Just a shout out for the Gentle Yoga class on Fridays at 10:30 am. It's WAY better than any massage you could get. It's a beautiful way to slow down the mind and stretch out the body in a relaxed, gentle way. Everyone should give themselves this wonderful gift. Tasha leads the class with her supportive and inspiring spirit. read more

My friends and I booked this yoga to try for the first time in Hawaii. The instructor was knowledgeable and nice. One of the issue we had was parking. We did not know that it was in a residential area and there was no parking available when we arrived 15 mins early. Maybe because there was a garage sale that weekend and there was no street parking anywhere else. We ended up parking in front of their house which was not one of the designated offered spot. We barely made it to class. The other small issue was the teaching. She would verbally give the instructions but not perform most of the poses. I haven't done yoga in a while so that was a bit confusing for me. I had to keep looking at the other students for guidance. The pace was a bit unsteady during the middle of the session. It started off good, one breath one movement but in the middle she gave a few instructions that was more like half a breath and one movement. We did have a good workout overall. It seems there's a lot of regulars that knew her way of teaching and they didn't have any problem following her during the class. The students were very welcoming and nice to us newcomers. They also had incredible strength and stamina doing the head stand. My friends and I were quite impressed. read more

I decided to hold myself accountable for getting back into my practice and Yelp led me to Yoga4Ewa and Tasha. I took advantage of the generous Kamaaina introductory rate ($80 for a month of unlimited classes) and have waited three weeks to write this review as I wanted to be able to try each class offered. First, let me start out by saying Tasha is an extraordinary instructor. She is well-versed in a variety of yoga styles and has a welcoming, kind, open way of guiding you through the poses while considering your personal space, preferences, and flexiblity. With each class, I feel challenged yet respected. Also, the studio is lovely. Tucked away in the back of her home, Tasha has created a clean, airy, and bright space with all of the yoga props you'll need for a great experience (although I quickly ordered my own mat and strap so I could continue my practice at home!). I have NO concerns regarding COVID or any other issues that may come our way. The studio is well ventilated with plenty of open windows, doors, and sliders on the green space in the backyard and all props and surfaces are dust-free and sanitized after each class. I love a good meditative stretch, so my favorite class has been the Friday morning gentle yoga and I know I'll continue to go to this class as my schedule allows. The Ashtanga classes are where I push my limits of strength, balance, and flexibility and learn to let go and trust my body and my instructor - neither has let me down yet! I've also attended the Hatha class taught by Margaret, chair yoga, and the Vinyasa Fusion class. They've all challenged me in different ways and I enjoyed getting to learn a bit more about each practice. After class, it's nice to take a few moments to look out at the Pacific and give thanks for your practice and the time that you've created for YOU. read more

I start my weekend off unwinding and aligning at Yoga4Ewa. This boutique-style yoga studio encourages all levels and helps me grow in my practice. Tasha is an amazing teacher who provides individual attention, in a group setting, to ensure we benefit from where weʻre at today. Namaste read more

Extremely knowledgeable owner/yogi, the studio has great energy, matched only by the gentle sound of waves & birds in the background, being there has become one of my "happy places". You will learn tons & be glad you chose to practice there. read more

Tasha is a great yoga instructor! In addition to her many years of teaching students, she is also a teacher trainer. I have been going to Yoga4Ewa for only a few months and not only feel stronger but can visually see the difference in my arms. Having taken yoga classes on and off for the past 30+ years, she is the first teacher who taught me how to get into a headstand - I didn't even think it was possible to learn that at my age! At the start of her career, she was a personal trainer and brings this into her classes by teaching the poses, observing her students and working with them one on one to achieve the pose. I have learned so much more this way as opposed to teachers who only do the poises with the class, which makes it harder to observe all class students and to provide this individual attention. She uses the yoga Sanskrit names instead of the common names (like pigeon poise) for many yoga poses, so initially I had to watch the other students to understand what pose we were doing and I am happy that I am learning all the Sanskrit words. The class students are very friendly as is Tasha - I highly recommend taking her classes. read more

