Absolutely was excited to get something nice and cold since the weather has been heated. The frozen yogurt was delicious yes BUT my god was one of the female workers ridiculous, she just packed everything on. She throw the sprinkles in pile by pile didn't even try to make it look nice just packed in the middle. I Asked for raspberry sauce that was a mistake she literally just poured it all over you couldn't even tase let alone see the ice cream, I had to drain some of it out. We've been going to Yogurt Mill since Roseburg Square opened decades ago. We are frequent fliers and go at least twice a week. We live in Ripon so we usually go to the Palendale location. We went tonight (Sunday) at 8:45pm....I have NEVER in my life seen this location so filthy. They were out of 4 flavors, floor filthy, garbage overflowing, and they had no toppings. Topping containers literally empty. When my husband asked for toppings the employee said they were out of them. So he kept asking and each one he asked for they said the same thing "we are out of them". So he scraped what he could with what they had which was gramcracker crumbs. I wish now I would have taken pictures. The owner needs to visit this location more often. The employees that work on Sunday evenings are lazy and do nothing to help. We asked for lids, they had them to us. We asked for a bag, she literally hands it to us. What happened to customer service? With Covid being gone apparently your cleaning guidelines disappeared as well. Guess we will start staying in Ripon and patronizing our local yogurt shop. read more

I've been to one other Yogurt Mill before but my first time at this location, their only self-serve location mind you. Brought my sister here for a birthday treat and a treat of my own since I've been such a good boy lately! We tried to be fairly conservative with our Oreo Cheesecake & 50/50 Bar (blended concoctions) and toppings. I put too much froyo in my cup and little toppings while my sister did a little of both (I should've been more like that). Our froyos were delicious! The staff were fun, friendly and I loved the decor (very mod and fun as well). So glad we decided to stop in and I am going to be treating myself here once a month!!! read more

We love the self serve option because we pay for only what we'll eat. For example we have a 3 year old and an almost 5 year old, they eat hardly frozen yogurt at all and they really like getting multiple toppings. My husband and I get just how much we want and we don't feel overfull like we do when we go to one of the other locations where you choose the size and they serve you. We also like getting to have a variety of toppings. In other words, we actually spend less at this location than we do with the others and we have less waste from the kids. The service is spotty. Sometimes there is someone to help with samples and sometimes you have to ask. The absolute best part, besides the lower price, is the ROOM where the kids can go in and listen to the movie instead of just seeing the picture like the other locations. Only one time at the other locations have we been able to hear the movie, and that was at a non-busy time for them. Also, there is significantly more seating at this location than the others. So, yes, you do serve yourself, but seriously, you pay by the ounce and can have whatever options you please with no limitations. You can pay less. I don't understand the people complaining about the price because they serve themselves at this location. Personally I don't like paying an additional fee for my one-topping at the other locations, I personally think one topping should be included. Yogurt Mill is the only FroYo shop we've tried in town, so far, since we moved here a month ago. We've been to all three locations and this one is our favorite. We have driven 15-20 minutes depending on traffic to go to this one vs. the one that is around the corner and takes less than 5 minutes to get there. (Although we've only done this once, we usually stop at this location when we're on this side of town because it's convenient) and offers options our closest YM doesn't. read more

My companion had double cheesecake, cookies and cream, and ice cream sandwich. With cherries, cookie dough and those little strawberry ball thingies. I've frequented the other two locations for years so, when I found out they were opening this location and that it was going to be self-serve, I was excited and couldn't wait for it to open! Yessss...I looked forward to being able to get a little bit (or a lot) of however many flavors I wanted but most importantly, now I could get as many different toppings as I want and not have to pay $.75 for each one! This store is nice, clean, modern and bigger than the other two. It's pretty much set up like any other self-serve frozen yogurt shop. The staff was also very friendly. My only complaint is that the cashier had to leave the counter just to give us a sample. There was already kind of a traffic jam in front of the machines with all the people in front of us and behind us, it just made it more hectic. I didn't even want to ask for more samples due to that and to be courteous to the others. I just thought that was weird. Like why??! All the other self-serve places I've been to leave those sample cups out and allow us to get it ourselves. It's much more effective, easier and faster that way. It wasn't even that packed today, imagine when this place gets really busy like the other two locations. It's going to be crazy! Update: I've been here a couple of times now and for some reason, it's not as enjoyable as the other two locations. I don't know what it is exactly. My first time coming to this location and I loved it. I absolutely loved the decor and ambiance, seems like something you would find in a bigger city. There was a good selection of yogurts to choose from, a lot of unique flavors that you don't usually see. I got cheesecake and airplane cookie (my most favorite cookie ever in yogurt form!!! I was so stoked). Toppings were average, the usual toppings you'd find at every other yogurt shop. (Really wish they had toasted coconut though). The staff were really nice and friendly. My two year old nephew dropped his cookie and one of the workers happily brought him a new one without any one having to ask her. Super friendly. Went on a super busy day and there weren't any seats. Went outside and sat near subway, however the chairs were all stacked up. We had to pull them apart and arrange them. read more

I've been here 2 times in the last week, hoping it would be better the next time, but each time I just feel unwelcome. They welcome you but you never actually feel welcomed and they just kind of toss the cups at you like they don't want to talk or interact. Just get what you want and go is how it felt. They barely even smile or look like they want to be there. Kind of feel like robots just doing their job without any effort for customer service. They don't even care if you ask for a "light" amount of toppings, just do the same scoop every time without listening to what the customer wants. I feel this location has really gone down hill compared to when I used to go 2 years ago. Really need a change in management or at least train workers that are happy and friendly. read more

Really sad. Came here tonight April 27th 2019, excited to get my yogurt. I live closer to oodles frozen yogurt, but drove out of my way to this yogurt mill because it's usually my favorite. They close at 10, and we arrived at 9:50. The place was pretty busy still, so we decided to go in and get our yogurt quickly because we knew they were closing and wanted to be considerate. We got sample cups, and tried a few, every single one we sampled worked and produced a lot of yogurt. We turn around to grab a cup to buy some, and THEY TURNED OFF THE MACHINES ON US! They still had 5 minutes until they closed, and saw us sampling to buy some, and still went and turned off all the machines on us. Really sad and disappointed. We left with no yogurt, but also upset at the customer service. I understand you were getting ready to close, but we were being quick, and you were still open. Not cool. read more

The yogurt is subpar, and lets not even talk about the trouble to even get here due to the parking lot. Very clean, very modern yogurt shop. Several flat screen TV's. And a lounge area to relax. The price is reasonable and the quality of toppings are good. One criticism if I had to say was there is a staff member standing by the yogurt with sample cups, you are not allowed to get your own sample, but the staff are willing and friendly enough to help you. I suppose this is for sanitary reasons, however this is contradictory when the cashier went to relieve the sample cup staff. After handling money, the cashier did not wash her hands or use the instant hand sanitizer located on the nearby wall. I'd rather get my own sample if your not going to practice what you preach yogurt mill. read more
