the lease terms, the dealer cited their status as an independent company ("Nissan can't tell us what to do."), their business needs ("I need to get value out of this deal"), and even invoked the Nuremberg defense ("I'm just doing what management tells me to do."). I left without buying out the lease. I spoke with Nissan Finance online after this visit. They confirmed that the dealer is not permitted to unilaterally impose additional fees for buyouts. (See attached screenshot.) Interestingly, when I told Nissan Finance about what happened at the dealership, they offered to let me buy out the lease directly from Nissan, without a dealer, as long as I pay in full, by just mailing them a personal check and an odometer reading. A non-dealer option is not available to New York State residents on Nissan Finance's website. This is pure speculation, but this "secret" buyout option could be a response to https://abc7ny.com/nissan-car-lease-buyout-overcharging-payment/11636127/. Either way, I'm filing a complaint with state regulators. Shop elsewhere if you're in the market for a Nissan.

On February 7th, 2026, I purchased a used 2024 KIA FORTE GT from Yonkers Auto Gallery. The car had only 19,000 miles on it, and I thought I was making a smart choice for my family. Unfortunately, just a week later, the car broke down on Route 9 and had to be towed because it wouldn't go more than 10 miles an hour. The check engine light came on, and it was diagnosed with a gas pedal malfunction. When Dutchess KIA did a deeper diagnostic, they found the car flooded when it rained, chewed wires throughout, and even dead mice inside. The wire harness and all the wiring need to be replaced, and the computer system shorted out twice. On top of this, I recently lost my parents and have taken on the responsibility of their home and everything that comes with it. The emotional and financial weight of managing their estate while dealing with this car nightmare has been almost too much to bear. This whole experience has been a nightmare. I've contacted the BBB, attorney general's office, DMV, and lemon law lawyers, but I'm still waiting for answers. This situation has already cost us thousands of dollars, and we're struggling to keep up. I've missed important calls about this matter because of my work schedule, and my husband lost work because we had no car. We even had to take out another loan just so he could start working again. In the meantime, I lost my job as a preschool teacher of 23 years due to the mental and emotional stress this has caused. Saying goodbye to my second home and dealing with the loss of my parents has made things even harder. Knowing that a dealership can get away with something like this is heartbreaking.

I was misled about the financing terms and later discovered I had been charged for an additional coverage that was never disclosed to me and that I did not authorize. When I raised the issue, I was assured that the unauthorized charge would be refunded. Weeks have passed, and instead of resolving the matter, the company has stopped responding entirely. Being ignored after raising legitimate concerns only reinforces the lack of honesty and transparency I experienced. I am now forced to consider legal action to recover what should never have been taken in the first place. I strongly urge potential customers to scrutinize every document carefully and think twice before doing business here. Buyer beware.

I was looking for a Honda Odyssey Touring for my growing family and wanted a straightforward process with the best possible price--and Michelle delivered beyond my expectations. She made it incredibly easy for us to walk in, sign the paperwork, and drive out in our new car--all within 20 minutes! In total, I probably spent only about an hour communicating with her because she was so efficient and attentive to my needs. Jordan guided us through the signing of paperwork and he was a pleasure to work with as well. I cannot recommend Honda of Yonkers and Michelle highly enough. If you're looking for exceptional service and unbeatable deals, this is the place to go. Thank you for making the process so seamless and helping us get our new vehicle!

He asked me to leave my name and number and said he would call when a vehicle became available, but I never received a call. I eventually went to New Jersey and purchased a 2024 Toyota Highlander instead, where the dealership treated me with professionalism, respect, and hospitality.

Only reason I am rating this business as two stars is that when confronted with solid documentation, they agreed to make some amends. It did take approx 5 months to get closure. There service center was worse. Service tech told me I needed an engine flush for a 2011 camry at 50K mi servicing. Charged me over a $100 extra. When I got home, found out that was not required. Called service center, and they told me it was needed for cars driven in 'tough' conditions. Well, agent never asked me how I drove my car, or whether I towed anything. More importantly, even the tough-conditions service requirements dont require the flush. Needless to say - not going back.

I was later promised a refund and told it would be applied directly to my loan principal. I was repeatedly told to "wait until the next billing cycle." After four billing cycles with no refund, I contacted my loan company directly and confirmed that no refund was ever initiated. Whenever I call the dealership, I am routed to the sales manager, who says only the general manager can resolve the issue. Despite repeated requests over four months, the general manager has never returned a call. This dealership lies, delays, and avoids accountability once the sale is complete. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE…read more Let me share my experience with Yonkers Kia. I purchased a used car from them, and it only came with one key. When I asked about the second key, I was told they didn't have it. Instead, they issued me a "We Owe" agreement, stating that I would need to purchase and program a new key myself, and they would reimburse me. I followed their instructions. In December, I submitted the invoice for reimbursement--and I am still waiting to be paid. Since then, I've had to call multiple times, re-submit the same paperwork more than once, and constantly follow up. Each time I reach out, I'm treated dismissively, like I'm the one causing the issue. I never receive callbacks, and the process has been unnecessarily difficult. They owe me over $700. At this point, it's not just about the money--it's about how poorly this has been handled. Because of this experience, they've lost me as a customer, and I would not recommend them to anyone. My next steps are to file complaints with Westchester Consumer Protection, Kia Corporate, and to share my experience publicly so others are aware. All of this... over $700. What a shame.

Unfortunately for him, I'm a grown woman, a mother, and someone who's seen enough of life to spot a con-artist from a mile away. I wasn't born yesterday, and I definitely don't fall for high-mileage lies dressed up in cheap cologne. His explanations for the numbers on the car were ridiculously absurd, it made no sense at all, I felt like talking to a 4 years old toddler trying to explain physics to me, the little guy was shaking as he was desperately trying to convince me to accept his scam.