***COVID-19 WARNING!!!*** Remained open for business against Honolulu and state of Hawaii order to close all non-essential businesses, which included gyms and fitness businesses. Shows no concern for community members or people taking classes with regard to exposing people to Covid-19. No masks are worn, no social distancing is possible in the poorly ventilated studio. Was confronted on the risk and irresponsibility shown to others, and ownership again actively ignored the law and all community concerns. Had the chance to show they are good neighbors and people who show aloha, instead they took the selfish, arrogant, irresponsible, and downright dangerous choice of money over safety.. Not in line with the teachings of Yoga. Not in line with common decency. Not in line with simple morality and common sense. read more

I took the Myofacial Release class this past Saturday. I can't give Tasha enough stars to begin to thank her for this class. As I push 60, and since I work from home, my body has gotten so stiff. I exercise daily, but stretching wasn't enough. The morning of this class I could barely get out of bed without a full body stretch in bed. My hips are nearly frozen in place and very painful most mornings. Well... I can say that is a now a thing of the past! I have not felt this good in a very long time! Hip pain gone! Shoulders and neck no longer so tight I can't turn my head side to side. Back spasms gone! This class should be taught to everyone, it would be a fantastic public health service! Everyone can benefit from myofacial release. Many mahalos to Tasha! read more

I love this place! The atmosphere, the owner, the classes, the sound of the ocean near by...these are just some of the great things about YOGA4EWA. Don't be fooled by the smaller classes! The quality of the instruction is superior. All the instructors are well-trained and some of the nicest people I've ever met. Trust me, you will get a workout! The teachers are challenging but make every class accessible, especially for beginner yogis like me. The prices are very reasonable as well (especially when compared to other studios). The quality of yoga offered at YOGA4EWA is beyond superior, dare I say even BETTER than its larger competitions in town. Now that I'm out of state, I can truly say I miss Tasha (the owner) and all my fellow yogis so much. Nothing here in Denver has really compared to the overall quality of yoga and instruction I've had at YOGA4EWA. My first of only few FIVE STAR reviews I'll ever give. read more

Yoga 4 Ewa gets my highest recommendation! I've been practicing yoga for over 18 years, and this studio has stolen my heart! I fell in love with this sweet, charming, passionate studio for many reasons. Whether you are local, traveling through, or just looking for a virtual class, Yoga 4 Ewa is the place for you. Tasha's knowledge of the practice is bar none: she is an enlightened spirit. There is nothing artificial about this quaint oasis: from the natural lighting, warm open air breeze, and friendly welcomes from the students. Tasha and Yoga 4 Ewa are my OHANA! read more

I was very hesitant to start yoga at my age. Tasha was absolutely amazing and guided me through the class. I never once felt awkward or out of place. I will be practicing yoga regularly and will be doing it right here with Tasha! read more

Tasha and the other teachers are so well versed in yoga. Not just poses, but how to adjust for injuries and the mental/spiritual components as well. Most classes have a live Zoom option to take the class remotely and still get feedback (yes, they can watch the tablet, give in class feedback, AND give at home feedback because they're that good). The classes that are live are also recorded for later if a time doesn't fit your schedule perfectly. A+ adaptation to covid and so helpful for military families to keep in touch with their HI yoga family. Small studio classes help make sure you get the attention and support you need. Best example of compassion and expertise that I've ever experienced read more

I teach here and let me just say that my class last night had some amazing yogi's. We get people with all levels of experience and everyone puts their heart into it. Such an honor to be a part of this kula. Namaste! read more

This studio is where I found my yoga community which then grew into my yoga ohana. I started taking classes here 2 years ago and now I'm at it 5 days a week. I found my passion here and enrolled in the teacher training which has totally changed my life. This is a special place, and has so much to offer for students of all levels. There's childcare in the morning for $2 and the care givers are all wonderful. My 16 month old has been coming since she could sit up. If you're looking for a yoga studio that offers a variety of classes and cares about each student then you should definitely check this place out! read more

