Been here many times and always great food and service. We usually do the Buffett. Fresh food, clean restaurant. Never a long wait. Highly recommend, very large parking lot. Fair prices. Will definitely return.

I have gone to Yoder's quite a few times. I like to purchase the peanut butter to take home but you have to keep it refrigerated so make sure you have a way to keep it cold if you are traveling. Also, the hidden gem here are the donuts that they sell at the gift shop. If you don't get there early they run out.

The food here is delicious. The epitome of Midwestern country food. Get the pie!!! Staff are friendly. The place gets really crowded and busy, which is understandable but also makes the experience a little difficult at times.

Iceberg lettuce, baby beets, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, hard boiled egg, poppyseed dressing.

They were busy mid afternoon. We had a very short wait. The staff were all very pleasant. The fried chicken is some of the best I've ever had. The salad bar is very nice, tried the poppyseed dressing, it was delicious. The hot fudge brownie pudding and soft serve vanilla made for a terrific first time experience for me and my family. We will be back.

Stopped into Yoder's Kitchen in Arthur, Illinois, for a quick lunch. Place was clean, and they got me seated and my drink order in right away. Can't complain about the service, it was fast. I went for the buffet, figuring an Amish place would have a good spread. Well, it was alright, but not what I was expecting. The fried chicken was crispy, which is always a plus, and the flavors were decent enough. Though, I have to say, that chicken and noodles needed a good dose of salt. It was just a little bland. It wasn't a bad meal, but I was hoping for more variety. Left feeling a bit underwhelmed.

They have the best fried (broasted) chicken around. You will not be disappointed. Worth the drive if you are not local.

After pulling into a shared lot (a landscape design and build is next door), I entered the ranch style business with a central room and a couple smaller ones containing a wide variety of objects. There is a section for ladies' clothing, and lots of tables and cabinets loaded with items. In fact, even some of the shelves and cabinets are for sale too! I saw tableware, decorative pieces, items promoting Terre Haute, candles, and art pieces. The woman who was working was pleasant and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. She let me browse at my own pace. Overall, a nice shop to stop by if you are looking for something unique. Review #2692
