Been working out here for quite sometime now and finally decided to leave a review after my All Access Membership ended! Price: First...yes, classes are expensive! However, they do have a few discount options for memberships and class packs. I enjoyed my All Access Membership because it allowed me to take unlimited classes and to reserve my spot for class up to 2 weeks in advance. I started out with the 1 week trial (no credit card needed) and fell in love with this studio. With my membership I was able to frequent different locations as well and take classes in other studios besides Kapolei. Classes: As someone who used to weight lift and run, I naturally gravitated to Yoga Sculpt and Strength X. Yoga Sculpt is a mix of classic yoga poses with compound-complex patterns using low resistance and high repetition sets. All of the sculpt instructors I have taken are amazing. I like Strength X as well for circuit training: lifting heavier weights with less repetitions. Some weeks I like to do the Core Restore classes which include breath work and holding a stretch position for 3-5 minutes. I have yet to try actual yoga classes here but all in all, I feel like there's a class for everyone. Ambiance: The energy is amazing, especially here at Kapolei. Instructors are extremely friendly and welcoming. You grow to be a part of their family and community the more you come in to take classes. Parking can sometimes be a hassle but it's in a shopping center with lots of stalls but limited ones directly adjacent to CPY. Verdict: If you are looking for some structure with working out and getting moving, I highly recommend CPY! It is worth the price when you break the cost of everything down. CorePower has given me my confidence back. I've been coming here for about a year now and i have lost and kept off about 15 lbs. I would also Lille to add how moving away from home gets a little hard but this place has such a sense of community I always look forward to my workouts. I love being able to come here not think about what I should do but just do it. All of the instructors are so sweet and no matter who you get you'll always leave with a smile and a sweat! My favorite class is yoga sculpt I love the push and the heated room the sweat I get when taking the class always makes me feel so accomplished. When I want to mix it up I take a CSX class which isn't heated but gives me a great sweat too. Of course their Yoga 2 classes are amazing I love the flow and the time we get to play (do cool and fun poses) although CPY may be expensive the unlimited classes that give you a range of classes is so worth it. read more

I recently started going to this studio and I love it. It's so easy to find parking and the classes are challenging but fun. The location is great and all the teachers are really helpful in providing modifications whenever I need. I have taken the yoga sculpt and the strength x as well as the core restore. read more

My friend said I would like it here and she wasn't wrong. It's closer to home than the yoga studio we normally go to. I was able to get a 7-day free trial before committing. The teachers are great and there are a variety of classes to try. I love yoga sculpt which is a mix of cardio and weights. C2 is great, too, since I can never make it to the Core Restore classes later in the evening. The stretches are much needed for the body. Hot Power Fusion was another class I tried and the heat is intense. I have to say, yoga has really helped me rehab a knee pain I was having. Updated review: It has been a while since I've taken a CorePower class- I was a bit nervous to get back on the mat and back in the heated rooms. At the end of it, I was very happy that I took this time for myself and Liz guided me through an amazing C1 class. I even got further in my crow pose than ever before! CorePower still maintains a beautiful and clean studio. Great lockers for you belonging and cubby holes for your shoes. Cold and filtered water to hydrate yourself and a extensive (yet expensive) selection of yoga / workout clothes from all of your favorite athletic / athleisure brands! At no fault to CorePower Kapolei, the vibes are now a bit more chaotic because of all the new businesses around it. Parking is not as easy peasy as it was before, I came 15 minutes before my class but ended up circling for a spot with a mere 3 minutes to spare when I entered the studio. I hate feeling late to a workout class, it takes longer to feel centered and get grounded. And then throughout the class there is so much outside noise from people, I believe, waiting for a table at one of the nearby restaurants. My balance was thrown off a few times from hearing kids screaming on the other side of the window. I believe this might only be an issue in their studio 1 though. With all that said, this is still a solid 4 star experience and honestly, this is a great way to cure a hangover and get all the alcohol sweat and toxins out of you! read more