During COVID-19, WE WERE ALL REQUIRED TO USE WISDOM, and are still; however NO TRACES OF THE VIRUSES WAS TRACED TO THIS STUDIO! I have been going to YOGA4EWA since 2016, the staff have always been pleasant and patient, especiallyTasha { the owner} [she works with you wherever you maybe at ] in your Yoga Journeys. They offer a variety of classes for all levels. I've even stop in the past to converse with the other students to hear their heart as the leave their classes; never heard of any complaints. They also offer childcare for $2[ were can you get that for a class?] read more

We are so fortunate to have a wonderful yoga studio right here in Ewa! Friendly, welcoming, down-to-earth, knowledgeable. Convenient classes in the mornings and evenings, both in the studio and at Kapilina beach homes. read more

I found this amazing yoga studio by Goolging for a place to keep up my practice while on vacation. What a wonderful find! The studio is a perfect blend of smaller sized studio and personalized instruction with great locals as well as a few visitors/vacationers! The instructors are all well into thier own practice AND teach with amazing insight and guidance! DO NOT MISS a chance to take a class from these amazing instructors while here on the leeward side of Oha'u - you will walk away having had the opportunity to grow and expand your personal practice. There is so much more I would love to go on about - it was an experience which I won't soon forget and plan to return again in a few months to visit my friend and you can bet I'll be doing yoga4ewa! read more

I absolutely love that there is a yoga studio in Ewa Beach! It is a very small studio at the back of a house in an unsuspecting location (in the middle of a neighborhood). That being said, I have only been a couple of times because this yoga studio is definitely geared towards stay-at-home moms/dads, retirees, or people that telecommute from their homes in Ewa Beach. Their class schedules make it IMPOSSIBLE for the person that works a normal Monday-Friday, 9-5 job in town (also, in my opinion, the type of person that NEEDS yoga in their life). They offer classes at ONLY 8:30am, 10:30am, and 5:30pm(some days 6pm) Monday through Thursday, offer one morning class on Friday, one on Saturday, and none on Sundays! I mean, they could at least offer a later Saturday class because I like to sleep until 9am on the weekends. Bottom line: If you have a normal Monday through Friday full-time work schedule, look somewhere else for your yoga needs. YOGA4EWA, please offer 7pm or later classes!!! read more

Hands-down the best yoga studio I found in my 47 years on this earth! Great instructors! Very nice place! Very clean! Plenty of room for social distancing, always offering ways to stay healthy, hand sanitizer at the door! Always thinking of the clients first. Offering ways to boost our immunity and immune system's with specific yoga poses and breathing techniques. This studio is legit, it has a little bit for everyone. Whether your a beginner needing a gentle, or yin , or HATHA class. To the more devoted experienced Yogis that prefer Ashthanga, Vinyasa Fusion. She also offers a variety of workshops, and everything is available on Zoom. read more

YOGA4EWA - YOGA4EWA studio - Yoga Near Me - Ewa Beach, Hawaii

We arranged for a private class during my visit to Oahu, and the class was terrific! Our instructor reviewed our goals for the class, any limitations (my rotator cuff!), and we received great guidance during this challenging, but not too challenging class. Thanks so much! I hope to visit again soon, and have another class at Yoga4Eva! read more

