I took my first F45 class a couple of days ago and I'm still feeling it - in the best way. My…read morefriends have taken a few classes here so we decided to book a class together. There were three of us so luckily, we were able to be put in the same group and do the circuit together. Since it was my first class I got there 15 minutes early. There was plenty of parking when I showed up, but as the class time got closer the parking lot filled up. I always get nervous when taking a new type of workout class but the staff walked me through the space and how they structure the classes. Essentially, there are different stations and in groups of 3-4 you move through each workout with breaks in between sets. They also break up the sets with ab workouts etc. that you do as a whole group. They have screens to follow what each workout is and they also go through all the workouts at the beginning of the class. I will say that there was one workout, I think either a deadlift or Romanian deadlift- that I could feel that I wasn't doing properly. Lucky for me, someone in the group behind me saw and gave me some pointers. The music was really fun and upbeat- can't wait to go again with my friends!

The gym is very clean, spacious and organized. All of the equipment is in excellent condition and clearly well-maintained. They use Eleiko bars and combo racks, which are competition grade and the gold standard for serious lifters. You can tell this space was built with intention. Parking was simple with designated spots for the gym and the location was easy to find even early in the morning. Overall, Ukiyo Hawai'i offers a premium training experience with everything you need for a great workout even if you are not a powerlifter. I would easily visit again next time.

You can pay ahead of time online and they give you a way to unlock the gym with your phone. They have parking available nearby and some spots are make specifically for Ukiyo. There are tripods around for anyone to use and a good variety of weights. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and I had a fantastic workout. Slept amazing that night! The other students in the class were kind and got me set up with a mat and towel (shout out Anne!). All in all, I had a wonderful vacation experience and highly recommend if you are a fan of Bikram yoga. If you are not as familiar with Bikram or dont tolerate heat well, I might skip, but otherwise, it's a great experience!
