It is a total body workout which includes brief stretching before transitioning to the next muscle group. I love how Sweat+Soul barre really targets the smaller muscles to help me feel strong and toned. I can attest that the workouts WILL stay challenging, even after working out here several times per week for years. Instead of getting "easier" with time, your form will slowly improve (which I think also helps to improve your posture!). If it's starting to feel easy, you're not properly engaging your muscles :) The teachers and the owner are all so friendly and know how to kick your ass in the best way. I also love how CLEAN it feels in the studio. Pretty much all other fitness studios I've tried out feel noticeably grosser compared to here. (I can understand that it's also probably due to the nature of the workout for other studios though.) The studio recently moved to Ward Village Center (Genki sushi, Kids City, etc.), on the side of the structure where Roger Dunn Golf is located. This new location doesn't have a water refill station yet, so be sure to fill up your flask before heading here.

Frank was very patient explaining everything very clearly so that I'll be successful in the group classes. I found Frank very knowledgeable and attentive to how to strengthen the different muscles, build stamina and avoid injuries. He helped build my independence by briefly explaining what each exercise is doing and teaching me how to adjust the rings on the Pilates Reformer, move the equipment and how to care for them. I got to take 2 classes with Kashmira, and she really seems like an experienced teacher. She knows how to motivate us and foster whatever vibe she is going for. Her playlist is also impeccable. I had been slacking on doing cardiovascular exercise, so these cycling classes were a welcome wake up call that I need to get back on the proverbial horse (bike?) with my exercise routine. I like that the studio provides you with cycling shoes, towels to dry off, towels to cool down, lockers to stash your belongings, and a pretty nice restroom. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and I had a fantastic workout. Slept amazing that night! The other students in the class were kind and got me set up with a mat and towel (shout out Anne!). If you are not as familiar with Bikram or dont tolerate heat well, I might skip, but otherwise, it's a great experience!