This is a great class with a small class feel, professional instruction, and in a clean, professional environment. This was our first private yoga lesson. My gal and I were visiting her parents on Ewa (leeward side of Oahu). Two 30 somethings and a "young" senior. We've had many years of informal yoga classes at our local gym, but never more than anything novice. Our instructor was the owner (forgot her name). She was great and from the start there was something different taking a personal class vs a big gym class. First off, she caters the class to the individuals. Next, she doesn't do the forms in front of the class (like every other instructor)...she demonstrates and then helps you personally to meet the objectives of the pose or form. We ended the class doing headstands...a first of all of us. Since the class, I can do it without instruction. The reason for no 5 stars, is because the studio is built into a residential home, not because the studio itself is not professional...probably the best studio I've ever been in, but because the front looks like a typical home in a typical neighborhood...meaning no easy parking for more than a couple cars. Also a bit difficult to find for the first timer. The studio has excellent supplies (mat, which I was instructed to clean after the session (noice) and plenty of blankets, blocks, etc...all high grade stuff. It was the thickest mat I ever used. Good air conditioning (but I was still drenched in my sweat by the end of the class...what a workout). I have not tried the classes yet, but I intend to make this a regular stop for our visits to Ewa. read more

I love this studio! I've come here twice for Hatha yoga and tonight will be my third time. I'm very new to yoga and took my first class here. The instructors are awesome and very attentive. The largest class was maybe 10 people so you'll get all of the help you need. The fellow students are all sooo nice and welcoming so no worries about walking into a stuffy environment, that won't happen here! The studio is small, but very clean and professional. I love that I can hear birds chirping in the backyard as we go through different poses and stretches. It really adds to the calming atmosphere. I starting coming here because of a Groupon I purchased. I have a couple more visits left, but after that I'll purchase 10 class passes going forward. It's affordable and the pass is good for 3 months so you don't have to worry about paying an arm and a leg for a monthly pass for classes you may not be able to attend. Parking looks intimidating, but I live less than a mile away so I just walk or have the bf give me a ride. I'm just happy to have a studio so close! read more

Pretty bummed how the business reacted to my request for a refund/extension for hours I had purchased that expired during the pandemic. They refused to let me keep my hours. Not only am I pregnant, but was not willing to risk getting the virus. Pretty unfortunate a local business can't make an exception for a loyal customer. I will no longer be purchasing classes or recommending you guys! And this business was also open against community guidelines for being closed..... read more

I don't recommend yoga4eva. I signed up on a Saturday and called up a few hours later saying that I would not be able to attend any of the classes because I had to leave the island due to work issues and I would not be back to the end of the year. I was told that I would not receive a refund. Total rip off.. read more

Love this place. I've taken classes from both Tasha and Ashley. They're both attentive, dedicated and helpful. I am new to yoga and love Yoga4Ewa! I am so fortunate to have found this gem in my neighborhood ! have been attending classes for about four months now and always feel welcomed by Tasha and the other students. At the end of class I feel relaxed and rejuvenated and am already looking forward to the next class. read more

YOGA4EWA is absolutely amazing! I've been doing yoga for about 10 years now, and no one has been as helpful/educated as Tasha and Margret have been. I've truly felt my body - and mind - become stronger every day that I'm here. I love how encouraging they are, and how they give wonderful modifications for every pose that allows it. You don't feel forced to do anything you can't/don't want to do, but they will definitely help you advance your practice if you want to. An added bonus - besides being able to hear the relaxing ocean waves from the class room - is that they offer an amazing YTT program, as well as a number of popular workshops! If you're lucky enough to be in Oahu, I highly suggest making your way to YOGA4EWA - you won't regret it read more

Tasha is a fantastic yoga instructor who is very experienced and has a wealth of knowledge on all things related to yoga. She is extremely dedicated to her students and is always willing to help them perfect their practice. I experienced some back problems and she worked with me to learn poses I could continue to do on my own to help alleviate my pain; all of which were very helpful! When the pandemic hit, she immediately began offering Zoom classes so students could continue with their practice at home. She also offers monthly workshops to help deepen your practice and learn different techniques to improve your overall practice and well-being. read more

My fiancée and I go here and they are wonderful. I've been to yoga in town before and it's pretty impersonal. Here you get some one on one attention and the instructors are super friendly. I found a tribe when I found Yoga 4 Ewa! The studio offers a wide range of styles, from rigorous Ashtanga to rejuvenating Yin. The teachers bring their their own personality and style to the practice, which adds a loving touch to the class.