The staff was very welcoming. I took classes 3 different days from different instructors. They were all very good. They each had their individual style but exceptional workout! The studio is very clean and the infrared heating system is enough to get a good sweat. I'm super pleased that I was able to continue my yoga workouts while on vacation as a black tag member. CorePower Yoga Kapolei is located in the beautiful Kapolei Commons Center. With two spacious studios located inside, this place serves as an amazing spot to get your sweat on. They offer an array of yoga classes including vinyasa flow (of different levels) and much more. My favorites are CoreStrength X, Yoga Sculpt, and CoreRestore. Here is my rundown on some of the amazing teachers I've taken and that I'm very familiar with: Maureen: literally a living legend. She is an amazing, hardcore instructor who makes you PUSH yourself while creating a positive, fun environment. Her jokes are hilarious and brings the mood up! Gino: great, motivational instructor. He starts class setting an intention and is really good at making the class fun and exciting. Ashley: sweetest teacher ever, took one CoreRestore class with her and ever since then remembers my name whenever I came in. She truly goes above and beyond asking how am I and how I enjoyed class. I love her CoreRestore class! While I would love to go on, Laura, Elizabeth, Kalama, and Rafi are also amazing Sculpt/Strength X instructors! The moral of the story is that the instructors here are AMAZING. They really go above and beyond and provide an inclusive environment for one to grow. I went to a Core Power yoga class at Ward years ago, but remembered liking it so I decided to try out a class at the new Kapolei studio. The studio is located right across from Ruby Tuesday and next to Genki Sushi. Since I was already in the system, I couldn't take advantage of all the new customer promotions they are running which included a free week of classes. I paid the drop in fee of $28 and registered for the Yoga Sculpt class which is described as combining "free weights with CorePower Yoga 2 sequencing and cardio to intensify each pose while mixing in strength-training moves like squats, lunges and bicep curls." The instructor was awesome and I got a really great workout. I loved it, but couldn't handle the heat. The room was set at 95 degrees with no added humidity. Benefits of the added heat are stretching your muscles and detoxing your skin. All Hawaii Core Power Yoga locations have showers. They also sell water and rent mats and towels. Joining Corepower after trying a complimentary week has been so good for my mind body & soul. Jen has been so good and patient in helping me learn poses and how to improve my body form while challenging me into confidence. I really appreciate her strengths! Phoenix and Ashley have been wonderful yoga teachers in my journey as-well, I'm feeling ready to level up to C2. Clean welcoming environment with these teachers has been Great! This studio is great bc they have the best yoga instructor in the entire cpy franchise working here. I travel frequently...nyc, la, sf, Boulder, so I've taken many classes across the country. Cpy consistently has better instructors than other studios but she is one of the top 5 I've had in my life...I've probably taken several hundred classes, folks. I think her name is Maka. I recently had to quit cpy because it's soooo far from me (I live in Central Oahu) but I would pay a la carte just for her classes. Otherwise, I really appreciate the overall quality of cpy, the cleanliness of the studios, and the general reliability and access, especially when traveling all over the country. They have a lot of solid instructors. My only complaint is that the studios here in Hawaii seem to focus more on the cardio and weight classes.... I prefer traditional flow and vinyasa. Overall, lots of love for cpy, wish we had one in mililani or waipahu! read more

Located in the Kapolei commons. Skip the first right turn in take the second entry then make an immediate right and this takes you to the parking lot for Core Power Yoga. You can do 1 week free by signing up online or walk in and get this set up. I recommend trying all of the different classes offered at this time. The studio is clean with waterproof gray wood floors and infrared heat, that's right I said infrared heat. Being the newest studio on this is the only CPY on the island with this heat. Check out the website for the various details but in general C1 for beginners C2 and C3 experienced yogis Sculpt is cardio and weights with yoga My favorite part is experiencing the different instructors music set and flow. If you are like me and you are motivated by music this really is such a fun workout. All of the instructors are amazing, special mention to Bonnie C2 and Tara for sculpt. Lockers with keys are available. 2 showers with shampoo, conditioner and body soap along with q-tips and hair dryers are in the locker room. I've been meaning to try CorePower Yoga in Kapolei since it opened this past summer, but my work schedule never really allowed me to get a full week in for the trial. My only other hot yoga experience has been with a Bikram hot yoga studio. Bonnie was our instructor and she was awesome. She was very in tune with the entire class population which was a mix of yoga-newbies, hot yoga newbies all the way to the moderate yogis. I thoroughly enjoy the core portion of the class and thoroughly enjoyed this challenging workout. Walking in, I did not know that this particular class would have heat, so Mary and I were ill-prepared, but we are in good shape and we had our water bottles, so we were good. After this class I fully intend to come back for my week very soon and try and work in a membership (again, if my work schedule allows) CorePower Yoga kicks and I whole heartedly recommend this studio for anyone looking for a fun, challenging workout. read more

Inside: clean, welcoming, well maintained studios and equipment, amazing infrared heat (not at any of the other CorePower Hawaii studios), showers and changing rooms were clean too (3 showers and two bathrooms in the women's area) and consistent CorePower style/culture Staff: very friendly, inviting, and eager to help C2 Class: took Bonnies class and such a good sweat! Loved the variation of the core focuses we did too! I haven't done a C2 class that really pushed the obliques like we did today! It was a challenge but really needed :). Such a great gem for the westside! The perfect place for yogis on the go! Definitely going to be dropping in, bringing in my west side friends/family when I'm on this side of the island!! read more

