Such a fun challenge! I get that it's called Hot 8 but it truly is super hot I do corepower often but this is a big step up from that. The cooling towels do help. I love that they offer 7 days of unlimited classes for $39 and I saw it is offered on Classpass as well :) I got to try the 26 & 2, Power, Yin, & Barre. Highly reccomend bringing in electrolytes and going early to find parking. I really want to try their sculpt classes but often times it's booked. Please add more sculpt classes!

I've been a member at this studio for almost 3 years now. I love this space and the people and woman running it. The heat is nice and HOT just like it's suppose to be, the showers , locker rooms are normally pretty upkept and clean. The studio space has two rooms and they're nice and spacious and the props are cleaned off every day. I love how accommodating, thoughtful and kind the staff/instructors are. Yesenia has been amazing with assisting with the things I have questions upon , & she does it well with grace. Steph & Miranda are one of the many instructors I enjoy taking during the week for a nice, powerful sculpt class. One thing I'd like to add is maybe a bigger space for the locker rooms in the ladies bathroom bc it can get really crowded. I will continue to come here because it doesn't only bring a sense of belonging but a sense of home. I love starting my week with some mindfulness and this studio had fulfilled that.

Shout out to the instructors and front desk for making it comfortable and being so welcoming for a first timer! They always recommend to go at your own pace and they will help you correct your posture to keep it as a good habit so you wouldn't hurt yourself. They have a lot of amenities to offer and my favorite ones have to be the eucalyptus towels and clean bathroom/lockers. Yoga mats, towel mats, shower towels, are all available to rent. All you need is comfortable clothes, a yoga mat, a yoga towel mat, and a hydro flask. I suggest taking Yin to help acclimate to the heat and I believe Power 1 would be the next stepping stone to advance further. Some tips! - Hydrateeeeee. - I recommend downloading the Hot 8 Yoga app, it's so much easier to find classes available. - Come in 10 to 15 minutes early to prepare for class. - Find a mantra to keep in your practice.

I was recommended to try Hot 8 Yoga for relaxation and flexibility / strengthening. The staff provide excellent service and answer all of your questions regarding classes and membership. For novices you can try a week trial for a very cheap price and then decide if you want the ten class package deal, or the monthly packages (5 classes per month vs unlimited). I enjoy Power Yoga the most because it combines flexibility, strengthening, endurance, and meditation / mindfulness elements. They have good instructors who vary in approach and style. The best instructors both give clear instruction and and wisdom on mindfulness. Some are more focused on getting you physically sound and that's ok too. The facility is very clean, and there is an excellent water station right near the locker rooms. They provide shower towels for free, and you can also rent mats for a fee. I was happy the staff members took my hairdryer issue seriously, and now the men's locker room has a brand new hairdryer. The shower line can get long depending on the popularity of the class, especially Yin. Parking is easy to moderate. Just park in the complex across the street.

I saw multiple people look confused as to where to place things back. I asked if there were wipes so I could wipe down my station and was told that the entire studio was disinfected including every single weight, and all towels were washed. I was doubtful since some of the classes on the class schedule were back to back. So basically they're tone policing me and telling me I looked dissatisfied, and then REPORTED me over that. ****I would personally not recommend going to a studio where they ban people for asking questions and being cautious.**** I went to one class and they banned me for asking for help, which is wild. I came early with my coworker and was excited to work out with her. During the class I moved through all the movements and asked for a modification during a lunge. I also asked for help when I wasn't feeling a stretch at the end of class. The instructor simply said "well I guess you just won't feel it then" and walked away. Other than that, I did not interact with the instructor. 2 days later I received an email saying I was banned because of my "behavior toward the instructor." I think this decision was more about the instructor's ego than anything else. I definitely don't recommend coming here unless you are someone with no fitness background and would rather be in silent pain than ask for help. And don't even bother if you have any sort of problems at all! Knee injury? Back pain? "Guess you just won't feel it then." I also want to share that I had an alternative experience at a local yoga studio where I was tentative about things and despite that, everyone made me feel incredibly welcome and invited me back. Even though it wasn't my cup of tea, I gave it a fair shot and have nothing but great things to say about the studio and team there and reviewed it accordingly. It really doesn't have to end this way, but some businesses are just really feedback-averse and that's disappointing to see.

I have tried all the classes; each teacher makes the class unique and is a completely different experience for my body and soul. RASHMI runs the 6:30 a.m. Tuesday class...my favorite one. Rashmi makes this process so natural that invites me every time to leave perfection aside and to learn and listen to my body. NADIA runs the 6:45 p.m. class that I attend on Wednesdays and she is all about strength and performance, every muscle in my body is engaged in each of her classes, and if you thought Yoga is not a good work-out, you should try this class. I found Almaden Yoga through the Mind Body app - it's within 5 miles of the house - so decided to give it a try. The class that worked with my schedule was Wall Yoga, which was described as a class where you'd use the wall to help work on alignment in your poses. I worried that it would be a pretty mellow class but signed up anyway. My concern was completely unwarranted, at least based upon the way Anuja taught it. Using the wall meant not having to worry about balance - an issue for me given an arthritic left big toe and a chronically sprained right ankle - meaning that we could focus upon fuller expression of the poses thereby requiring greater strength. I was literally dripping sweat by halfway through the class. It's a beautiful studio, conveniently located near my childhood home. I'll be sure to come back the next time I am out for a visit.
