They have a $99 first time student intro offer so this was perfect for me. My first class here was the Wednesday 60 min hot yoga candlelight and it was just what I needed at the first time. I'm not a huge sweater but with all the stresses I was dealing with and the amazing teacher I was covered in sweat and felt so relieved after my first class. I immediately enrolled in the Saturday 90 min class. Now that I've been coming for about 3 weeks I have seen improvement in my flexibility and have been managing my stress level tremendously. I have been doing the weekly candlelight and 90 day Saturday classes. I will update once I am able to attend the Monday yin and Saturday Pilates classes but I've been told both classes are great as well. I have attended classes from all 3 teachers and though their styles vary slightly I have felt amazing after classes with each 3. There are locker rooms to leave your personal belongings while in classes and clean showers and restrooms. Which is a huge plus. The owner is amazingly supportive and encouraging as well.

I love that registration is via text--so easy--and she makes sure you're fully prepared before your first class. I love how they message/ check in with you before class and give you clear instructions on what to bring and where it's located. I found the studio easily and there was a lot of street parking. It was a full class but I'm glad there were beginners like me in there. I also saw people I recognized which was nice. I love that Catherine walks around class and fixes your form. I unfortunately almost passed out white face and I thought I was going to the hospital... but Kashmira came out and made sure I was okay and that if I needed anything she was there for me. I saw the Lagree Oahu studio by chance and looked it up and decided to give them a go. I've attended at least four classes now, each with a different instructor. While each instructor has their own style, I like that there is a consistency in the way each class is taught. The choreo every class is different but the moves are the same. Even though the Lagree workout is similar to Pilates, they're not the same. I definitely felt muscle aches in areas I've never felt before! Lagree Oahu is located at the Ala Moana Center ground floor, very conveniently by the main entrance close to Jeans Warehouse, Massage Palace, Marshall's, etc, and lots of parking in the mornings. It's a very compact studio, clean and bright. There are ten megaformer machines (reservations required) two changing rooms, cubbies, and a water fountain.

In short: it's the kids class, with adults participating. Not very satisfying. And my warmup was led by like a six year old. Their customer service is horrible and they just seem money hungry. I have been to other locally owned gyms who would easily refund us if we emailed them 48 hours prior to when they bill but I guess this gym does not care about their clients. The overall gym is very small, there is another review for adult gymnastics that gives it 2/3 stars and I have to agree with them. You spend more than half the class stretching and maybe 10 minutes doing actually gymnastics. Sometimes you only do the activity once because of how little time you're given doing actual gymnastics. I would recommend another place that has two hour adult gymnastics for half the price!

Joseph Pilates has a famous quote: "In 10 sessions you will feel the difference, in 20 you will see the difference, and in 30 you'll have a whole new body." This couldn't me more true of Sunset Beach Pilates thanks to Carli & her team of incredible instructors. I've been an avid fitness enthusiast for years having done every type of exercise under the sun. From running, yoga, spin, HIIT, etc... But Pilates has truly been my go-to for that long/lean physique. It stretches you in ways you never thought possible (in more ways than one). You gain a deeper mind-body connection & become stronger from the "inside out". Also, in times like these I have to add just how impressed I am with the cleanliness of the studio.
