Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for expert assistance. Shipping across the country was not a problem as I'm on the other coast and they provided me with detailed tracking information and used a great carrier. I'll be calling Value Electronics for all my future AV purchases and already recommended them to a good client of mine who is looking to build a theater room in his new home.

His wife Wendy brought us across the street to see an LG projector and screen. She seemed a bit reluctant to take us at first, but opened up after awhile. Robert emailed me with a proposal that night, of which I didn't need a cabinet at all (don't know why that was included). Seemed fair! But my cousin that night got me a great deal (50% off!) on the projector through a website through his job once I knew I liked it earlier that day at Value. So I emailed Robert back to say I won't be purchasing the projector from him based on the insane deal my cousin got me. BUT I would still like to purchase the 110" screen, an entire audio system AND to install and calibrate it all! I emailed him TWICE with no answer, called THREE times with no answer and even left a voicemail with no return call. I am really surprised because they have a beautiful shop, very friendly no pressure sales approach BUT they don't care for my business at all. I was about to spend roughly $7,500 on the above mentioned equipment and services but maybe they were mad that I didn't want to buy the projector from them so they didn't return my calls out of spite and blew $7,500 in other sales? I still had to see the screen and discuss the services they can offer me and possible audio equipment? I don't know why, but I am so disappointed I was totally ignored after a nice visit with my wife with great conversation as well! Good good people, but either spiteful or don't care for smaller sized sales. Regardless, i waited 3 days for someone from Value to get back to me after so many attempts on my part but gave up and I just spent over $7,500 on those items at a Long Island big box store today. I will continue to watch Robert's great YouTube videos as he is a pleasure to watch his love for a/v as I do!

So I'll take the L for not noticing before that. Dropped the family off went back to the store Went to exchange the game and this was on the door. Called another 2 stores just to inquire if I can return at another location no one picks up automated service hangs up. Called customer service just to inquire if I can go to another GameStop. No one picks up waiting 10 minutes. Finally called a 3rd store not in the same area someone picks up and I asked if I can return to any game stop the Napoleon dynamite sounding team member says return it there because it will affect their numbers..really..:their numbers..so here I sit in the parking lot for an hour..the bad experience just continues. Update: so 8pm hits nothing. A small group (maybe 6 people) starts to gather outside waiting. 8:10-8:15 nothing freezing my @$$ off. Lights come on dude slumps out the back sees people outside turns around turns lights off. Girl says wtf are you serious then the light goes on then off again. Then on guy comes out wiping his face. My dude was sleeping in the back. *he was going to decline my exchange, made it known that he was doing me a favor as a one time exception* granted the plastic was removed and it's software so can't be too mad, but people seem to hate workin there. Not surprised

Even as I type this, I find it hard to believe I'm giving a Game Stop 4 stars - especially this…read moreone. I used to come here long ago, but between the staff and the typical Game Stop pricing and other typical business, I stopped for many years. If I went to a Game Stop at all, it was rare and certainly not here. But out of desperation really, I ended up returning here and I was glad on this particular day I did. Now Game Stop as a whole is pricey for certain items and of course, if you expect to sell back anything and get something respectable back, then you're only fooling yourself. At the same time, a place where they sell physical games (I don't like digital) and have a much deeper selection than most chains (like Best Buy, Toys R Us, Target, etc). For someone who's probably a little more than a casual gamer and who has a son who's becoming one, Game Stop is actually pretty valuable these days. So I went to Toys R Us for a game that was supposed to come out that very day. I went in the late afternoon and TRU didn't even have it stocked out and apparently not in their stockroom either. I could go on about the many wrongs TRU has, but this is not the place for it. I decided to come to this Game Stop due to it's closeness and I didn't want to start driving around to other retailers looking for this particular game. Online would be fine, but I wanted it for my son on that day. Game Stop had only limited and reserved quantities, but the employee managed to find one. I had really appreciated his effort. I also appreciated his knowledge and friendly demeanor, as I had asked him questions about another system. The price was about what it was for other retailers, so no complaints there. The store is small, but maneuverable. They naturally have the more popular stuff in better places than the less popular items. They also have more than just games, which is actually good for them. There were two employees behind the counter and a small line, but it took a long time due to the customers explaining their own life stories and oblivious to anyone else existing in the world waiting - but this is not Game Stop's fault. Located in Cross County, you could find decent enough parking most times of the year. The Stop n Shop lot or the lot next to Old Navy are your better and closer bets. So due to this experience, I will be returning here and I will be giving Game Stop more of a chance from now on.

First I went to China Town and found the location to be a booth where you drop off and pick up items from a window (there is no door for customers). There are also cute gift ideas available for purchase, on display at the windows, such as handmade Mario & Luigi picture frames (stitched) and ChromeCast. I submitted an initial deposit and they said it would be fixed within 3-5 business days (but same-day service is available for an additional fee). I received a friendly text message on the fourth day and picked it up without a problem (and paid the rest of the cost). I checked to make sure the button worked and it did. It still works perfectly to this day (they were able to replace the button). They also give you a 90 day warranty where you can get it fixed for free, if it happens to revert back to its damaged form. Thank you for fixing my 3DS! Excellent service!

Overpriced and unprofessional…read more I've been here three times and have left disappointed and empty-handed on all three occasions. These guys up-charge like crazy (ex. Charging $90 for a game trending around $60) and have even changed the price of a game I was about to purchase (ex. Front desk worker told me X price, he goes to the back, and he comes back telling me the price is XX instead because the "boss" or whatever said so). They're even doing a Black Friday sale where you still end up paying more than the current value of the game you're interested in. Additionally, they changed locations and don't even bother to update it on Apple Maps, Yelp, wherever (They've been in at the new location since the summer at least). Every time I'm there they always happen to be eating and they're smacking their lips on wings while answer questions too. Only positive is that the selection is massive. You'll find all the games you want on your wishlists, but it's unfortunate that this is the only retro video game store in Westchester. Tip: while you're walking around the store and looking at prices, use https://www.pricecharting.com/ to check the current trending price of the games you're buying and you'll see for yourself that you're getting overcharged. I get that they have to keep the lights on, but come on now.
