I love that they offer so many different classes, from mat Pilates and vinyasa to yoga and reformer classes. The studio itself is so beautiful, and the reformer room is even more stunning! My favorite instructor for both heated mat and heated reformer classes is Kalani! I've taken both OneFormer Light Heat + Weights and OneFormer Foundations 2, and both were such a good workout. I expected Foundations 2 to be easier since it wasn't heated, but it was still challenging and had me out of breath. Expect a harder workout compared to traditional Pilates, and the added heat definitely makes it way harder. As someone who was really nervous to try heated classes, I actually didn't think it was too bad. Just make sure to bring a towel because you'll definitely sweat, and have extra cold water with you to stay hydrated. I've been loving the heated reformer classes here and will definitely be back! I also love that Yoga Source is available on ClassPass. They're currently offering a 2 classes for $29 special for OneFormer classes too!

The classes are motivating, the studio feels supportive, and it's clear that there is a lot of care and love going into the experience. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great workout with the best instructors with a studio they'll want to keep coming back to.

EDIT: Owner responded and said that they were upset that I questioned the cleanliness of the studio…read morebecause people were putting weights, mats, and towels back in the cubbies where people would normally go get new ones. I saw multiple people look confused as to where to place things back. I asked if there were wipes so I could wipe down my station and was told that the entire studio was disinfected including every single weight, and all towels were washed. I was doubtful since some of the classes on the class schedule were back to back. So basically they're tone policing me and telling me I looked dissatisfied, and then REPORTED me over that. ****I would personally not recommend going to a studio where they ban people for asking questions and being cautious.**** I went to one class and they banned me for asking for help, which is wild. I came early with my coworker and was excited to work out with her. During the class I moved through all the movements and asked for a modification during a lunge. I also asked for help when I wasn't feeling a stretch at the end of class. The instructor simply said "well I guess you just won't feel it then" and walked away. Other than that, I did not interact with the instructor. 2 days later I received an email saying I was banned because of my "behavior toward the instructor." I think this decision was more about the instructor's ego than anything else. I definitely don't recommend coming here unless you are someone with no fitness background and would rather be in silent pain than ask for help. And don't even bother if you have any sort of problems at all! Knee injury? Back pain? "Guess you just won't feel it then." I also want to share that I had an alternative experience at a local yoga studio where I was tentative about things and despite that, everyone made me feel incredibly welcome and invited me back. Even though it wasn't my cup of tea, I gave it a fair shot and have nothing but great things to say about the studio and team there and reviewed it accordingly. It really doesn't have to end this way, but some businesses are just really feedback-averse and that's disappointing to see.

But if you want every single customer to be happy whether or not they choose to go to your studio, then communicate kinder. Not every person likes type A's that couldn't care less about a customer's feelings because they simply care more about getting money instead. Again, my mistake. I was really disappointed with my first experience at Hot 8 Yoga in Santana Row…read more I booked the 5:45 p.m. class through ClassPass and unfortunately arrived late. Since it was my first time at this location, I accidentally parked in the wrong parking area and had difficulty finding the studio. I even tried calling while I was looking for it but no one answered my call. I completely understand that arriving late was my responsibility, and I understand that studios have policies regarding late entry. When I finally arrived, I apologized and explained what had happened. I was told that because I was past the five-minute grace period, I could not enter the class. When I walked out and checked my phone, it was 5:51 p.m. I accepted that I had missed the class and left. What really disappointed me was that once I got back to my car, I checked ClassPass and saw that Hot 8 Yoga had another class at 6:30 p.m. I wish the staff had simply said, "Unfortunately, we can't let you into this class, but we do have another class at 6:30 if you'd like to stay." That small gesture would have completely changed my experience. Instead, I left feeling unwelcome and as though there was no interest in helping me, especially knowing that this was my first visit and that I had genuinely been trying to find the studio. I understand enforcing a policy, but customer service is also about how you treat someone when something goes wrong. My ClassPass credits were ultimately returned, which I appreciate, although I was still charged a cancellation fee. My frustration isn't about being denied entry after arriving late--I take responsibility for that. It's about the lack of effort to offer an alternative when another class was starting only 39 minutes later. Unfortunately, for a first-time customer, the interaction left me feeling like I wasn't wanted there, and it definitely discouraged me from wanting to return.
