Great studio, all new equipment, and excellent instructors! They sell grippy socks if you forget yours! Mat Pilates is the best workout and loved that you can book everything online.

I've been to Astral Studios a few times now and I'm really enjoying Pilates classes with Zenab. I've been in the morning and evening sessions so far. I really love the ambiance, the space is so aesthetic and calming. It makes me want to workout! I find the classes a good level of challenging, where I feel like I need to push myself to keep up. But it isn't too difficult that I fall behind. The exercises are easy to follow. (I recommend the second row if you're new, so you can watch the instructor do the exercises.) I felt super proud at the end of class, and worked up a good sweat. Plenty of street parking and a parking lot in the back. Your first intro class is $11, and there's also a 2-class pack for $22. Regular prices are closer to $30 per class. Hope to be back soon!

Downtown Los Gatos is lucky to have Astral Studio! I tried out my first sculpt class with Myranda today. She warned us it would be spicy at times, and it sure was! What a great workout, I'm sure I'll feel it tomorrow. Very fairly priced for the Bay Area. Be sure to take advantage of the promo for newbies: First class $11 or first two classes $22. Studio is also beautiful, with top notch equipment and a super inviting, peaceful space. I think the only thing they're missing is a water station. We should have an option to hydrate after a challenging workout :)

Pilates has always been one of those things that I want to do but the thought of the pain makes me shy away but a friend told me she had found a great mat Pilates place and invited me to try it. I fell in love immediately with Astral! Such a gorgeous l, aesthetic studio. I took the 8am class and there was plenty of parking, probably not the case the later you go since it IS downtown Los Gatos. Took the Sculpt class with Stephanie and she was wonderful. I was DEFINITELY humbled during that class, it was tough to finish the reps and I was sore pretty much immediately after but completely worth it. Grippy socks are required but they have them for purchase and the designs are SO cute! First class for a newbies is $11 and then they have a new member promo of 2 class for $22 so they really give you a great solid opportunity to try it out without breaking the bank before you get a membership.

Such an aesthetic mat Pilates studio. The music is always fire, you can expect r&b and hip hop but I know they like to host themed classes too. The classes itself feel beginner/intermediate which is a nice small addition to my routine already and a nice way to start the day with movement. They also provide good quality products for you to freshen up before and after class. This is not a heated studio. I love the mats and equipment they use and the owner is so sweet. Sierra does killer workouts too! There is also a parking lot in the back!

Wow! What an absolute gem of a place. I've never been apart of a studio like this but I love it! From the cute pop ups to the instructors to the people who attend. My first time experiencing a sound bath and joining a book club within my membership. It's a great environment to say the least. All instructors have been amazing! Im so happy to have a membership here and always look forward to coming down from SSJ, worth it! The classes are affordable and parking is findable as long as you show up a little early. I can't recommend this place enough.

First time here & it was super easy to book on their website. They also have an app which is easy to use as well. I loved how this studio felt clean and super aesthetic. Come early if you take a class on Sundays due to the farmers market. There is a parking lot right behind the studio as well. I didn't know what to expect since it's my first ever mat pilates. I only ever did it on a reformer but omg it was quite challenging. My friends and I were sweating I can't wait to come back again it was fun :) I took Mikas class definitely would take her class again!

I live about 30 mins away, but I'm in Los Gatos often so it's convenient to have a studio nearby that I love. I've been over 5 times so far (whenever I'm in town), and every instructor I've had is equally amazing. The studio is pretty cold when you walk in, but within 5 minutes you're warmed up and it becomes the perfect temperature for a workout. The music is great and this studio is a vibe. What stood out to me was how spacious and aesthetically pleasing the studio is. It gives total "Pilates princess" vibes, and the instructors are so friendly and welcoming. With about 12 reformers, the class size feels intimate, and the instructors do a great job walking around to help correct form and technique. The upbeat, popular music they play adds a motivating energy that makes those tough exercises more bearable! Plus, the reformers are wiped down after each class, and the calming scent in the studio is such a nice touch. What really sets this studio apart from others is that they also offer weight training and HIIT classes which is located next door. If you're looking to mix things up with other forms of exercise, this is the perfect place to do it! Classes are booked through their app, where you can even select your preferred spot. That said, it's a good idea to arrive about 10 minutes early to secure the spot you want. I'd definitely recommend this studio to anyone looking to start or continue their Pilates journey--it's the perfect mix of style, comfort, and variety!

The level 1s can be great too depending on the teacher. Some teachers put up a great challenge even in level 1 while others made it pretty easy and I didn't feel like my core was getting the challenge it needed. Almost always the reformer level 2 classes were booked so we couldn't end up signing up for those weeks in advance. We attended one by a new / training teacher and that was fabulous. Decided not to continue because the reformer level 2s were super hard to get into and wish there were more of those.

It is important that I cultivate the Pilates Habit! as I have some fragile bones in my hip, an issue with balance, and for sure poor posture from fifteen years of writing at my computer. I find Grace in be a daily presence in my life as she inspires me to practice what she is teaching.. Every time I work with Grace, she is positive, warm, and consistent in teaching exercises to help with my issues. Grace is a great teacher as she can key into what works to help you learn. I have found her to be an amazing Pilates teacher with physical therapy skills. Grace is 100% focused on delivering a service and does not push sessions on you. Each time I take home my list of exercise which help me in my practice. Due to the fact I have deadlines on my book, she has been flexible with my Pilates schedule. I'd heard of Lagree but never really knew what it was, and didn't even know this was Lagree going into it, but it's basically a more intense form of pilates that uses a megaformer vs the traditional one. I'm glad I had a base of already working out and trying two other similar classes before coming here, so it was a little less intimidating. I think a beginner could definitely get the hang of this, but having a good foundation felt necessary to get the full benefits of the class and workout. And of course instructor direction and examples were a big factor in succeeding in the classes as a newcomer. I've had a handful of different instructors and have definitely found the one that is more my style and more motivating to me (shout out Ankitha), but I've generally liked all of the instructors enough to go back to their classes. Finding an instructor that works for you makes all the difference though when you're powering through a touch class, which these often are. I originally signed up for their first timers offer of 4 classes for $99. Other than that, without a membership classes run at $38 per, but they have a ton of different packages and memberships that could make classes range from $11 (if you went every single day) to $30 with a larger upfront cost. I ended up getting a class pack so that I wasn't limited or expected to attend a certain number of classes a month and have really liked the flexability. They have tons of classes throughout the day and week, so finding an opening isn't too hard.
