Place is a scam and owner is money hungry. Had a promotion for a free month (offered directly from the owner) if you referred a friend to book a membership. The owner went back on her promo and demanded payment. The only reason I drove to Y6 today was because I received a notification of being in the class (attached). The receptionist was unbelievably illiterate and didn't know what it was. She called the owner and they were playing telephone with me. The owner hid behind the phone and couldn't speak to me directly. The receptionist got a 2nd call from the owner and hid in the closet to speak. So unprofessional. I drove through traffic just to get there and get rejected even though i had the confirmation. The class wasn't even full... They asked me to pay for a day pass even though I said I would bring payments in the next day. Unfortunately and maybe it was actually lucky that i didn't bring any credit cards because I am not coming back. It's a cheap and ok place for yoga, but i rather spend a little more money for actual hot yoga and go to a better managed location.

This is a brand new location in downtown San Jose and I absolutely love this. Staff is super nice and I am so happy this close to home and the instructors are amazing . Have been trying different classes and it's been fantastic so far .

I have been consistently going 4-5x a week to YogaSix DTSJ for almost a month now. My sister and I discovered this studio late December. It's close to where we live, so it's convenient for us. The studio is clean and parking is manageable. I've taken different classes with different instructors and all of them are great. They offer the classic Y6 classes AND themed classes such Bad Bunny & friends playlist, 80s RnB & Pop, Cowboy boots, beats & burn (which I will attend next week) and more! It's so fun! My favorite class is Sculpt & Flow with Kimmy! I love her energy and her overall vibe. She hosted a Sculpt & Flow - Choosing Yourself themed class last Saturday. She made us personalized bracelets... awww so thoughtful! *Peep my labubu wearing it as a sash* Danielle & Trinity, wellness advisors, are super friendly and welcoming. Super cheerful even at 5:30 AM haha I'm excited to bring my friend next month for her free month. Thank you to Zuleima who helped me with the process! I am so glad that I took a leap & joined this amazing community!!! Super excited to grow with Yogasix DTSJ! Yoga is my whole personality in 2026! :p

When I tried booking it through the app, I selected it on the drop menu, but for some reason it didn't put it for me. I did pay a reduced fee, but I would think that it would know that it was my first time and automatically sign me up for it. When I got there, the instructor told me I had to pay for the socks, but I could email the manager to see if I could get a reimbursement. So the class and socks ended up costing me 40 bucks (18 for socks). For some reason the label said $14, but I was charged 18. Not sure why. First impressions - The instructor seemed nice, but the intro was literally 5 minutes long and then you were on your own. When I started at orange theory, the coach constantly checked in on me to see if I was okay and that made me feel better about starting a new workout. Honestly, I felt like a fish out of water. I had to keep looking at the other girls next to me to see what to do because the instructor was throwing out instructions and unfamiliar terms to me at the speed of light. Also, I could tell the handle bar slack was uneven, but after my friend mentioned that hers was too to the instructor, she said "oh" and that was it so I didn't speak up either. The workout - Man, this burns so good. I thought I would be prepared for it with a year of Orange Theory under my belt, but my body was not ready for it. I can see why it's such a good workout. My legs were still shaking 30 minutes after. I would be up for another class in the future. Just need more exposure to the terminology. Overall it was a great workout. Maybe not the best for someone that is completely new to it, but you got to start somewhere.

I saw multiple people look confused as to where to place things back. I asked if there were wipes so I could wipe down my station and was told that the entire studio was disinfected including every single weight, and all towels were washed. I was doubtful since some of the classes on the class schedule were back to back. So basically they're tone policing me and telling me I looked dissatisfied, and then REPORTED me over that. ****I would personally not recommend going to a studio where they ban people for asking questions and being cautious.**** I went to one class and they banned me for asking for help, which is wild. I came early with my coworker and was excited to work out with her. During the class I moved through all the movements and asked for a modification during a lunge. I also asked for help when I wasn't feeling a stretch at the end of class. The instructor simply said "well I guess you just won't feel it then" and walked away. Other than that, I did not interact with the instructor. 2 days later I received an email saying I was banned because of my "behavior toward the instructor." I think this decision was more about the instructor's ego than anything else. I definitely don't recommend coming here unless you are someone with no fitness background and would rather be in silent pain than ask for help. And don't even bother if you have any sort of problems at all! Knee injury? Back pain? "Guess you just won't feel it then." I also want to share that I had an alternative experience at a local yoga studio where I was tentative about things and despite that, everyone made me feel incredibly welcome and invited me back. Even though it wasn't my cup of tea, I gave it a fair shot and have nothing but great things to say about the studio and team there and reviewed it accordingly. It really doesn't have to end this way, but some businesses are just really feedback-averse and that's disappointing to see.

I'd heard of Lagree but never really knew what it was, and didn't even know this was Lagree going into it, but it's basically a more intense form of pilates that uses a megaformer vs the traditional one. I'm glad I had a base of already working out and trying two other similar classes before coming here, so it was a little less intimidating. I think a beginner could definitely get the hang of this, but having a good foundation felt necessary to get the full benefits of the class and workout. And of course instructor direction and examples were a big factor in succeeding in the classes as a newcomer. I've had a handful of different instructors and have definitely found the one that is more my style and more motivating to me (shout out Ankitha), but I've generally liked all of the instructors enough to go back to their classes. Finding an instructor that works for you makes all the difference though when you're powering through a touch class, which these often are. I originally signed up for their first timers offer of 4 classes for $99. Other than that, without a membership classes run at $38 per, but they have a ton of different packages and memberships that could make classes range from $11 (if you went every single day) to $30 with a larger upfront cost. I ended up getting a class pack so that I wasn't limited or expected to attend a certain number of classes a month and have really liked the flexability. They have tons of classes throughout the day and week, so finding an opening isn't too hard.

What stood out to me was how spacious and aesthetically pleasing the studio is. It gives total "Pilates princess" vibes, and the instructors are so friendly and welcoming. With about 12 reformers, the class size feels intimate, and the instructors do a great job walking around to help correct form and technique. The upbeat, popular music they play adds a motivating energy that makes those tough exercises more bearable! Plus, the reformers are wiped down after each class, and the calming scent in the studio is such a nice touch. What really sets this studio apart from others is that they also offer weight training and HIIT classes which is located next door. If you're looking to mix things up with other forms of exercise, this is the perfect place to do it! Classes are booked through their app, where you can even select your preferred spot. That said, it's a good idea to arrive about 10 minutes early to secure the spot you want. I'd definitely recommend this studio to anyone looking to start or continue their Pilates journey--it's the perfect mix of style, comfort, and variety!