Love yourself gals and boys and start the New year with Hot core yoga at this Kapolei studio. You take advantage of their 5 free classes before you commit. It was a fantastic workout for me today. Studio location wasn't easy to find behind the Denny's . Clean and airy rooms. Clean bathrooms ladies. They have showers if you need and lockers for personal items. Do take your own mats and towels. First visits they do offer. Parking not too available so first come first gets front. Gone there twice and looking forward to continuing. Manager is very informative and she also teachers classes. Give yourself this opportunity Hawaii, even if you visiting family visit Core yoga Kapolei and work out all those kinks from the plane ride. read more

Best set up for an athletic business Ive ever seen Its clean, organized and thoughtful. All this creates a nice space to practice this old artform. My first class ever so was nervous but Bonnie our instructor said for us to not focus on what others were doing but to listen to our own body as its our journey. That was so helpful in preventing me from mentally ruining the experience by trying to be perfect at something Ive never done. The only thing I didn't like was the heated room but apparently this is normal so I just ignored it and focused on what I could do. Eugene (aka Gino) is a new sculpt instructor, but not new to hot corepower yoga! His class is very challenging, enough to make you want more of it, yet satisfied that you actually pushed yourself hard for one hour of "bootcamp yoga", as my younger brother describes it. I have enough sculpt experience, along with other intense workout experiences (my bias) to say he exceeds expectations when coming to his sculpt class. FINALLY there is a Corepower closer to Mililani. PRAISE! For years I have spent my visits home driving to town or Kailua to catch a C2, C3 or Sculpt, spending my precious time away from family in the car to get my yoga fix. When I arrived home for the holidays earlier this month and looked at the schedule, I saw Kapolei and could have cried tears of joy. Thank you Corepower Kapolei for bringing the gift of practice to those of us who are Central/Westside. I took great Sculpt and C2 classes with Bonnie and Kalona -- they are gifted, motivating teachers. Loved their energy, sequencing and music. They also connected with us, especially the new students, which I appreciated. also very much enjoyed Sculpt with Jessica Yu. The yogis here are so welcoming and kind, too. Aloha Yogi's! I am impressed with the new studio in Kapolei. Like the other CPY studios, the restroom is spacious, the lockers are plentiful, filtered water station readily available (just bring your flask), rental mats if you forget. There are 2 studios- the walls are a bit thin but, you can still get your zen and focus on if your taking a CR, C1 or C2 class. The Yoga sculpt class sounds intense. I have done the corepower on demand YS classes and they are fun. Parking is plentiful *yay* and with the new studio, the class schedules are expanding. Am very happy that there is a C2 Sunday early AM class and for the weekdays, 1930 PM classes available. This was my first class at this studio and I had an awesome C2 class with Nikki. It is sometimes difficult to find an instructor that you mesh well with. The blacktag membership can be steep, there are pack classes as well, if you are unable to commit to 3-4 classes a week to make the $189 (plus tax) monthly blacktag membership. The great thing about the blacktag membership is that you may cancel or freeze your account at any time (just call the main office in Colorado at least 24 hours before the next month's payment). I tend to go back and forth between Bikram and Vinyasa/Ashtanga flow types of yoga practice, but have good thoughts and vibes about CPY, especially this studio. I recommend that you give it a try- they have a 1 week free practice for all new yogis or those who are considering yoga or yoga sculpt. Namaste. read more

I never thought that I would love yoga until I did yoga sculpt which focuses on your overall well being and not just stretching. My cup of tea kind of workout. Not only I enjoyed it but having the connection and relationship with the instructors makes hard not to come back. Every single instructor has their own taste of things which I really love because it's not always the same repetitive workout. read more

I love Corepower Yoga! I'm so sorry, I did visit awhile ago (before all the madness started with Covid) but have not been able to write a review until now. It's located in Kapolei near Down to Earth, Ulta, etc.. Although it appears to be quite small when you walk in, you immediately notice how clean it is and how organized they are. The instructor was so nice and was so knowledgeable witheverything related to yoga. I sure worked out a sweat! The heat was't as bad as other hot yoga classes I've attended in the past. I would definitely recommend visiting or at least checking the site out online to gather more information about what yoga is all about. It gives you a great workout and my body felt so loose and relaxed afterwards. read more

Went for opening day yesterday. I highly recommend this place. I used to be a yoga instructor but have been out of practice for a few years. Decided to dive back into it at this location. Parking was convenient, the studio was spacious and clean, and most importantly the staff were all so friendly and helpful. I took a C1 class with Taylor and had a great experience. It was challenging but doable for all levels. I signed up for the Black Tag Unlimited membership and am looking forward to more classes. You'll definitely sweat more than a typical studio yoga class so invest in a nice grippy mat and yoga towel. read more
